A large tan terracotta standing figure of a ram. From Amlash(ancient Iran) ca. 8th-7th Century BC. The figure, with large protruding eyes, curved serrated horns, light manganese deposits over the entire body. Two vent holes in the front and one in the rear, traces of the original ivory colored paint on one of the rear haunches and one leg.
