The sleeves are with large lavender cuffs skillfully woven in pattern and embroidered with birds. Flowers, and butterflies. This is a very UNIQUE and RARE ITEM. That came from a collector of finer things. Made by Sumer and comes with box. It is a bolo tie and tips. Made of 22k solid gold by Sumer(Marked on reverse) The tips have stones set in them that appear to be rubies. The bolo has 46 mili-sized genuine diamonds set all around the border. The center of the bolo is a RARE Drachma coin from the Byzantine period of Alexander The Great. This item weighs APPROXIMATELY: 40 grams for the center piece. And measures: 1 5/8" diameter. 3/8" wide. Tips: APX weight is 5 grams each. 1 1/4" long, and the cord is: 38" long. Really a very BEAUTIFUL. Unique item.

Hello. And thanks for checking out the auction! This item is rare commemorative plate given to an ex-Captain in the US Navy from the Fleet Command of the Turkish Navy. I'm not sure what the"T.C. Dz.K.K. refers to. But"Donanma Komutanligi" is the Turkish Fleet Command of their Naval force. I don't have a reference date for it, but he served in the 1970s, and it was manufactured by YPS Sumer Bank/Turkmali. The plate is in nice condition with only minor wear to the decorative border in a couple of small areas. There are holes in the back to affix a wire should you choose to hang it that way.
