Antique England c. 1880-1896 John Maddock Royal Vitreous Flower Lidded Soap Dish
Signed John Maddock& Sons Royal Vitreous England. Hallmark is c. 1880-1896 after 1896 Ltd. was added. This is a wonderful and beautiful lidded soap dish. Same design on each side but one side flowers are a pale blue the other pale pink. A little gold wear on the handle. A bit of discoloration on the inside but really not much. One spot on the lid lip that I thought looked like a chip but it still looks glazed so it may have been made that way. It doesn't feel rough to the touch. All of the issues are very minor and do not detract from the beauty of this piece. Dish measures 6 1/2" long, 5" wide, 2" tall without the lid. Thanks for looking.

Antique Ironstone Banded Soap Dish Green & Brown Stripes Shabby Meets Preppy
This antique soap dish is made of heavy ironstone and has green and brown bands around the rim. It has aged beautifully. With overall crazing and age discoloration under the glaze that has turned the color to a creamy white/light ivory. As shown. There are numerous glaze pops below the rim and a spot of missed glaze on the rim as shown in closeup. There is wear to the bright spring green and reddish brown bands around the rim, but the dish has no chips or cracks. This would look great on top of a gentleman's dresser to hold keys, spare change, or cufflinks.

Antique Covered Toothbrush Holder, Razor Box or Soap Dish 19th Century
I bought this in Germany in the 70s. It works quite well for storing things in a bathroom. I am trying to downsize and do not have a spot for it. The covered dish measures about 9 inches long and 3 inches wide. There are a few hairline cracks inside the cover(see pictures#5& 6) I had just washed the top so you could see them since it was damp. Normally they are hardly visible and you cannot see them from the top of the cover. Also you can see some crazing inside. These too are not visible on the top. Would go well with an antique or primitive theme!

Rare Antique Ironstone China Warranted- Ivory Colored Soap Dish Dated to 1814-1837! Up for auction is a antique soap dish dating to 1814- 1837! The British Royal Arms. An oval shield divided into quadrants and flanked by a lion and a unicorn, was in use from 1801 to 1837. From 1801 to 1814, the shield had a cap over it. The cap was changed to a crown from 1814 to 1837. The soap dish is good antique condition and has very little staining and still has a nice luster to it. There are 3 small chips around the upper rim and one very small one by one of the drainage holes. There is also a crack. If you can call it that, on the upper rim– it almost seams like it as repaired itself over the years because it is very smooth to the touch and does not affect its durability. The color is white-ivory and there are 8 small and I large drainage holes on ... morethe top and 1 large on the side. Antique Soap Dish Cover Toothbrush Holder Elk Rutland RARE F.J. Emery Burslem
This auction is for a great rare find. A toothbrush holder and soap dish cover over 120 years old with no cracks or chips(only crazing) These pieces were made by F.J. Emery of Burslem, England in the Churchyard Works, the same factory where Josiah Wedgwood learned his trade near Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire. The toothbrush holder measures 4-7/8" tall with a diameter of 3-1/8" at base. The soap dish cover measures 4-1/4" in diameter and approximately 2" inches tall. Emery produced his wares of semi-porcelain transfer-ware during the short period between 1878 to 1893. He was apparently famous locally for his special coloring techniques. This pattern. Rutland, was reportedly produced from 1878 to 1891, a fact that I have not verified. In any case, these items are few and in this condition, RARE. The pattern portrays a ... moreregal looking Elk framed in a circle with plants, flowers and borders in a mulberry red color transfer. Bungalow and old-house restorationists: Here are authentic wall-mounted soap dish and toothbrush/cup holder made of heavy white ceramic. Soap dish has a very minor chip at bottom of front edge. These mount on the wall via a metal bracket that is screwed to the wall. And then the ceramic piece slides down onto the bracket. Such a bracket is easily made from a piece of sheet metal. Origin unknown, look to be 1920s-era. Very simple styling goes with any decor, really. Soap dish is 5-1/4 inches wide and sticks out from the wall 3-1/2 inches. Toothbrush holder has room for 6 brushes and a drinking cup. Measures 4-1/2 inches wide and sticks out from the wall 3-1/2 inches. It has a chip to the underside of the lid. Some gold paint loss, a small glaze chip, two short hairlines(one can be seen to the inner rim side the other can be seen on the exterior rim side) and the inside has light discoloration. The piece that goes inside has a mfg. small slit in the pottery that was not a resault from damage. This piece measures 4" High 4 1/4" diameter and is 2 5/8" High without the lid. Insurance. Vintage/Antique Victorian Mercer China Covered Soap Dish
FROM AN UPSTATE NEW YORK ESTATE WE HAVE A VINTAGE ANTIQUE 3PC VICTORIAN COVERED SOAP DISH FROM MERCER CHINA Up for bidding. covered soap dish that is approx 3" tall by 5 1/2" in diameter. Marked on the bottom Mercer China Est 1865 in a circle Hallmark.Green in color. The piece is decorated on both the rim of the bottom bowl as well as along the top of the cover with a gold accented flowered victorian design. The colors are great.There are lavenderish blue. Turquiose blue, pink, and reddish/orange colors in the pattern. This covered soap dish consists of three pieces: lid cover, drain plate insert& bowl. This piece is in great condition with no cracks chips or repairs to either the lid or the bowl. The drain piece which resembles a flower frog has a section around the edge about 1 1/2" long where it is damaged. It is just ... moreslightly chipped(not deep) and hardly shows. I am not sure which way the piece is supposed to sit in the dish but one way it would not show at all.The piece has a lot of crazing and the bottom bowl is darker than the top. When the top is in place the difference in color is not nearly as noticeable. It has a great antique look to it. It is old and shows age.this is not a piece that looks new out of the box by any means.But it is all age appropriate and in solid condition. All 3 pieces are marked W. M. Co Semi Porcelain in an octagon shape. All have tape with a name too that I did not remove. Pitcher, mug& soap dish base have crazing but no damage- lid has 2 small nicks on edge and insert has chip as shown. Pretty pink antique covered soap dish with drainer. Estb. 1844 The Goodwin Pottery Company Semi Porcelain stamped on the bottom. 2" high and 4 3/4" in diameter with the lid off and 3 1/2" high with the lid on. The lid is 5 1/2" in diameter. There is some crazing. A chip on the lid handle and on the edge of the lid. Also some uneveness in the color and a crack on the inside of the lid which is more noticable on the inside. There is crazing and some stains on the bottom of the drainer.

Antique English White Ironstone Covered Soap Dish in the Ring and Cable Shape by J& G Meakin 1875-1890. 3 3/4" High x 6" Wide x 4 1/4" Deep. The condition of this covered soap dish is very good. It has a glassy glaze and no crazing. There is no damage. Only a little line where the handle attaches to the cover. But ~ this is in the making. There is a drainer inside. Although it fits well, it is a slightly different color and has crazing. So. I think it was added and not original ~ but, it works.

Antique Porcelain Soap Dish with Lid and Slotted Insert White & Blue Pattern
Antique Soap Dish Cream color with Blue leaves& berries. Approximately 5 1/2" wide and 4" tall including handle on lid. Insert with drainage holes. Lid with Handle There is major discoloration but I think this adds to its age and beauty. There are a couple small chips and a crack in the base. The lid does not have any cracks or chips. There are spiderwebs but below the glaze. Please see photos. I have the matching water pitcher listed as well. If you win both. Henry Keep Home Watertown NY Antique Porcelain Soap Dish New York Adirondack NR
This is a wonderful porcelain antique soap dish from Watertown NY. It has a tiny imperfection on one corner of the base that appears to be a glaze skip or nick. No other damage. The dish measures 4.5" by 3.75" and is 1" high. The top-mark is red. The Henry Keep Home was a Gothic style mansion built in 1879 on in. The house was built as a rest home for Watertown's aged population. The Keep Home's main benefactor was Emma Keep-Schley. Who(along with Rosewell, George and Anson Flower) dedicated the home to her late husband. A modern facility. Known as the Samaritan Keep Home, was built next of the mansion in 1972. The mansion was demolished. The Henry Keep Apartment Complex was then built on this site soon after.

Beautiful Antique/Vintage Ross pattern 3 piece Soap Dish/Drainer. Made by Losol Ware Keeling& Co. Burslem England early 1900's. Beautiful bright. Vibrant colors. This is one of the prettiest patterns of Losol Ware. Beautiful floral with bird and butterflies! Main color white, with a blue patterm trim. Very good condition shows normal wear for its age. Antique sponge soap 2 pc porcelain dish knight horse C Poland
For your consideration is an antique sponge or soap dish. This is a 2 piece dish with the top lifting off. The top has the holes in it for drainage. The bottom has 2 handles. One side has what looks like a knight on a horse with a column like from Rome. The other shows the knight with horse possibly defeating the enemy. The piece is a light orange with black and white decorations and a deep orange on the rims. It does have some age wear with some loss of paint mostly on the inside of the handles. It is hand painted and does show some wear. It is marked on the bottom with C. poland and 4403 and an empressed C. It also has what looks like some sort of sticker. But cannot read it. Looks like GIN at the end. It measures 4 3/4" in diameter on the top and 5 1/2" from handle to handle. It stands 3" tall. This is an old piece and therefore ... moreyou will see some age wear.
