Vintage LARGE Antique Hand Forged Iron Hook & Ring Farm Barn Beam Pulley
Vintage Hand Forged Large Iron Hook. Eyehook, and Slide Ring. The Large hook measures 9" long and hook is 4" across. Hook opening is 2 1/2" Hook and eye were pounded from a solid piece of iron. Slid Ring looks to accomodate 3/4" to 1" cable or rope. This was most likely used in a barn as a hanger and slide for hay bales or something similar. This came out of an old Maine barn- It was rusty but I've cleaned it up some and lightly oiled it to preserve it. This is a very nice vintage large Hand Forged Iron Hook and Ring for your Collection! Dismantling a 150-year old barn and came across this beautiful old hand-forged screw hook embedded in this old piece of barn wood. There is no way I could get it out of the wood but I thought it might be something someone would want to try to do. Or could be something you would want to use as is embedded in the wood. You can see it is very old and quite rusty but very cool. Either way. I put the dollar bill in the photo to give a perspective of size since I didn't have a ruler handy. Antique Cast iron barn hinge/ Rustic hanger hand forged Large 18"
This a Hand forged cast iron Hinge plate. It is 18 inches tall and 2" at its widest on the bracket itself, there is 2 prongs that are very primitive and they appear to be glued in place with liquid nail or some other compound, the prongs are uneven with one being 5" long and one at 4" long. This would be great to hand kitchen utensils or tools from, it has holes for mounting to a surface.

Antique Horse Hitching Ring 2 1/4" Old Rustic Barn Decor/ Hand Forged Iron
This is an old Horse Hitching Ring It was found in a Old Blacksmith's Shop built in the mid 1800's. That was being dismantled. You can use this for many decorative purposes if you choose. It is made of Hand Forged Iron. And has the seam from where it was hammered over. It is in great shape for its age. It is 2 1/4" diameter. Inside diameter is 1 1/2" and the eye bolt is 3 1/4" long, the square nut turns freely. A hitching ring was used in a barn to tie up a horse. This antique ring could be placed on a barn door. VINTAGE PRIMITIVE HAND WROUGHT TIE DOWN RING This primitive piece has a great patina and is still in great working condition. Very heavy duty and strong enough for a large animal. The nut moves with ease and the joinery was skillfully done, leaving no weak points. Ring and bolt are 7" long. Bolt is 5" long and ring has a 2 3/4" diameter. Bolt has a bend to it. Could have been done when it was wrought or the result, perhaps, of an irate bull. A good addition for a shop or a rustic camp or cabin. Also good for any antique tool collection. Useful. The hook can be easily pulled using an ordinary claw hammer. These hooks can be used as rustic beam or pole hooks to hang things in in your barn or house. Hang bird feeders, plants, or pounded into garage joists to hang your items. These hand forged hooks were made by me, a blacksmith. Handforged means quality and strength!
