The glass is 4 inches tall and 2 1/8 inches wide at the rim. Often called a bucket wine, it has an angle knop. The glass is in excellent condition. It is clean and clear with no damage whatsoever and just the right amount of wear for its age. It has an open pontil. What is an open pontil? Early blown glass was attached to a pontil rod that the blower used to hold the glass while forming it. When he was done he would break off the rod leaving a pontil scar on the bottom of the piece. This pontil scar. Sometimes very sharp, generally indicates a piece made before 1850. I will cover the cost of first class shipping to the US on this glass. Faceted cut cup and a stem with 2 sturdy colars, on a plain foot with polished-out pontil heights between: 12.1- 12,5 cm/ circa 4.8 inch weight together: 1676 gr. these 200 year old glasses are blown on the pipe.
