Probably between 1910 and 1931. This is about the best I can get of the mark on the bottom. The bottom has wrinkles on the side and both the triangle and the number appear to be from a worn mold. I believe it is a T in an inverted triangle and probably 652 on the bottom could be an 052. T in an inverted triangle.Turner Bros. Glass Company. Terre Haute, IN(c.1905-1930) Full 1/2 gallon" With cork stopper 652 on bottom Age: 1910-1931(1898-1909) Cicero. IN, United States, 1898-1902) Terre Haute. Up for bid isthis real nice vintage 2 handle. Clear glass, 1 gallon jug. This has a brick like design around the sides and top of it that makes it unique. The bottom has the words"Design patent Applied for" There is also the numbers and letters"R-233" in a circle and the number'757' also on the bottom. On one of the flat glass part at the top it reads" One Full Gallon" and on the other side of the clear flat glass it reads"Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle" and there are some minor scratches on the glass under this wording. Any information is appreciated. Bottle/Jug stands 12-1/2" tall. Is about 6-1/2" in diameter and weighs three pounds. Has the unique(two finger) handle on neck which has Hi-lex in raised letters on both sides. Bottle/Jug is marked Gallon To Line Hi-Lex in two places. Is marked 7- 9- 49 and some type of logo on the bottom Excellent Condition with Original Metal Lid which has some wear/age. Bottle is Near Mint but the inside is dirty. Nice circa 1936 Owens-Illinois 2-gallon kerosene bottle. Has a very clear maker's mark on the bottom of the bottle. Showing it was manufactured in Alton, Illinois in 1936. 99% clean with just a slight residue left in the interior. 17" high x approximately 8" in diameter. Nice original metal spring-loaded nozzle and cap. Original metal collar and handle. All metal has some minor tarnish patina. No cracks. Chips or breaks, just a few insignificant scratches from use-wear. The bottom of the bottle has that terrific veining synonymous with the Owens-Illinois glass firing process. Up for auction is this vintage clear glass 1 gallon jug. Near the base. It has One Gallon embossed in each quarter. On the bottom, it reads, United Vintner's Inc. 5259, 68, 6, C, and the makers mark. Beneath that, it says Refilling Prohibited. Its in quite nice shape; a few scratches here and there but no chips, cracks, nicks, not even a flea bite on the rim. This could be used for so many things: fresh water storage; build a ship in a bottle; sun tea making; a terrarium; put clear lights in it and hang it in your seating area at night; paint it pink, add 4 legs, ears, eyes, and a squiggly tail; fill it with spare change, etc. It would be especially handy in the Spring when the maple sap is boiled down into syrup. A nice solid jug with so many uses!

Hand blown 5 gallon Glass Jug with original wooden crate. Stunning! Beautiful decor item. This piece has been in my family since at least the late 1800's. Was my great great grandfathers and according to the family story they used it for wine. Still has it's original wooden crate that has a very rare hand made spring system that keeps the jug extra snug. Has original cork that I will not attempt to pull out. This is hand blown& has some air bubbles. The jug has no markings at all. I have not been able to locate another one like this on the Internet. Very very rare piece!
