Measuring 4" tall. This 19th. century Gaudy Welsh jug is in the desirable tartan pattern. Apart from a very old, very tight hairline,visible only from the inside, the jug is in excellent condition with no other damage An approx. P&P to a UK address would be £3.30. This jug has hexagonal panels showing transfer printed flowered panels and embossed decoration to the spout and lower part of the body and then highlighted with pink lustre. I have here for auction this large heavy Quart size Victorian flow blue and lustre jug decorated with embossed children under a copper lustre tree with birds nests in their hands somtimes attributed to Ynysmeudwy pottery near Swansea Wales. The jug is a large one and will hold over four pints. It's 9.25" tall to the top of the handle and 8" across to include the handle. The moulding is deep and crisp. The colours are good and strong,the lustre is in good condition. There is no damage,there is the usual expected age related crazing. A nice example. Please see my pictures.

Description: A Victorian Era. Copper lustre ware, Dresser Jug or water pitcher. Dark Copper Lustre ground finish with decoration by way of raised relief moulding covering the main body of the jug. The raised releif moulding decoration depicts'Dancing Ladies' The jug has a moulded. Decorative handle and has Blue pattern that runs around the upper rim portion of the jug's main body and underneath the pouring spout. Any questions- please ask! The glaze on this is extremely dark rather than a'treacle' brown. Antique Staffordshire pearlware jug, hand painted hunting scene & copper lustre
A remarkable survivor. This soft paste pottery jug probably dates to the early 19th century and is likely to have been produced in Staffordshire, England, judging by the style(similar pieces with this type of design can be found on antique websites and on Ebay) It features a hunting scene with men, dogs, horses and a deer, surrounded by leaf and floral motifs in browns, pinks and greens with copper lustre highlighting. The ground glaze is pearly off-white. Unfortunately, the jug's handle was broken during the 19th century but it has been lovingly repaired with staples and wire(please see the images above for further information) In addition to this historic repair, the jug has age-related wear to the decoration and crazing to the glaze on the exterior and interior. However, it remains an attractive piece and the repaired handle rather ... moreadds to its charm. The decoration is entirely hand-painted. There are no clear maker's marks to indicate exactly which factory made it but there does appear to be an indentation on the base which could be a maker's symbol of some sort. The jug measures 5.5 inches in height and 5 inches in diameter at the widest point. Further images can be supplied upon request: any questions gladly answered. THIS IS AN ANTIQUE 19thC HANDPAINTED GAUDY WELSH PINK LUSTRE FLOW BLUE MILK JUG IN THE COLLECTIBLE TULIP PATTERN AND IN A NICE SHAPE AND CONDITION. THE PATTERN IS BRIGHT AND VIBRANT WITH LITTLE IF ANY WEAR, THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS ETF. JUST MICRO AGE RELATED CRAZING(PLEASE STUDY IMAGES CAREFULLY TO GAUGE OVERALL CONDITION) THE JUG STANDS APPROX 5 1/4 INCHES TALL TO THE TOP OF THE HANDLE AND MEASURES APPROX 4 1/2 INCHES FROM THE LIP OF THE SPOUT TO THE REAR OF THE HANDLE. PRETTY VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE LARGE JUG LAVENDER & SILVER LUSTRE EMBOSSED
I have here for auction this large Victorian Staffordshire pottery jug. It's 8.25" tall and 6.75" across to include the handle. It has a lavender/ lilac textured background with embossed spring flowers which have silver highlights. The jug comes with a little crazing. Some glaze loss to handle where it has been hung on a hook,there is a little age related rubbing to the silver lustre. Nevertheless a pretty display jug. Please see my pictures.

Antique rare mulberry / plum transfer print lustre small jug
I know little about this small jug. It looks to be 1800s, it stands about 8cm tall there are no chips or cracks, there is some crazing to the spout which is slightly discoloured, there is a lustre to this jug and with the transfer looks to be a fake marble, it may be from staffordshire pottery im not really sure.
