I picked this stunning chair up at an estate sale in Palm Beach. The women told me the chair has been in her family for many years and was quite old. The swivel chair is well made and is solid as well as sturdy. The chair has no markings as to the maker or year. As I'm not an expert by any means I will describe the chair as I see it. I do not know the wood type. However it looks to be a hard wood with a medium color stain. The rounded back gives the chair a barrel back design. The chair is upholstered in a light pink floral fabric with a skirt giving the chair a Victorian flair. Up for bid is a Lovely Antique dresser top vanity mirror with drawer in what looks to be made of mahogany with the original finish with a great patina in excellent condition for its age. The mirror has the original silvering to it showing slight age to it and is still very nice to use daily. It also comes complete with all its original hardware as well. I would place the time period from around the 1920’s or so done in an early American style and would fit into several periods of furniture and make a great useful look in any home. The box also features profuse brass straps to all sides of the box. The box lock is in good working order and there is a key. Which inserts into a brass diamond shape escutcheon. The interesting interior boasts multiple compartments(both visible and hidden secret compartments) The lid features a small shaped mirror. The central removable tray has one lid above further compartments along with central pen compartments. There are further lids surrounding the removable compartment. Much of the interior is constructed for easy removal. The box contains the original letter rack. Condition Report: The box is in good condition and is commensurate with its age. This is a very nice antique make-up mirror. It is on a stand so it can be used on a dresser or vanity. It has a gold colored frame. It could be brass. But I'm not completely certain of the metal. It stands 13 1/2 inches tall. The mirror itself is round and is 8 inches in diameter. The mirror has two sides and can be flipped over to have either side at whatever angle is needed. This is a very sturdy item- it weighs almost 3 pounds. There are no markings on the bottom. So I'm not sure how old or where it was made. This is an antique brass swivel table vanity/makeup/shaving mirror with a cherub and shell motif. There are 3 cherubs sitting among scrolling leaves and 2 acorn knobs to tilt the mirror. The mirror stands 13.25" high and 12" wide from acorn tip to acorn tip. This lovely mirror is in very good condition. Some of the embossed brass has been worn down by use and age. Here is a beautiful antique tri-fold mirror with heavy beveled glass. French style Ormolu decorations of raised applied corners. Beaded and rope design on front and back of frame. The hinges are excellent and it closes with no problems, the glass is very nice for its age with just a little light spotting, the metal gold tone frame has discolorations from age, there are two small dents in the frame, one on the right panel top, the other on the bottom of the middle panel, very small but I think you can see it in one of the photos. There is one Ormolu corner missing. The chain is discolored and one of the mirror brackets to hold the chain is slightly bent. I'm not positive but i think the backs of the panels are leather, two are textured and one is smoother, maybe just the two outside ones are leather and the middle not, I just don't ... moreknow for sure. This Lovely Antique Hand Vanity Beveled Mirror is another Great Estate Find. It is about 9.25" Long and the round portion has a Diameter of about 5 1/8" Most likely it dates back in time to the period of the 1920s to 1930s and features pretty Pansies with soft green leaves. In full blossom. There are 2 photos of the mirror portion. One was taken outdoors and is reflecting Geraniums growing nearby; the other was taken indoors and is reflecting a textured ceiling panel. I'm not sure which gives a better view of the mirror so I posted both here. Unfortunately. There is a large horizontal crack running across the porcelain at about the center. It runs across the area of the Yellow Pansy. On the mirror part in the bevel, right near the metal edge, there is what appears to be a small discolorated area. You can see a fairly good enlarged close-up in last picture. I don't think it is cracked as it cannot be felt to the touch. I think it is some sort of little discoloration behind the mirror glass. All that being said. It still makes a beautiful addition to an Antique or Romantic Period Setting. Please do not

Vintage Antique Pair Of Hand Mirrors Ivory Celluloid Bevelled Nice Vanity Makeup
Beautiful set of two matching hand mirrors with antique original bevelled edge glass mirrors inset in faux Ivory Py-Ra-Lin celluloid striped pattern frames/handles. The smaller mirror is marked on the handle with the makers mark. The larger mirror has some slight discoloration to the back and mirror discoloration from age. ONE(1) Vintage Sterling Silver Vanity/Dresser Set Powder Jar. Hallmarked(see photo) on the lid. No apparent makers mark. Most likely American made. Gorgeous art nouveau repousse design of floral designs. It measures approx. 2" in diameter overall x 1-3/4" tall. This item is used& in good condition. Typical light surface wear& does have tarnish on the silver. It could also use a polish& buff. A few small dings/dents, nothing serious as you can see in photos. Glass portion is excellent! Offering a signed Foster antique Rhinestone compact. Exquisite piece! Beautiful floral motif set with colourful faceted stones. All stones present. Raised pierced metalwork with three dimensional leaves. Stunning! Opens to a clear mirror with a small amount of crazing at the base of the glass mirror. Two hinged compartments. One stamped"Foster" which holds an unused lip stain. Still has the original cellophane covering it and it reads"Medium" Beside this is the rouge and it still has the embossed Foster logo visible on top.
