Couple tight surface cracks, few ligt stains, blemishes, and a light streak that I cannot determine the cause of, but overall very nice. Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. You may notice a few small areas of different tone, probably different pieces of wood took stain differently. The marble top is described above, and could use a gentle polishing, but not necessary. The marble is gorgeous with an ogee bevel edge. It is shaped to the shape of the solid hand carved rose decorated skirt that has a finial on each corner block. The whole top rests upon four multi turn spindle fancy carved legs with buttons and rosettes that are all joined together in the center with a bowl or finial type top. The white and gray grain marble top is in nice condition that has some slight discoloration that isn’t very noticeable. The table itself is in nice original condition. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

All original, hand crafted, hand cut dove tail construction throughout the solid dark oak wood. Many unique hand carved designs throughout that gives the piece a lot of character. Original door pulls and marble top. I believe everything is original with no refinishing or restoration. Marble tip is in perfect condition with chips or cracks anywhere. As you can see in the pictures, it has many storage areas with multiple doors and drawers. This piece is massive and very heavy. It measures 8 feet 4" tall, 70 1/2" wide and 27" deep. It does come apart for transportation into 4 pieces: the base, the marble top, the center gallary, and the entire top piece. A Handsome Antique cabinet wash stand Victorian Walnut Marble Top cupboard Washstand circa 1880's. This washstand measures a total height of 30" Total width of 34 inches, a total depth of 17 inches, and weighs about 50 lbs. The white beveled marble top shows some light staining. The base has a storage drawer at the top with walnut knobs surrounded by raised bead molding. The storage cabinet below has double doors with recessed panels surrounded by picture framed bead moldings. This cabinet was from my parent's collection and stood for 50 years in their home amidst many antiques. I am pleased to offer for sale a Solid Walnut Victorian Marble Top Washstand circa 1870's. This one drawer over two door washstand features tear drop pulls on raised burl walnut panels and a beautifully carved center key escutcheon. The inset panels of the doors also offer raised burl panels. On each side of the doors are two narrow vertical panels divided by a small rosette. Inside is a shelf which offers wonderful storage opportunities. The bottom does lock and we do have the key. The drawer lock does no work. The white and grey serpentine shaped marble is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. The back splash is still there but the candle holders are gone. The holes have been covered by rosettes which is shown in the pictures. This piece measures 34 3/4 inches high, 32 inches wide and 17inches deep. The weight is approximately ... more50 lbs. This beautiful 19th century dresser features an abundance of gorgeous carvings and burl walnut accents on the crest of the tall dressing mirror.The original period brass pulls, period dove-tailed ends on the drawers and all the casters intact on the base. This splendid dresser measures a total height from the floor to the top of the mirror of 92 inches(7 ft 8 inches) A total width of 51 1/2 inches, height from the floor to the top of the dresser sides measures 36 inches, and height from the floor to the marble at the center measures 23 inches, with a total depth at the base of 20 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. for sale is a great contoured skirted pieced carved walnut marble turtle top table. near mint condition with no repairs or missing parts or pieces that i can see. there are a very few very minor scuff marks on the legs. Just small surface scratches, if they bother you, you can wipe a bit of stain over them and they are gone. at any rate, a very well heavy made table of the high victorian era, all original including the casters. it is a nice size table, being 33 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it has a wonderful finial on top of the stretcher. may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i have 30 or 40 tables in my house and need to get rid of a few plus a bunch of other things. i have the house almost impassable at this point. anyway, i am starting most of the things i am listing at less than i paid years ... moreago for them. i have always tried to buy the nicest things i could afford, so you will find most of the things i have in good condition and quality. i will be listing more tables in time to come and also i have 9 bedroom sets upstairs, some of which i will be listing. i don't use any of the bedrooms and have them stacked full of all kinds of things.anyway, excuse the rambling. good luck

BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP CHEST W/ WONDERFUL CARVED WOODEN PULLS CIRCA 1880
This is a beautiful American victorian 6 drawer marble top chest with the original finish and fine detailed wooden drawer pulls. The chest is circa 1880. The chest is a good size that measures 47" wide. 21 1/4" deep, and 31 1/2" tall. The chest has the original white veined marble and original brass roller. The marble has a small 6" surface run that does not go through to the back. There are two upper drawers that are 20" wide and 6" deep. The two lower drawers are 41" wide and 8" deep. Being offered for sale this Victorian Walnut Marble Top Three Drawer Chest with Carved Pulls and Oval Decorative molding on the drawer Fronts circa 1875. This lovely chest measures a total height of 34 3/4 inches. Total width of 38 1/4 inches and total depth of 18 3/4 inches and weighs approximately 95 lbs. We believe the white and grey veined marble top to be original and is in fine antique condition but does show some slight usage and character marks and a bottom rim chip that is common for marble of this age. The three large storage drawers each offer raised oval decorative molding and carved pulls with period dove-tailed ends. And all the locks are intact but we do not have the key, and this chest has its casters intact on all four feet to allow for easier moving within your home.
