What I do know is that this is a very nice example of an early 1900's wooden flute. It has eight keys and six open holes. It is makers marked and seems to be made of black wood and it has a brass lined headpiece that seems to be Bakelite! so if Bakelite it was after 1910 and since it is marked"Austria" it is before 1919 in WWI when Austria became part of Czechoslovakia. It is a Low Pitch instrument so it tunes to the modern A=440. The flute is marked: L.P. V. KOHLERT SONS GRACSLITZ AUSTRIA D. 2669 The case is in great condition with the original key and bore swab. I tell you now that even a trombone player can get a pretty good sound out of it! CONDITION:Good condition for its' age. Needs CLA- Cleaning Lubrication and adjustment. Pads may need replacement and there is one crack in the Headpiece barrel that you can see in the pictures. The crack does not seem to leak when I tested it. Probably due to the brass lining of the headstock and barrel. Also the headpiece itself seems to be loose at each end so the silver rings are loose. TWO 1850 Antique Wine Champagne Flutes Funnel Bowl Victorian
Two similar wine champagne flutes. Made about 1850. In England. Both are cut with basal broad flutes(those are the lines at the bottom two thirds of the bowl) One is taller at 7 inches in height with a knops, diameter of top opening is just over 2 inches. The other is 6.3 inches tall, the opening is 2.3 inches. Both were bought in England during WW2 at Estate sales.

Antique Anglo-Irish Panel Cut Champagne Flutes Flint Glass
From a large collection of EAPG and flint glass. We have these wonderful stems. The collection was mostly of a single pattern, with some interesting additions and excursions. It had mostly been assembled between the 1950s and the 1970s. We have a set of Anglo-Irish flint glass flute champagnes The have a blade knop stem and have been panel-cut around the bottom half of the bowls. Polished pontil on the foot. Rims fire-polished. They date to between 1820-40. Size: They're 6.5" tall. 2.375" at the top and 2.75" in diameter at the foot. Condition: acceptable wear to the bottom of each foot(without the amount of wear. I would question them) some rice-grain shaped seed bubbles in the glass. Otherwise fine, no chips, nicks cracks or repairs. There some minor variations in height.
