Vintage/Antique Green Ribbed Flint Glass Footed Cordial or Wine 18-19th Century
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction a rare antique ribbed flint glass footed cordial or wine glass in a lovely green color, not quite olive, and not quite emerald colored. The glass rings like a bell when tapped, a very high quality glass. It's either a late 18th or early 19th century glass, and there are some iron oxide and bubble inclusions in the glass. Overall the condition is great considering it's age, there is one small flea bite on the edge or rim of the foot, and the base rim has expected shelf wear, there are no other issues, damage or stains. It measures just about 4 7/8" tall, and the pontil mark is rough and sharp. The ebay message system allows me to send photos now, so feel free to ask any questions, ask for more pictures of it and enjoy the bidding in this no reserve auction. Please ask any and all ... morequestions before bidding and the auctions closing. Good communication is key to us all having a great experience, buying and selling. These items that I will be selling are all either vintage or used, so they're not usually like new and they're sold"as is" Bid retractions are fine but there will be no partial refunds or discounts given for"not as described" items after the auctions closing. I list lots of photos and the item is or will be described to the absolute best of my ability, I can also send more photos thru the eBay message system if asked. I will be glad to answer any questions that you might have in a very timely manner. Refunds are not and will never be applied until the item has been validated as returned. In the case that an item is returned, the buyer will pay the appropriate return postage and insurance with delivery confirmation, so please bid accordingly. Vintage things and antiques are a passion for me and I hope that you will share my enthusiasm for what I list. Let's have fun and not have any regrets or buyers remorse. I strive for 5 star detailed seller ratings. And I appreciate contact from my buyers to discuss any and all i

This is a lovely Antique 19th Century Set of 8 Stemmed Crystal 6 Oz. Wine Glasses that belonged to my Great Grandmother 7 of which are in Perfect Mint Condition. The glasses have been in storage and unused for decades and look as beautiful as the day they were manufactured. They are absolutely gorgeous(please see photos) You can see bubbles in the glass from 19th Century manufacture and they have a nice ring sound to them when tapped with the finger nail. Each glass is lightly etched with a simple elegant Vine and Leaf running 5/8” below and around the rim. The glasses are crystal clear with no chips. Cracks, nicks, discoloration, stains or scratches. One has an ever so tiny nick to the rim which is small it is difficult to find; the other 7 glasses are in perfect mint condition. Each glass holds 6 oz. and measures 6-3/8” high by 3” across ... morethe rim gracefully narrowing to where it meets the stem which extends to the 2-3/8” diameter base. 6 19th Century Antique Pittsburgh Blown Cut Flint Glass Crystal Large Goblets
This listing is for a set of six large antique cut flint glass goblets. they are typical Pittsburgh type. Probably from Pittsburgh or New England circa 2nd or 3rd quarter 19th Century by Bakewell, or Sandwich, etc. They are blown in three pieces. each bowl is panel cut at the base, then has a horizontal band below unpolished"blazes" The stems are panel cut, and the underside of the feet are cut in unpolished rays. the underside of the feet are deeply hollow ground and polished to eliminate pontils. The wide hollow-grind reaches the inner edge of the rays. Swirled bubbles are visible at the stem connection from beneath. The glass is very clear, and has few small white inclusions. The uncut portions show striations. The goblets are relatively uniform in size, and measure approx. 5.5"+ tall, 4"+ across the top, and 3.5" ... moreacross the base. They are very heavy averaging about 20 oz. each. Excellent condition with little to no wear, and no damage. One has rough overcuts(from the panel cutting on the stem) at the base of the stem that were not polished out. They all ring like a bell, and reverberate for a long time. I imagine their excellent condition is from lack of use from their ungainly size and weight. I have never seen a set in such good condition! Email with any questions, and check out our other listings!

Rare 19th Century Etched Roemer Rhine Wine Glasses from France, Set of 3
For auction is a set of 3 Roemer Rhine wine glasses from an estate in the Jura region of France. The family acquired them sometime in the mid to late 1800’s. They may actually be older. When France started making glasses like these. The combination of forest potash and sand that contained iron impurities gave them their green color and was referred to as Forest Glass. The early ones. Like these, were entirely green. Over time. Wine snobs insisted the bowl should be clear to show off the color of the wine inside. France had a strong influence in the design of these glasses. Especially in the Alsace region, which is just across the Rhine from Germany. They are meant for quaffing Riesling and Gewürtztraminer. All of the current descriptions I’ve read on eBay say they are made of blown glass. But I would bet these are crystal(the bowl, not ... morethe stem) because they give a lovely ring when you tap them. But I’m not a glass expert. Speaking of lovely: The photos don’t do justice to the green color of this set. It’s quite rich without being too dark. There’s also a delicate floral design etched around the bowl. Each glass is 5-1/8 th inches tall. The bowls are 2 inches in diameter(as measured across the rim) their bases are 2.75” in diameter. Condition: Two of the glasses are in superb condition. Which is amazing considering their age. The third glass has the tiniest of little flaws: there’s a speck of a rough spot along the rim. I had to take over a dozen photographs with my Nikon D40 in order to capture it(see last photo) Okay. As the Baron de Rothschild once said” Taisez-vous et buvez! Shut up and drink! SHIPPING: U.S. Parcel Select based on 2.5 pounds from zip code 94112. I’m adding $3.00 to cover the cost of insurance. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Early 19th Century Antique Dutch German Roemer Goblet w/ 8 Prunts Cobalt Blue
A great antique roemer from the early nineteenth century. Dutch or German in origin. Deep bluish-green to cobalt in color. Stands 4 1/2" tall by 2 1/2' across at its widest. A total of eight prunts surround the base. The glass is hand-blown with prunt on the bottom being rough. This glass is in great condition with no chips or cracks. There was a good deal of water/ lime residue in the bottom when I purchased it but I was able to remove most of this. There is still a narrow band of water residue encircling the inner lip of the goblet. But someone who knows more about cleaning glass could probably remove even more of it. These early roemers are increasingly hard to come by. Especially in such wonderful condition! Please see all images and email me with any questions.

ANTIQUE 19th Century Ruby BOHEMIAN Bavarian ART GLASS engraved GOBLET Wedding
Almost 8 inches tall and heavy- 1 lb 4 ozs. with hand engraved etched images and script for"Luck" Gluck" Health" Gesundheit" and"Joy to Cheer You" u Freude erheitre Dich" a sumptuous goblet for toasting a wedding or any event! This is a beautifully rendered hand made antique goblet in very, very good condition. The only real flaws seem to be those inherent upon its creation in the glass- all edges are smooth to the touch but for one truly miniscule- the size of the point of a needle- on the top rim. Hand etching is in evidence by some slight unevenness in etching of the borders. The only wear is scratching on the bottom from movement on a shelf- PLEASE CLICK ON MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MORE THINGS YOU WILL LIKELY LOVE- THANK YOU!
