It measures 10-1/2" long x 4-3/4" wide x 6-1/4" tall. It features small dimensions noted above. Boot jack cut-out legs that are attached to the top with heavily oxidized nails, and double 2" deep aprons. This old stool shows wear in all the right places including missing slivers of wood and tight surface separations. But remains in very good structural condition. The legs are tight to the top, and it sits level on any flat surface. Traces of old green paint can be seen under the top. A nice old stool with a unique size and great form! Up for sale is a gorgeous solid cherry wood lectern. This was owned by a great aunt and is estimated to be from the 50s or 60s or so. The lectern features two brass handles and a roller at each base as shown in photos 7 and 8. Quite ornate and a very attractive piece. This unit is perfect for schools. Churches, seminars, libraries, etc. It measures approximately 32' from bottom to top of high side and 29' from bottom to top of low side, about 17' x 22.5' The bookshelf space is roughly 13.5' x 19.5' About 30 pounds. Description Sensational one-of-a-kind art deco revival room or wall screen. The likes of which I nor you will you ever see again( unless you buy it of course; This incredible and massive piece was a commission by a veeeeeerrrrryyyy large and important Dallas estate( this estate made J.R. Ewing look like a pauper) sometime back in the early 80's, and is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Sadly, the artist did not sign it anywhere that I can find so it remains a mystery, but the screen is an ethereal fantasy of a stylized wooded forest among which roams a small family of deer. The technique the artist used is wonderful, looking similar to the way cloisonne is made by laying a design of wire all over a vessel and then pouring the enamel into the spaces and over the wire to create an uninterrupted surface. I have no idea ... morehow this was done but the effect does resemble enamel. The colors are incredible and dreamy colors of blues and greens touched with a silverlight in places, utterly enchanting. Again, I have never seen one like it and it is one of the most beautiul things I've ever owned. I'll be sorry the day it sells, and not sorry at all if it doesn't! Made in Europe Circa 1960 Globe bar Globe spins Fitted bar section Ice bucket and tongs Casters Three spots of wear(pictured) This unique antique globe bar flips open to reveal a wonderful bar area. Recently purchase in Holland and imported to our Atlanta antique furniture store. It is a hard to find piece! This globe is decorated with many wonderful and unique decorations. Although we feel the piece was made around 1960 the map and other decorations appear to be copies of much older works of art. There are also paintings inside the globe. On the rim, ... moreand on the stretcher base. The entire piece is made from walnut wood and is quite sturdy. The four legs sit on casters for easier moving. The top and bottom halves of the globe do spin like a normal globe would. The interior of the globe is fitted as a bar. It comes with a small ice bucket that has tongs inside. The rest of the area is fitted and shaped to house bottles and glasses. The interior space is about 18.5″ in diameter. Overall his antique globe bar is in very good condition. It has three spots where the paint has been worn/chipped and all three of these spots are shown in the photos. Otherwise the piece is in great condition. Sturdy and ready for everyday use. This original MISSION OAK 3 panel screen has been part of my life. For my entire life! I am 66 years old, and my nana had this upstairs with an old quilt as the panels. Later in life, when nana had went home at the age 101 years old, the screen was part of the house. I put new dowels in it about 18 years ago, and just always, had it as you see it now, with sheer curtains on the dowels. I now find myself in much smaller surroundings. And can not find room for the old room divider. If it could tell stories. But sadly, it has to find a new home. Maybe with someone doing a mission oak bedroom or living room, or, a shabby and chic room. All that has to be done, is for you to change out the curtain panel I have in it. VTG ANTIQUE CALIFORNIA HAND PAINTED MONTEREY CATALINA STYLE 4 PIECE BEDROOM SET
This well-cared-for California Mission style hand-painted dresser. Was purchased from a high-end antique shop in Sacramento, CA in 1990. It has since graced one of the guestrooms and has only been used a few times, so it is in just beautiful vintage condition. The tag from the antique store is still on the back of the mirror and it says"Monterey Bedroom Set" That is the only marking or signage I can find on any of the furniture. It is all made out of pine(with a light secondary wood inside the drawers) so is fairly light weight, and shows the wonderful knots and grain of the pine wood. The hand painting and carving is just charming, in muted greens, yellows, and coral. the handles on the dresser are carved wood and the apron of the dresser has beautiful detail as does the dress top and all the pieces really. I love the beige, blonde, ... morelight tan wood stain. There are very few nicks and scratches, it is almost vintage pristine. The back of the dresser shows some water stains. I don't know what this is from, as it was there when I bought it and doesn't show as the back is against the wall. This set includes the headboard(I have it on a queen bed at this time, but it was org. made for a full; but can also be used on a queen) the headboard is currently secured to the wall with two screws. If you want to buy rails for it, the slots are there. There are even queen conversion metal frames that you can buy. The mattress and bedding is not included in the sale. What is included with the headboard, is the amazing dresser, the stool/sidetable, and the beautifully handpainted mirror. I know you will love this set! ANTIQUE ARCHITECTURAL BED FRAME FIREPLACE SCREEN DIVIDER CARVED WOOD DRAGONS
We are pleased to offer this very unique. Architectural salvaged daybed frame. This old(mid to late 1800s) 2 section piece would make a beautiful and interesting fireplace screen, room divider, wall hanging or accent floor piece. It is very nice with a tall plant behind it. It is a constructed of solid wood(oak? panels with a carved, arched top section. The ends of each upper frame feature VERY DETAILED, carved wood, dragon heads. The heads have carved eyes, ears, nostrils and large incisor teeth/fangs. The two panels were, at one time, painted. There is some remaining OLD paint but most of it has worn and the wood is a natural color in these areas. The panels are footed. Because they were side or back feet, they they have a"sliced" profile. The original bolts, attachment lock, brackets and hinges are still in place but could be ... moreremoved. The unit is in good condition. There is some wear to the carved dragons, particularly to the ears as a couple of them have chipped. This is not distracting. This is a gorgeous piece. We have the matching unit available under a separate listing. It is the same except that it has one front"whole" foot. The piece can be displayed with a straight profile or it can be positioned as an"L" shape. The hinges(which are hidden in between the panels) allow for the unit to be folded. The frame measures 49" wide and 27" tall. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. Shipping via GREYHOUND with insurance provided for you.
