It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! Art Deco CI/Glass Table
This Art Deco table is solid cast iron with the original silver paint/finish. The paint is in very good condition with wear consistent with the appropriate use and age. The stretcher base pieces to the legs are tight and sturdy. There is a nice pineapple finial in the center of these stretcher pieces(picture 5) The glass top is in great condition with no breaks or cracks. The etched painted design in the center of the glass is in good found orginal condition. The entire piece appears to be free of any repairs. Breaks, or missing parts. Rare Art Deco Duplexalite Chandelier /Brass & Milk Glass Ceiling Light Fixture
Beautiful gleaming brass and sparkling milk glass come together to create this fantastic Art Deco era light fixture. Rarely seen and expensive at the time it was made, this style of light fixture was used and can still be found in The White House in Washington D.C. and in wealthy 1920's estates across the United States, most notably in Al Capone's Florida home. Made by Duplexalite. This ceiling fixture features a stamped curving light shield embossed with swags of garlands and rosettes, the interior a brilliant white fired on enamel liner. The down light reflector is of a heavy milk glass embossed with a similar classically inspired design as photographed. Still matched with its original chain and ceiling cap. This beautiful piece is in great condition as shown with no dents, cracks or chips to the reflector ring and only a few tarnish ... morespots here and there, the electrical cap, with its original ceramic socket, has some slight wear damage to one of the holes for one of the protruding glass support arms but that is all, and the glass has no chips, cracks or damage. Inspired by the elegance of contemporary Scandinavian glass. And competing with the lead glass being made by Steuben Glass, the Libbey Glass Company contracted with Edwin W. Fuerst to design a line of glassware named"Modern American. Walter Dorwin Teague collaborated with Fuerst on this"Embassy" pattern, a classic Art Deco decor with rectangular, fluted stems. These are a matching pair of porcelain deco bathroom sconces(or wherever you would like) These Paulding wall lamps were made in the 30's and the design was produced into the 50's when they reissued wall lights from the same molds with polarized outlets. This pair has both sconces wired with an active outlet if you need one and they are polarized. It is your responsibility to ensure that these meet your local code. The original sockets-switches have been cleaned and lubed. They were designed to go on either side of the mirror above a sink. They will fit any standard box-4 1/2" wide by 6 1/4" tall ... moreon the backs. 7 1/4"tall with shades and pull chain, and stick out 4 5/8" from the wall. The slip in or drop in solid opal milk glass shades are damage free outside of normal manufacturing roughness. These shades were originally a choice for these fixtures unlike the clear glass with enamel coating shades which are often found for sale with this period style. This pair has a very small void in the casting that was glazed over so it was during manufacture. It is right below my finger in the 8th picture. The shades(at least one of them) are very opalescent and show a reddish tint. Not very noticeable but the price is lowest on this pair. 1920's~ANTIQUE ART DECO CHANDELIER~FROSTED GREEN GLASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE~VGC
This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. Has the glass top and a lower shelf, which sits about 6 1/2" off the floor. Measures about 18" in diameter at the outside, 17" inside the curves. 26" tall. Great condition for a 70+ year old table. Just shows some normal finish wear to the wood, easily refinished if so desired. Just a couple of small silvering loss spots on the glass, along with a few small scratches, and it's the thicker glass on this piece, not that thin stuff you see on some of these tables from the era. Interior designer Hagenauer belonged to the Wiener Werkstätte(Viennese Workshops) circle. He studied at the Viennese College of Applied Arts. Where he was a student of Professors Franz Cizek and Dagobert Pech. During the years 1921- 1926, he further received education at the studios of Anton Hanak and Josef Hoffmann. He designed a bust of the Madonna for the Curt Schlevogt Company as well as the sculpture"View" and the small sculptures"Duck" Hare" and"Butterfly" which were also adopted as lid-handle pieces for cigarette cases. His work also includes a small moulded plaque featuring the head of Christ.

The shade measures about 15 1/4 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There are some rough spots around the inner rim that are not visible when hung. The chain has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era. The socket housing is vintage and there are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring. This is a matching pair of pink etched glass conditment jars. Each jar has a silverplate top with a handle for easy carrying and a three bands of silver around the middle and bottom. This is a rare clock and a must have for every art deco collector and clock collector. It consists of 4 copper colored glass squares. Going from large to small. It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Cracks or scratches. Does show nicks in the paint. Normal wear for age, mainly around the flat bottom part of the shade, around the finial. I have shown this in the last 3 pics. A chrome three arm chandelier with frosted glass flower shaped shades. The glass is thick and good quality and all are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 19 inches high and approximately 14 inches at its widest. Each flower shade is 5.5 inches high and 6 inches wide. The chrome is in good condition and all the bulb holders look good with no damage and take a small screw in bulb. This lovely light fitting weighs around 2.4kgs so will be quite expensive to post but collection is very welcome.

And includes a tray, a powder bowl, a smaller twist-on bowl, and a hand mirror with a detachable handle. The tray is beautiful in color. With a starburst effect of pastel pinks into a deep lavender on the outer edges. There is a thin border around the mirrored plate, and on the left and right edges there are stretched half and quarter daisies designed on it, also in lavender color. In the center there is a silver border, and an ornate silver center piece. The bowls are both made of satin glass. The powder bowl has four crests around the outside of it with tall flowers in each one. This is gorgeous with the satin effect on the cup. Up for bid is a lovely pair of 2 Vintage 1940s Art Deco Gold Ormolu Pressed Glass Perfume Bottles measuring 4" tall. In good used condition. I can not find a maker mark on the bottle and there is some wear to the gold ormolu and one stopper has two faint flat chips. One stopper has an air bubble and one bottle has perfume residue inside. The original vintage cut and beveled art deco gray glass stone on this piece is of very high quality. The prong set stone is in a ribbed cone mounting. This is a very unique piece. From the top of the stone to the bottom point of the hatpin measures 8-1/2 inches. 8323. MINIMUM BID: $0.00 In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper. So they may have rubbed against each other and have very very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible. Antique SILVER Topped & Glass Dressing Table Item - 1930 Art Deco, Cotton Wool?!
Up for auction is this lovely dressing table pot It is in really good condition overall. The silver mount shines up beautifully still The main body is glass and has a lovely rounded shape made up of numerous straightened sides- this adds a very decorative look and catches the light really well. The underside has a star shaped The top is silver and simply pushes on. This is in good condition- there are a few dents here and there but no splits. It is decorated with a gorgeous engined patterned which certainly adds a quality look to the item. As can be seen it has a hole in the centre- possibly for cotton wool? It has a full set of hallmarks on one side which are worn but I believe read London. 1930 and the maker"C&A" This pot measures 7.5cm in height and has a diameter of around 6cm. Lovely Art Deco Pink Frosted Glass Compote Up for Your Consideration! This piece has two nudes supporting the bowl. Each nude has some gold gilt accent detail that has rubbed off in areas. The condition otherwise is very good. No chips. It is possible this piece had a lid at one time. We are basing this description on the indentation at the rim. Please see the pictures.
