This auction is for 9 Antique Cast Iron Screw Hooks with Old White Paint. As seen in the pictures. The actual hooks are very small. Perhaps they were used to hold wire. They measure approximately 3 3/8 in total length with the screw measuring approximately 1 1/4" the painted part of the hook 2" and the hook itself has a diameter slightly over 3/8" Condition: The hooks are as found in the family barn and have not been cleaned. Each hook has an old patina. Thick layer of Distressed Old White Paint, and a thin coating of rust on the screws. This is an Eastlake cast iron plant hook in very good condition. It mounts into the wall by screwing in directly. Excluding the screw it is 8 7/8" long. The screw portion is 1 3/4" long. The hook is 1" deep. This hook has some surface rust in places that would be cleanable or it could be left for a shabby style look. There is no damage at all.

But I am not sure as to the age. The hooks measure 5" in length(protrusion out from the wall) And 6" tall, top hook to bottom hook) These would work beautifully on a standing coat rack or wall fixture. Antique Cast Iron Double Hook, for Coat Hat Robe, has Acorn Tips & Screw back
This is an old cast iron coat hook. This antique hook has two acorn shaped tips and a screw back. It has lost some of its original black japanned finish over the years. It is about 3 7/8 inches long overall. The screw part is 11/16 inches long. This hook was made with a mold that shows the cross hatching on the acorn tips.
