Drexel is a manufacture of high quality solid wood furniture. Please check the pictures for a better look at some of the wear on the vanity top and towards the bottom. It is still in great solid. Sturdy condition and the drawers are all dovetailed and clean. There is some finish rubbed off in areas toward the bottom front of legs(pictured) main wear is on left very bottom side(pictured) but there are other areas in the front that have finish rubbed off from age/use. There is some staining on the very right side top of vanity(pictured) This can be easily lightly refinished to make perfect. Antique Completely Restored Oak Hotel Washstand with Mirror Chest Dresser No Res
You are bidding on a hotel washstand that has been completely restored by a professional refinisher. It is in more or less perfect condition now. It is finished in a medium oak color with minwax provential stain. Finished with several coats of Sherwin Williams sand& sealer and two coats of Sherwin Williams top coat water proof lacquer. The entire piece of furniture has been sprayed and sealed good, including drawer bottoms, back and bottom of the piece. The solid brass has been cleaned and lightly polished with jewelers rough. The finish is hand-rubbed and it looks like it has just be waxed. The bevel mirror is original, has some distortation because of age. The towel bar including the bar itself is all original. The base comes apart from the towel bar and mirror for easy transport. As you can see the back looks just about as good as ... morethe front. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. This measures 26 3/4" tall. By 13 3/4" across the back. It does tilt and the mirror slides out of the base. The old gold painted finish has turned dark and but the lower right hand side is slightly copper colored. Maybe an old paint touch up. This very ornate mirror is definately from the turn of the century and is heavy cast iron. The mirror does look to have been replaced and you can see the lower edge between the leaves. Victorian Eastlake Dresser Mirror Spoon Carved Walnut For sale is(1) antique 1880’s Eastlake style dresser and mirror done in walnut with chip carved detail The dresser measures 76 inches high overall x 38.5 inches wide x 18 inches deep. The height of the dresser chest is 34 inches The three drawers are 7 inches deep on the inside and each has the original lock mechanism with brass keyhole insert. Each drawer has the traditional Eastlake chip carving detail. All the drawers are dovetailed and have the original bottoms. The hardware is the classic brass teardrop and I believe these are not original but correct for the period. There are 4 wooded casters on the bottom and appear to be replacements. The swivel mirror measures 27 inches wide x 21 inches high and has the original mirror. The pictures show a sheet to cut down on the reflection. ... moreA carved detail on the center top of the mirror section matches the lower carvings. The color of the dresser is a medium dark brown walnut. The finish is original and the finish on top of the dresser is quite excellent and hand rubbed. Pair Replacement Mirror Bracket Key Swivel Supports Antique Dresser SOLID BRASS
This is for a PAIR of solid brass replacement swivel supports for a mirror on an antique dresser. Commode, sideboard, etc. This type of mirror support has a round decorative finial on the outside of the yoke with a threaded brass rod that goes through the yoke and then through a wide brass washer that functions to hold the mirror and the yoke apart, and then screws into the brass fastener that is mounted(screws into) into the mirror frame. Sounds much more complicated than it really is! The round finial measures 1 1/2" across. The brass washer measures 1/4" wide and the exposed end of the threaded flange that screws into the mirror frame is 3/16" thick. Each support comes with a shorter threaded rod that is 2" long and longer threaded rod that is 3 1/2" long for use with various widths of yokes and mirrors. ANTIQUE LATE 1800s WALNUT VICTORIAN DRESSER WITH GLOVE BOXES, MIRROR,AND MARBLE
Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Dresser w/ Mirror Chest of 6 Drawers Bureau
Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some noticeable wear associated with age, including chips and breakage to the veneers or inlay, including the lamp maedallion at the top of the mirror. See ... morepictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right side finial is missing altogether. The knob that goes over the swivel action of the mirror on the right side has come off, but we do have it. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. Vanity with mirror, and bench This furniture belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1898 The markings on it say"Colonial Furniture Company Bassett Virginia 1936" These pieces have not been refinished and have nicks. Scratches, and a couple of cigarette burns. The bench has been recovered and the fabric is in good condition The dresser measures 17 1/2" deep x 46" high x 32" wide. The vanity measures 17" deep x 28" high x 45" wide. The vanity mirror measures 34" high x 22" wide. Antique Three Section Dresser Mirror with Wood Backing. Assembly stands 37" tall with the center section being 18-1/2" wide while flanking mirrors are 9-1/4" wide. Mirror panels are mounted to 7/8" thick wood backing with metal clips. Flanking mirror are attached to center panel with lift-off type hinges so can be moved/shipped/transported as three pieces. Wood backs of side panels look to be finished while center panel appears to be partially sanded only. The silvering of the mirrors is not in perfect condition as there is some discoloration and splotching.
