1820s English Georgian Bristol Glass Green Footed Bowl Vase NR
Fresh from an estate near Gettysburg. PA, I am pleased to offer what I believe is a lovely example of 1820s English Bristol glass. This footed bowl is hand-blown with an amazing pontil mark on the bottom and has many signs of being handmade including bubbles and some swirling in the glass. It is a unique green color typical of this early English glass(particularly wine glasses) It measures approximately 7.5" tall and 6" in diameter at the top. There are no chips or cracks, but there is wear on the bottom where it has worn from being on the table or cupboard for many years(see pics) Please note I ship only within the continental USA. Check out my other auctions if you like neat old things from the Mid-Atlantic region. Thank you.
