The Craftsmanship is beautiful and the wood has a very rich patina. All parts to the Wall Rack are Original and are in working condition, functionally and aesthetically. This dates to the late 1800s and is made of solid Oak. It has an ornate stick and ball motif with a diamond shaped Beveled mirror in the center of the large front circle. The bentwood piece in the center have fancy ornate brass caps and the ones on the bottom and top ends also have brass caps. The wide wall frame is the same lovely golden oak. The frame measures 19 1/2" by 16 1/2" The magazine rack will open to about 12" deep. There are brass chains on both ends and you could adjust the depth if you wanted to.
