The handle is applied. You can see many bubbles inside and the pontil area is smoother then I’ve seen from most kinds of these items. Measures approx: 5 ½” tall, 5 ½” wide including handle. Antique Amethyst Jug With Applied Handle Up for bid is this great early American amethyst Jug. It was made in a two-part mold. The mouth or opening of the jug was fire polished and the very nice hand-tooled handle was applied. The jug is loaded with seed bubbles and little imperfections throughout the glass. Which gives it a primitive look with lots of character. It is 8.5 inches tall, and 5.5 inches wide. Overall this wonderful jug is in excellent antique condition. There are no chips or cracks and the handle is fine with no checks. There is some light staining around the bottom. But only is seen or noticed in strong sunlight. Beautiful Early 19th C. Emerald Green Lacy Glass Cream Jug With Applied Handle This is a nice early 19th C. mold blown flint lacy pattern glass cream jug with applied handle and panel cut neck. In a beautiful emerald green. It measures 4 1/2" high, and 4 3/4" across from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition with no chips, or cracks. There are a few shallow flakes to the inner edge of where the lower part of the handle was applied, done in the making not damage, there are no cracks or issues with the handle. It is a nice heavy piece, and I can see the remnants of the circular pontil mark on the base. This is a nice and very early piece of pressed glass, probably Baccarat, at least french, I do not think it is american. Money Back. My Policies: My Policies: If any item not as described. I am unsure if this jug is a Blenko or done by some other maker. The bottom has an unpolished pontil mark and very nice age wear. The top inside rim shows wear from possibly a cork or glass stopper. This is a great old hand blown glass pitcher with a pontil on the base. The sides are etched with a nice design. The handle is hand applied. The stopper has a couple of chips. There are no chips or cracks in the pitcher. The neck of this piece is stone ground for a tight fitting stopper fit.

I honestly don't have a clue on this one-any help would be much appreciated. The colorless glass has a raised rib pattern. It is accented with an applied pink handle cased in clear. The jug measures 5 1/8" high. 3 3/4" across at the top and about 5" across at the widest point. The bottom has a ground and nicely polished pontil. There are no markings. It is quite heavy for its size-almost 3 pounds before packing. This piece is in very good estate condition with no damage or restoration noted. 4 1/2" WHITE MILK GLASSJUG. APPLIED HANDLE. HARD TO FIND There is no maker's mark on this small milk-glass jug which we actually had to dig out at an antique barn site located in Guadalupe County. Texas. It's an old barn, not a barn full of antiques) on rural farm property that we were invited to explore. In addition to this white jug, we found a number of old stoneware jugs, jars& bottles and pottery. Under the circumstances, it is no surprise to find this one in rough condition. Please look at the pictures. It is 4 1/2" tall X 3 1/8" diameter. The base is 2 3/8" across. The rim is 1 1/8" across and the opening is 5/8" It has an applied handle that has two small shallow chips. There is a significant chip and a crack at the rim and a hairline that begins at the neck and extends around& down. There ... moreare some stains on the surface and signs of wear. But it still holds a beautiful smooth shine. Please look at the pictures. While trying to gather information about this type of jug. I was only able to find two similar, posted recently, to compare it to. This jug may have been used to store spirits, oil or vinegar.
