Up for bid is a lot of 9 original. Antique, Victorian era, ornate cast iron swing arm curtain rods. When closed they are 17 3/4" they can extend up to about 26 inches. The fancy parts are cast iron the sliding part is metal. They have most of the hooks on them but not mounting brackets. All are in very good condition. Shipping will be $17

ANTIQUE VINTAGE CAST IRON ART DECO VICTORIAN ADJUSTABLE CURTAIN ROD SIGN HOLDER
This is a beautiful collection old antique curtain rods that can double purpose as sign holders if you like. My 101 year old grandmother just past and these were found in here attic. I am not sure of the age but they appear to be in nice condition with a very nice patina. Each unit comes with 6-7 rings on them. They are 4 brackets and 11 larger rings that you can see in the photos. I am not sure what is original or if everything is there so please look closely at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I am not an expert but I will help in any way that I can. The ring has two locating screw in pins. The surface of the item was originally lacquered and where this has worn through it has a lovely dark copper pattenation. Floral Victorian/ Nouveau/ Deco Era Cast Iron Curtain Tie Back Brackets
This auction is for a pair of decorative floral tie back/ brackets. They are made of cast iron with bent metal wall brackets. The design depicts a lyre shape with a central flower; reminiscent of Victorian/ Nouveau/ or Deco eras. The cast iron piece itself is stamped: 1094" although there is no maker mark. The floral decorative part of these brackets measure: 2 1/2" x 5" ISSUES: Although originally black with gilt; some of the paint has worn away and so there are dull unpainted spots in addition to some superficial rust spots. Although the rust areas; aren't glaring. you may wish to spruce them up. The decorative cast iron piece is held on to the bracket with a screw between two tabs and I think it would be easy enough to unscrew them; scrub them with a wire brush. Give them a coat of black paint and embellish with paint ... moreto suit your own palette. These items do not smell of smoke. Mildew, must, mothballs or have pet odor. Red Maltese Cross and Stars Victorian Era Style Curtain Tie Backs-Nail backs-4
The heads of these are different styles but similar sizes. But they are similar in color. I believe these are mid-century reproductions of Victorian era tie backs. The main reason I say that is that these are lighter weight, and have lucite or plastic heads, and not glass. The designs are very much like their antique counter-parts. These do have some age on them, though. The straight nail form shaft is 2 1/4" long on all four. The heads are approx. 3/4" in diameter. One has a smaller star shaped rosette, and a second is a bit larger. Two have a maltese cross shape, with one larger than the other. We state ONLY when insurance IS included. Pay Pal only please.

Antique Victorian Brass Door or Window Drapery Curtain Tie Backs Holders Set #2
Antique drapery or curtain tie back brackets. These may have been for a french door or large window. The reason I say this is that they are not stationary, the hook shaped part dangles from the mount, so they would hold a large drape in a more swag type form. They are quite old and have original patina, I believe them to be brass, but please view photos carefully and judge for yourself. Some wear can be seen, both to bracket and mounts. The front decorative medallions measure approx, 2 1/2" the entire bracket from top of mount to curve in hook measures approx. 11 1/4" One is stamped on back T7 I believe. see photos) They are somewhat bent differently as can be seen in photos as well. Up for bid are two sets of antique swing out curtain rods. These are unusual in that they have mirror that sort of act like valances. Each one is 24 3/4" long and 4 1/2" high in the center where the crown is. They have a 1/2 round end made of mirror. The mirror on the front is 22 x 2 3/8" The bar on the back that holds the curtain is 20 1/2" The wood bracket that mount to the wall is 6 1/2" high and sticks out from the wall 3 3/4" There is a hinge which allows the arms to swing out. This is a group of three 1860's victorian curtain tiebacks. The first is nickel plated and the largest. It measures 3.75" long on the wall plate and 1 5/8" wide. It has a very detailed warrior profile and the arm is two leaves and two strawberries. The other two are almost a pair except one is nickel plated and the other is brass.
