Vintage CONDOR DELINA Embroidered Petit Point Dressing Table Vanity 4 Piece Set For your consideration is a mid-20th Century four piece vanity set- a CONDOR Product from England with the DELINA Trade Mark. It is in wonderful condition for its age and features delightful petit point embroidery of pink roses. Green leaves and gold scrolled highlights on a very light grey background. The embroidery is protected by fitted plastic and the colours are vibrant and beautiful. All pieces have very detailed and beautifully ornate(unpolished) frames with lovely patination that enhances their vintage character. The frames are filigreed and gilded brass with matching patterns and the handles of the mirror and brush have stunning fretwork. The set consists of a mirrored tray(13cm x 13.5cm x 2.5cm) A hair brush(27cm x 11cm x 4cm) a clothes brush(15.5cm ... morex 4cm x 4cm) and a hand held mirror(34cm x 15cm) The two brushes have detachable bases for easy cleaning and both are in very good condition with little signs of staining or wear. The brush base is a darker colour than the clothes brush base. The mirrors have a few very slight scratches which are difficult to see and the mirror tray has green velvet underneath. Hard to find, triple-mirrored dressing table, includes 2 drawers and mirrors that swing in on each side. Drawers work fine, have dove tailed joints. Mirrors in good condition. Style of this vanity has influences of Mission with the straight lines, and also Empire with the curved scrolled front legs, typical of a late 19th century transitional piece. Regarding wood color, it is a medium oak. Some dark areas are shadows and white areas are reflections. As you can see this is a wonderful piece and could be used in many places in a home. Being presented for sale is this fabulous 19th century French Empire Mahogany Marble top Dressing Table Vanity with gilt ormolu. The details on this piece are truly beautiful! Brass accents adorn the mirror supports with brass acorn knobs securing the oval mirror to the supports. The original white& grey marble is inserted into the vanity top. A storage drawers below with a gorgeous angel type ormolu key escutcheon. The lock is present in the drawer but we do not have the key. Flanking the drawer are Roman Goddess type faces with plumage ormolu below.just splendid! This piece measures 55 inches to the top of the mirror. Antique Mahogany Vanity Dressing Table Made in England
This is a superb solid mahogany vanity dressing table made in England circa 1900. To the base it has a knee hole or some times in England years ago they used to let the dog sleep in there.They called it a dog kennel, it has the original cut glass handle. The top has the original beveled mirror. And to either side there are two small trinket drawers for jewelry etc. Condition is very good. The top comes of the base so its easy to transport. To the back there are two satinwood panels. Its really a very nice piece of furniture. Measurements are 48 wide. 21 deep, 73 high. QUALITY HALLMARKED SILVER BOXED VANITY DRESSING TABLE BRUSH MIRROR SET + PERFUME This is a most unusual SOLID HALLMARKED SILVER BRUSH. MIRROR DRESSING TABLE SET. The set comprises a MIRROR. TWO BRUSHES, COMB, LARGE SILVER LIDDED DRESSING TABLE JAR and most unusually a LARGE and STUNNING PERFUME SPRAY BOTTLE. The bottle sprays by pressing the circular mechanism to the side as photographed. I would imagine there should be a glass or plastic tube from the lid into any perfume. THIS TUBE IS MISSING. Only the outer cap of the perfume bottle is hallmarked silver. The spray mechanism being white metal. The BIRMINGHAM hallmarks match on all pieces and date to 1959. The maker being the DANIEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY. The set seems to be complete. Though unpolished, there being some minor age related'dings' and wear, as would be expected from ... morea loved and used item.
