This splendid Victorian dresser offers beautiful raised panels of burl walnut on the mirror portion as well as on the drawer fronts. And the top of the mirror has a wonderful carved cartouche with walnut roundels accenting the top portion of the mirror. This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 91 inches( 7ft 6" The dresser width measures 42 1/4 inches, dresser depth measures 18 1/4 inches, and the height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 29 1/4 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 150 lbs. The mirror portion and the marble does lift off to allow easier transport and moving. We believe the mirror to be original and it measures 35 inches high by 19 inches wide and does show some light spotting that's age appropriate. The marble on the base is also original and is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. The dresser base offers three storage drawers each having the original brass Eastlake pulls and all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. Just a very sturdy and well made Victorian Eastlake Walnut Marble Top dresser that would make a great addition to an Eastlake Victorian bedroom. The finish is in good condition, commensurate with it's age with only the minor nicks and dents one would expect with respectful use over time. The three beautiful beveled mirrors are clear and in very good condition, free of cracks, chips or pitting. In my close up I show how easily these mirrors on the side remove for easy and safe transport then are simply hooked back in place. The large central mirror can also be easily removed and wrapped for shipping. This delightful dressing table or vanity with bureau drawers has all it's hardware except one drawer pull has the back plate but is missing the handle itself. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition, construction and overall beauty of this nice piece, ready for use in your home or place of business. The large central mirror measures 31 1/4 inches tall by 14 1/2 inches wide while the two side mirrors are each 26 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. There are 4 small drawers in the top section. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical ... moreof the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches. I have not attempted to clean these and they have a great older patina. 13 of the 15 pulls measure 3.75 inches wide and measure 3 inches between the screw holes. There is one large one that measures 4.25 inches wide and 3 inches between the screw holes. There is one smaller one that measures 3 inches wide that is missing his pull portion. Solid Cherry.....English Antique Furniture Eastlake dresser commode...circa 1810
This is a charming English made solid cherry antique dresser circa 1810. I acquired this from a couple who came to the United States from England. This piece is consistent with English cabinetmaking.This is made from solid cherry planks. The candle stands which flank the mirror are wonderful.The carvings and hand turned finials are beautiful. The hardware is all original except for the 2 small upper drawers which is new. All of the lower drawers have locks which work excellently with a new key. The hand cut dovetail joinery and hand chamfered drawer bottoms are beautiful. The drawer fronts are 1" thick solid cherry, there is no veneer on this entire piece.The secondary wood is poplar. The mirror glass is new.The mirror is on tilting mounts(it does not stay fixed when tilted. Just let in hang vertically) This piece has lots of battle ... morescars(nicks, dings etc) and some repairs earned over its lifetime such as dings in both side panels about the size of a"pea" The top(across the full width.left to right) has an age separation shrinkage crack which I repaired(you can still tell there was a crack despite the repair(see photo) some drawer bottoms have age shrinkage separations,there are some age shrinkage separations(cracks) in the side panels, worn edges, small stains in the top and character marks consistent with any fine antique.I refinished the top and the mirror frame, after repairing a missing piece of wood around the mirror thumb screw. The inlaid brass keyhole escutcheons are all in place. Most of the dresser has the original finish with a gorgeous patina as you can easily see in the mirror support photos etc. This wonderful piece will look beautiful wherever you decide to place it whether an entryway. Bedroom or living room.I restored all of the drawers and reinforced some internally with wood blocking.The drawers are strong, stable and they slide excellently.I t has such delicate graceful lines which sets it apart from the crowd. all the best. Spectacular"Highly Figured Sold Maple" Chest of Drawers Circa 1895 I fully restored this lovely piece.It features incredible"highly figured" solid maple with Birdseye maple veneers on the oxbow top drawer fronts.All of the brass hardware. Including the key hole covers are original.As you can see the hardware is the icing on this cake! The original drawer locks are all in place and in excellent working order using the beautiful key I had made.The top of the dresser has incredible patina and some of the finest grain figuring you will see.The top is first class all the way. All of the drawers were totally rebuilt and slide like silk. The drawers feature the sought after dovetail joinery. I restored the finish all by hand using a custom rich stain to achieve the highlighted rich burgundy followed by many. Many coats of hand ... morerubbed varnish.When you rub your hands over the finish you will feel the superb depth and notice the beauty of the amazing maple grains. This is a"bonnet top" dresser meaning the top two drawers protrude and overhand the lower level drawers. The sides have great architectural design with the paneled construction.Like any fine antique. This piece has minor imperfections and character marks in the wood. The posts which hold the drawer handle in place are brass plated steel, some of the plating has worn off after 135 plus years.The photos show casters in the legs, they will not be included.I find they tend to split the legs.There is a knot depression on the upper left side(see photo) I think it adds character and figuring just like the top of the dresser. This piece is solid. This piece is really something to see! Salesman Sample Vanity Dresser with 3 Drawers I am unsure of the origin/maker; it is marked with a"KL" or"V" I can't quite tell) with the number 45 underneath. It appears to be skillfully crafted by hand. I am unaware if the red paint was original or added at a later date. The entire sample is constructed out of wood. Even the small knobs, and the mirror has signs of aging from it's time period. The style almost looks oriental. But either way it is very beautiful! Here we have an antique 1940's hard wood TRIANGULAR SHAPE chest of 4 drawers. We were told it is from the late 30's early 1940's. This dresser/ cabinet measures 39-1/2" in height. 24" long across the bottom at the longest part- 1" at the top of the triangle- across the front. This is 17-3/4" wide. Made in Mexico. Has a veil of white overspray on the right side and across part of the front. There are some scratches and a couple of small chips out of the wood. See pics. Use the zoom feature. Up forauction this Antique Salesman Sample Dresser. This was purchased at an auctionand they represented it as such. It could possibly be doll furniture butjudging by the size. Design, granite top and the intricate wood work we don’tthink it is, either way it’s a great piece. We couldn’t find any marks sodating it is difficult but it looks early. This piece is carved and designed likean Eastlake piece and could possibly be an Eastlake salesman sample. Input inthis area is welcome. It has a great granite top with red, grey and white veinsrunning through it, a very unique feature that we haven’t seen very often. Thedrawer faces are carved as well. They’re lined in pink velvet and the cutelittle knobs look to be porcelain. Antique Big Victorian Bedroom Decor Furniture Dresser 1850 Mirror Brush Set
Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. With a thin crimping rod for"pin curl" size curls. The round mirror has some tarnishing from age. A magnet does not stick to it. The mirror measures approx. 12" long x 9" at the widest. 4 piece bedroom set. pictures 3.4,5 are the tall dresser.all dimensions are approximate.42.5" tall by 38"wide by 18"deep.has 3 cigarette burns on top.picture 5,bottom drawer guide is cracked but drawer still slides in and out.2cnd drawer has the divider in it. pictures 6.7,8,9,10 are the 2 end tables with drawers 30.25"tall by 22" long by 15.25"deep.picture 6 end table was sanded down and verathane stain applied to all but middle section above drawers.this area is a bit darker.the other one has a rough top. picture 11.12 is the long dresser.30" tall by 52"long by 18" deep.stains on front drawers and a little gouge on drawer face.all pieces are old and show signs of wear.will benefit from a good sanding and some stain.all pieces have the conant ball stamp in drawer except for one small end table. ... morelocal pick up only.i live in mount vernon.Wa which is about 1 hour north of seattle.may consider delivery within 100 miles for $100.00 delivery fee.

Antique Hand Carved Solid Oak Furniture Part Basket of Flowers Shelf Dresser Bed Here we have a very lovely solid oak furniture part. I’m not quite sure what it went to… it could have gone to a bed. A dresser, or an armoire. It has a mortise and tenon construction, and I believe it dates back to the 1870s or before. It would make a perfect wall shelf bottom. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger.
