For sale is a beautiful set of antique brass bells which are linked together. These both have some etched design on the outside and the smaller one has a 2" metal sign on the outside. There is a 14" long chain on the top with a hook on the end which are both cast iron. I believe that this is from Turkey or another country in that area. This Iranian Persian-style vase is hand-made and hand-painted in flower motifs. Not as finely painted as some of the older Iznik pieces from old Persia. Yet an attractive and unusual decorative piece with some artistic merit. It has an unusual three-sided form. And has a very old-looking patina. The glaze is intact but rather crackled. At first glance, one would think it is a much older piece, but apparently these kinds of wares were and are still being made in Iran today. There appears to be the light remains of a printed mark to the base underside, please study my pictures It measures 8 inches high Condition; very good. There is a teeny chip to the top rim and to the base underside of the rim there are two further chips. There is light all over crazing Please use postage tab at the top of the description.
