Vintage/Antique Green Ribbed Flint Glass Footed Cordial or Wine 18-19th Century
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction a rare antique ribbed flint glass footed cordial or wine glass in a lovely green color, not quite olive, and not quite emerald colored. The glass rings like a bell when tapped, a very high quality glass. It's either a late 18th or early 19th century glass, and there are some iron oxide and bubble inclusions in the glass. Overall the condition is great considering it's age, there is one small flea bite on the edge or rim of the foot, and the base rim has expected shelf wear, there are no other issues, damage or stains. It measures just about 4 7/8" tall, and the pontil mark is rough and sharp. The ebay message system allows me to send photos now, so feel free to ask any questions, ask for more pictures of it and enjoy the bidding in this no reserve auction. Please ask any and all ... morequestions before bidding and the auctions closing. Good communication is key to us all having a great experience, buying and selling. These items that I will be selling are all either vintage or used, so they're not usually like new and they're sold"as is" Bid retractions are fine but there will be no partial refunds or discounts given for"not as described" items after the auctions closing. I list lots of photos and the item is or will be described to the absolute best of my ability, I can also send more photos thru the eBay message system if asked. I will be glad to answer any questions that you might have in a very timely manner. Refunds are not and will never be applied until the item has been validated as returned. In the case that an item is returned, the buyer will pay the appropriate return postage and insurance with delivery confirmation, so please bid accordingly. Vintage things and antiques are a passion for me and I hope that you will share my enthusiasm for what I list. Let's have fun and not have any regrets or buyers remorse. Antique ? Flint Glass or Crystal Stemware Wine Glass RIngs like a bell
I am not sure when this item was made. It rings more like a bell than contemporary Waterford. I know this. Because my mom has legitimate Waterford and I compared the two when I was home a while back. It has a pontil. I have detected one tee-niny nick on the inside of the actual cup of the item. There is a little base wear, but you have to look close. There is one sizable bubble in the foot of the item. And there are circular lines near the top of the cup opening, like tooling marks on old blown glass bottles. Other than this, it's either mint, or pretty close. I must add a disclaimer. Please let me know if you have any questions! Check out my other items! I do not combine shipping. Shipping includes handling. Thanks for looking! Have a wonderful day!

Antique c1790 PA. German Blown Flint Wine Engraved Glass Button Stem Lily Flower
Antique Pennsylvania German Early Blown Flint Wine Glass c.1790 Possibly Made by Amelung DESCRIPTION A very early Pennsylvania German blown flint wine glass with fine engraving. We think the letters are Süsfinunn Above this inscription there is fine wheel engraving of tiny Lily of the Valley Flowers all around the exterior of the bowl. Perhaps made by Amelung or any one of the many early glass houses in Pennsylvania at the time. Handsomely tooled button stem and a very thick base.
