6 Vintage Restoration Hardware Coat Hooks Heavy Wire Screw In Black Paint
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" This is a group of 6 vintage heavy wire screw in 2 hook coat hooks. All 6 of these hooks are in very good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or worn areas in the metal and there are no repairs. The hooks were all painted black at some point so they do show signs of natural wear and use with some paint loss, adn some have bits of other paint on them. One of the hooks needs to have the threaded screw straightened out a bit with a pair of pliers or gently force. The wire on each piece is 3/8” thick. The threaded screw in end is 7/8” long, and the large hook is 3" long and the smaller hook is 1 1/2" ... morelong. Each one measures 4” long from the tip of the threaded end to the tip of the curved hook, and they are about 3” from the bottom hook to the top side of the big hook. Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have– I am always happy to answer! Flower and one leaf lay flat against the wall and the other leaf projects away from the wall to serve as a hook. Each one weighs 12 ounces. I am very pleased to bring you a great pair of heavy cast iron bridal tack hooks that came right from a barn that was built in the late 1800's here in Western Pa. These hooks were specifically designed for tack and heavy tack at that as the bottom hook was molded with a curved wide part as you can put on your bridals. Harnesses and there is a rounded ball in front so it would not get caught and be easy for the on and off. These maesure 8" high in the back with a tri hole configuration and the top hook is 13" long and the bottom is 8 1/2" long with the cast being a wide 1 1/2" I am sorry.looking on here and seeing all these coat hooks is fine but this one is designed for heavy duty use. These were never painted and a lil oil and a wire brush will bring these right back and here is your green tip for the day,if you soak ... morethese in vinegar overnight, the rust will melt off and all you have to do is take a lil steel wool and they will bring back the original smoothness and luster. PLease take a good look as they have no cracks, breaks,or repairs and will serve your family for another 100 years. Love the old stuff! Antique Hardware Decorative Hall Tree Coat Hooks Heavy Ornate & NICE
This is a nice piece of antique hardware that probably was on a nice hall tree. Thiis piece measures approx 5.5 x 5 inches on the front; base is 1.5 inches diameter. And from the base with screw it measures 3 inches. It is made of cast iron nad had a bronze finish on it at one time, wtih swirls and decorations. There is no name or numbers I can find, light wear, paint missing as shown, but no significant damage.
