Antique Early 19th C. Georgian Blown Cut Glass Double Knop Stem Dram Wine Flute
This listing is for a late 18th or early 19th Century dram drinking glass. It is blown of clear non leaded glass. And has a very slight pink tint, and tight horizontal striations. It has flute cutting on the bowl, and a double, annulated knop stem. The foot is slightly domed, and has a polished pontil. The vessel is 4.6" tall, and 2.5" across the top and foot. It is a beautiful piece, and one of the most attractive stems I've owned. Excellent condition. Email with any questions, and check out our antique Georgian decanter!

All of these glasses are handblown. Each glass is a polished pontil mark on the base. The point where the crystal stem would have attached to the glass blowers pipe. These pieces were made in the second half of the 1800s through the 1920s. They are definitely crystal and not glass. The geometric carving along the top band is of superb quality and quite deep. Each glass is engraved with a large C monogram. Imagine what would cost today to have a glass finely engraved with a monogram. These pieces are probably French or English. They have simply the best quality ring/tone you can imagine. They are the quality of Baccarat or St. Louis ... moreor Webb's best work. Better than almost anything you can buy today. The condition is superb. One glass has a small chip on the base. This could easily be filed or smoothed down. Otherwise there are no chips. Antique Pair Blown GLASS Stemware Wine& Flat Cordial w Etched/Cut"B" Monogram Up for sale is a lovely pair of antique hand blown wine stemware glass and matching flat cut bottom cordial shot glass. Both are decorated with etched and cut shields with a"B" monogram or insignia. The wine glass is 4.75" tall and a little over 2" in diameter at the lip. The photos of the photo show clues to the piece being hand made but it slight imperfections. As in photos#9 and 10 the cut bottom of the 1.75" tall cordial cup has a little fleabite nick on the edge-very minor. But otherwise these glasses are in excellent condition. I purchased these at an estate auction and am uncertain of their age or origin My guess is they are at least 19th century if not older. Measures approx. 4-1/2" high. 2-1/8" across the top and 2-1/4" across the base. Hand-blown of rather heavy clear flint glass with a few small bubbles, a ground and polished base, and a nice tinkly flinty ring when tapped. Bowl is decorated with eight cut and polished panels. There is one tiny flea-bite nick on inside edge of lip, NO other damage or problems. A good early one, probably 1830-1840 vintage. This listing is for a set of ten early 19th Century antique blown and cut Pittsburgh type flint ale glasses from either the Midwest(Pittsburgh) or New England. The bowls are 6-panel cut and terminate into a wafer knop atop a baluster stem. The underside of the feet are concave ground and polished. The glasses vary a bit in dimension. But measure roughly 7 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" across the top, and 3" across the base. The glasses are in very good condition. Two have small chips to the knop, otherwise a few fleabites/nicks(and small misc. as-made inclusions, bubbles, striations, etc. here and there- but on average very clean. Last photos show the worst issues. Please ignore close-up lens distortion that makes the goblets appear crooked in a few shots. Each flute rings nicely when tapped. All previously owned examples of glassware will take on imperfections that were evident at the very moment that it was sold as new and hand made glassware will always have imperfections in the glass such as small seeds or blisters, even bubbles. A common-sense approach to grading condition is to trust the seller and be kind. I would only buy from sellers with a returns policy. The main feature of any piece of glass is the fine work and engraving. Do not discard a piece for reasons of imperfection. Truly antique glass is harder and harder to find over time. Vintage Cordial Wine Stemware, Amber Blown Cut Etched Engraved, EUC
This beautiful glass is 4-1/2" tall. The bowl is etched with vines. Leaves and grapes. I believe the cutting on the glass is called honeycomb. There is a knop in the stem. It looks to be of two piece construction(see picture of stem and base) It has a rough pontil. There are no chips, cracks or cloudiness. Late Georgian Knop-Stem Blown and Cut Flint Wine 1810-1830
This is either a Wine or a Dram Glass. Most likely a wine. It is from the late Georgian period which is also referred to as the Regency Period(1810-1830) It features a Conical Foot with polished Pontil. The stem has an Annular or Blade Knop. The bowl is a circular cup shape. The design is cut and features a Diamond Band between Horizontal Prisms above 10 cut Basal Flutes. The glass is 3.25 inches tall and the foot and bowl openings are both 2 inches in diameter. Please review the photos carefully since they are part of the description. Please keep in mind that you are bidding on used and vintage items. We will disclose any damage or defect that is not consistent with what should be expected with normal wear. 18th-19th C Blown Crystal Glass Stiegel Type Engraved Etched Cut Wine Goblet
Available for auction is a very old. Hand blown goblet with vine& leaf motif and other decorative cuttings. It is made from a single piece of glass with a cut rim and no pontil mark on the foot. The foot of the glass is not uniformly shaped. I believe this crystal, possibly rock, because it rings like a bell when tapped. It likely dates to late 18th century or early 19th century, but I am not an expert. It hold 12 ounces and stands 6 1/4" inches in height.
