This auction is for a pair of curtain tie backs. Hard to find rare color. They are 4 1/4" across. No chips or cracks, one screw area is a bit bent. Please take the time to read all information below. Vintage Amberina Glass Drapery Curtain Tie Backs- Beautiful! Ruby Red- Amber I am no glass expert but I believe these are a relatively uncommon find. These tie backs are just beautiful! They have ruby red and amber/yellow tones typical of amberina glass. There are no posts with them. They are in great condtion but have a few defects: 1. The one in the 3rd picture has an abrasion in the glass in the center hole where the post goes but is not cracked 2. This same tie back has 1 chip at the tip of one of the flower petals- plainly seen in pics 6-9 3. There other tie back has a chip in the center of one of the round balls that surround the center of the flower- see pics 10-12. The back sides have swirls in the glass but this is typical in the making of old glass I believe. I do my best to describe my items but I am not perfect. These tie back ... moreare in fact vintage. Vintage Antique Glass Towel Ring/Curtain Tie Backs Floral Design 4 Pc w/Brackets
For your consideration is this lot of 4 antique glass curtain tie backs or towel rings. They could be used as towel rings. But the brackets are upside down for that purpose, so we believe they are to be used as curtain rings or tie backs. They are very elegant and would add a very nice touch to any classic room. There is a floral design along the bottom of each ring, which includes flowers connected by a ribbon and bow. The measurements are 4" outside diameter, 2-7/8" inside diameter and the brackets are approximately 5-1/2" long. Please see photos as one of the rings does have a small chip by the screw that affixes it to the bracket. The brackets are not perfect, they are used and an older vintage item, so they do show signs of wear. This item is used and although we try to find all condition issues. This is a pair of depression era brass and glass curtain tie backs that I recently purchased from a local estate. I removed them from the window myself. They are purple amethyst in color and measure 4 1/2" in diameter. And are approximately 5 1/2" long including the screw. See photos. They are deep purple. Vintage Blue Glass Art Deco Fan Design Curtain Tiebacks! NR! Beautiful!!
You are bidding on 3 beautiful vintage blue glass curtain tiebacks! They each measure about 7 1/2" long and the glass part is about 4 3/4" by 3 1/4" at the widest. They are very stunning with the blue glass and Art Deco design! There is a flower design that surrounds each screw on the glass part. There is a very nice Art Deco design on the metal part where it meets the glass( see photos) When I look at these they look to be in great condition with no major issues! When I feel around the edges along the back side only I do feel some roughness nothing you can see only feel. And there is also a bubble in one of them that was done in the making. Antique Vintage Opalescent Glass Curtain Tie Backs pair 4.25"
This is a pair of opalescent glass curtain tie backs. They measure 4.25" each. They are in excellent condition except that one has a very small chip or imperfection near one screw well on the front. There are also several small dots of old gray paint that could be easily scratched off with the right tool. They each have a crude wood dowel and screw attachment(with some rust- see photo) which could be replaced if desired.

A magnificent pair of large late 19th century probably French gilt pressed brass and ruby glass curtain hold backs. The trumpet shaped glass flowers are in perfect condition and the ruby color is deep and rich. They have a diameter of 8 cm(3.1" One brass sepal at the back is missing. I am offering a recent estate find: Very rare matching set of 5 pairs Red Amberina curtain tie backs. These are the truest example of Art Deco design with the bold. Angular fan shape. Each is currently mounted on Oak trim but can be removed and used directly on a wall. All are in very good condition, slightly dusty. One has some type of glue to keep the glass arm in place. This auction is for a pair of antique Opalescent Glass Curtain Tie Backs with Victorian screw-ins. The opalescent glass contains cream and light blue colors. One has 2 large chips and 2 tiny chips along the edge of the clear glass sections. The other. As you can see, was cracked and repaired, as well as having a few chips along the edge.
