This is a vintage wood vanity. I would say it is from the 20s. 30s or 40s. It has a round mirror approx 48" diameter. The mirror can be detached for transport. The mirror is not perfect, in some places the silver backing is scratched. The bottom vanity piece is 50" wide, 19" deep and 24" height from the floor. The height of the entire piece from the floor including the mirror is 64" It has 5 dovetail joint drawers. 2 on each side and one in the center. I listed this item with no returns accepted. A beautiful matching petit point and embroidery 5 piece dressing table vanity set. Comprising hand mirror, hair brush, clothes brush, jewellery box and powder bowl. The mirror and hand brush are shield shaped and the mirror has a bevelled edge. The hairbrush and clothes brush have nylon bristles set into a wooden pad, which both have the words NYLON MADE IN ENGLAND stamped on them. The rectangular jewellery box stands on gilded decorative legs and has a golden padded interior to both inner base and lid. The outer underside of the jewellery box is leather effect. The circular powder bowl stands on golden decorative legs, has a mirror set into the inner lid, and a cream bakelite powder dish within, which is removable for washing or filling purposes. Ver Rare.This is the only one on Ebay at the current tine, due to most hand mirrors being broken over time. This mirror which dates to between 1930 and 1940 has survived. 75 to 85 years old) Comes in the traditional diamond cut lead crystal style with a double row of lucite beads around the circumference of the mirror side.
