The majority of the signs that were found were in poor condition with paint loss. However the Saunder’s Corner Country Department Store Sign in this sale was one of the only ones that was still in very good condition. This sign advertised for Mission Furniture and depicts an Art& Crafts chair table and lamp. There is some wear to the paint in the upper right hand corner but that’s it. Painted on flexible galvanized steel this early 20th century sign measures 12” wide by 36” tall. The last owner properly framed this sign under glass. Listed without any reserve. This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. It's big! It's beautiful! And as you can tell from all the descriptive terms in the listing title. I'm not sure of the exact age and style. I ran out of room in the description or I would have added European and Jugendstihl to the mix. We have had it for 5-6 years and it came from an estate, so we couldn't get any history about it. We never worried much about exactly what it's pedigree was, because it was such a great piece. It does have areas that could use restoration and I've got about half a gig of pictures that show all in great detail. I can email you additional photos. The upper cabinet has three doors with glass and the center glass has that very pretty arts and crafts design. There are lighter wood inlay designs in the bottom of the two outer doors. The upper cabinet has a removable shelf. The counter top ... moreis a piece of marble. It is in one piece but there is a fracture line running diagonal that's hard to see in the photo, which might be a natural part of the grain. Below the counter and above the two drawers is a slide out extension. The two drawers below it are nice and roomy. The two big doors on the bottom open to a huge interior storage area that has a shelf dividing it into upper and lower areas. The front has the lighter wood designs on the doors and the curved portion of the front facing portion of the sides. The additional pictures I have show the details so much better. Perfect pair of Niloak Misson Swirl Candlesticks. Which are very rare! I am selling these for my grandpa. He said that they have owned them for years and is not sure when they were purchased. From what I have found on-line they are from they 1910-1920's hand thrown art pottery with the colors coming from the clay. They are so beautiful! Featured in this auction is a really beautiful. Vintage Camark flower vase. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. This piece is identified as shape#411, a paneled vase with carved"ornaments" on two sides that extend down to the base. It is 4-1/4" tall, 2-1/2" wide at the base and about 4-1/2" wide at the shoulder. The base of the pottery is stamped CAMARK with the"1st block letter" impressed die stamp. This stamp dates the piece from the late 1920's to the early 1930's. The base was also ground to level the piece. The vase has a beautiful arts and crafts form with the art deco decoration and multiple panels encircling it. This thick, gorgeous glaze is a matte rose color that has curdled on parts of the vase, including inside the rim, giving it a soft ... moreglow. This is a fabulous piece from the arts and crafts era. There is also evidence of glaze pinholes, miniscule dimples and interior scratches, but it is still relatively clean. Check out all 8 photos! Which could fit into everything from Mid-Century Modern, to Art Deco, and even Arts and Crafts(Mission) decor schemes. Size: 3" tall. 5" wide at center diameter, 2-¾" top opening. About the IVORY pattern: Ivory was introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1932. The early pieces(until 1935) had only paper or foil labels(often lost) as identification. Pieces are generally Art Deco and in Matte Ivory. You will see resemblances to other Roseville patterns. However Ivory pieces were simplified for the more modern era. Later pieces will have the die-stamped Roseville marking. This is an early Ivory piece. Whose paper/foil label is long gone.

Antique c1900s Arts & Crafts Mission Fumed Oak / Ebony Picture Frame w Art Print
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1900- 1915 Arts& Crafts dark quarter sawn fumed oak with ebonized outer margin 16-1/4" x 32-1/2" picture frame with lovely original print. The print is the original to the frame and has never been removed- I can not see any markings to indicate the name of the print nor the artist or publisher and do not want to take it out of the frame. The frame is in Very Nice Original Condition- the outer margin is ebonized and has a grooved or furrowed designs. The wood is quarter sawn oak and has a wonderful somewhat dark orig stain. It is in great shape- no damages and wear is light. There are a couple of small areas on the ebony outer frame that have light smudges in the finish from a drip of white paint. This is hard to notice and quite trivial, easily darkened if you would so choose. The ... moreback is original but the protective dust cover thin paper covering is missing. The print may very well be signed but it would be beneath the visible area and I do not want to remove the print from the frame. It is in Excellent Condition- no damages- looks great but was hard to photograph. The print itself measures approx 9-1/2" x 25-1/2" The glass is clear and Is of course original to the frame and print- no damages. Artistic in the extreme, it is a sincere and heartfelt homage to the eccentric pottery of the"Mad Potter of Biloxi" George Ohr, whose work is avidly collected and is represented in major museums around the world. But still rather simple and natural in design, I think Mission style of the Arts and Crafts style movement– Color is a white– Would look fabulous on the heavy wooden furniture of the Mission Arts and Crafts period. Unusual lace technique– The border of this antique runner was said to be a type of lace by the experts on the ebay needlearts discussion board– There was debate as to the type of technique. Though. One thought that it was a Bobbin lace. But did not know if it was hand or machine made– Another thought it was Needle Lace– If experts can further give details on age. Early style history, or how these works were made, please let me know. The ovals are not delicate and thin as one normally thinks of lace– The ovals are heavy– maybe from a heavy natural ... morelinen– Each of the oval is approximately 1 inch long and approximately 3/4ths of an inch wide– Very dense– and they appear to take a lot of intricate work to create. This piece is a heavy natural fabric off white runner– this heavy bobbin or needle lace borders all 4 sides of the runner. Size: The border is deep– approx 3 inches on both sides. And approx 3 ½ inches on both ends. Complete size: is approx 43 inches long and 15 inches wide. Condition: There are no stains on this piece. ROOKWOOD ART POTTERY VASE, 1926. Stickley, Mission Period, Arts and Crafts
You are viewing a great example of Art Pottery from the famous Rookwood Pottery Company of Cincinnati. Ohio founded in the 1880's. Rookwood employed a large staff of artists, mostly women, to hand decorate the pottery before each piece was fired in the kilns. One of the most famous of these was Sally(Sarah) Coyne. This is one of her best pieces and is personally signed(SEC" monogram) on the bottom by her in 1926(XXVI) Also on the bottom are the'flame' shop mark and style number Rookwood. The little'flame' shop mark has an interesting background: a flame was added each year until 1900 when 14 flames were reached and thereafter roman numerals were used for the year of production. Rookwood Pottery is exhibited at many world class museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Coyne painted realistic ... morescenes as well as'free form' art designs as in this example. This example on offer is one of the large ones: 9 1/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches at the widest part. The color combinations chosen by Coyne were hard to photograph. I would say the pixs are slightly overexposed. It looks spectacular in dimmed evening lighting! I have included both flash and no flash pictures. Note only the vase is on offer in this auction. other items are incidental and not for sale. The vase is in excellent condition with on some minor flakes on the bottom likely caused during the final base grinding operation performed on all pottery to make them lay flat on a table. There are no hairlines or cracks an the vase passes the" ping" test(flicking a finger at the top part) and the resulting high pitched sound is there. If there was a line, the sound would be a dull sound. This is a wonderful piece to enhance any collection. All offers will be respectfully considered. Beautiful vintage mission style. Arts crafts, and art nouveau stylized flowers and vines milk glass lamp shade. Overall in good condition. The shade itself has some darkening which probably needs to be professionally removed. The graphics are AWESOME. Colors are still very vibrant in green, purple, orange, and black on cream colored background. There is pink on the top part. There is a noticeable crack on the rim and some minor roughness. The shade measures 8"tall x 22" at the widest part. The opening or rim measures 12 1/2" in circumference and the shank is 1/2"tall. SMOKE FREE!

If not it is definatly The condition is very good, it is mortised and pegged in all the right places. The quarter sawn oak is magnificent. There is two minor spots where the wood is chipped.
