The front of the chest has beautiful incised carvings on the drawers and wood escutcheons. This chest is good quality, solid, sturdy and would make a great addition to any Victorian Decor. The Eastlake furniture style as envisioned by its namesake, Charles Lock Eastlake, came about in response to his dislike of the over-the-top Rococo and Renaissance Revival styles popular during the Victorian era. Although Eastlake furniture is technically considered Victorian, being popular from 1870-1890, it breaks away from the excessive high relief carving, classical elements and numerous curves of other styles produced during this timeframe. RARE Primavera Dresser Tallboy Brown Saltman Baker Johnsons Furniture vintage
Rare& uncommon Primavera Circa 1940's 46" tall. 20" deep, 37" wide. Primavera is virtually unused in furniture these days because of it's rarity and expense. Of the hardest to manage is unstained Primavera(you will see Drexel Baughman Primavera which looks dark but it is actually stained) Referred to as white mahogany and prized. This dresser is exceptional and of the highest quality but has defied identification primarily because of the retailer. Woodrums of Charleston. WV was one of the top 3 retailers in the United States in it's hay day and was a prime importer of goods from Grand Rapids. As a major retailer(like John Stuart) it had the right to remove manufacturer labels and replace it with it's own- which it did on all pieces sold. Much like how Raymor also did not allow Botossi and other producers ... moreto maintain their labels for import. The quality of the piece is not in dispute and is rare. Robsjohn-Gibbings is also a possible maker of this item. Note the use of slanted and curved plinth base; the use of edging on the sides of the main body where the drawers slide to. The use of cornering and custom fitted brass and wedges for the drawers; the purposeful added line of wood between the top two and bottom drawers and the creation of every drawer being a different size. Only the best did this. Possibly this is a forerunner to the praised Edward Wormley for Drexel lines. Rago sold a dresser produced by Frank Lloyd Wright with the same style and pulls but also Robsjohn Gibbings designed a near identical model for Widdicomb. However Paul Frank& Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller also produced similar dressers to this. Marked on the back with crayon letters and stamped"171" In excellent condition with signs of use. OK. So this is a Vintage 9 Drawer Dresser.it features 6 drawers which are full size: 25" Lx17"W 6" deep. There are three drawers running down the middle which are: 25" Lx 17" w 6" deep. The two large top drawers have a removable divider in them. I replaced the divider with a poplar board. Since the divder was missing. Very nice touch to separate socks, etc. The hardware is original and awesome. Please see the detail in the pictures. There was a missing tack, which I replaced in one of the middle drawers. As you look at the piece. The leg on the left hand side has been reinforced by me, as it was a little loose. It is tight, tight, tight now! The legs are 9" From the decorative top to the bottom. All drawers and riders/gliders are secure and very sturdy. No repairs at all. All are in very good condition except the armoire is missing 2 feet and the paper on the piano needs to be glued down. Vintage Sindy Pedigree Doll House Dresser. This item has been used. And needs cleaning. It is missing two of the drawer pulls/knobs and the mirror is a bit scuffed here and there, and has some yellowing/discoloration, as is to be expected with its age. There are no cracks or breaks anywhere, and all of the drawers are fully functional. The mirror pulls off and folds up, or snaps in to place on top of the dresser. It does not include the original box. It measures 9" tall from the floor to the top of the mirror, and" wide, by 3.25" deep. The top 3 drawers are not made to open, but the rest do. Vintage Tin Doll Furniture Dresser w/Mirror and Drawer Contents Marx?
This wonderful treasure was found at the bottom of a box wrapped in old newspaper. I was surprised to find every drawer filled with some little girl's treasures. The tin dresser measures approx. 8" tall x 10 7/8" across. There are three drawers(one drawer handle is dented) and a mirror in back that can be raised. The mirror pulled up makes the dresser 13 3/8" tall. The drawers were overloaded with vintage toys. Doll clothes, play makeup, play curlers and more. All of these goodies will come with the dresser. The dresser is unmarked and I'm not sure if I am over looking the mark. Maybe it's from the Marx Co. from this time period-I don't know, but still an awesome find.

Vintage 1966 Remco HEIDI and JAN playset DRESSER. HOPE CHEST, battery-operated LAMP furniture Thanks for visiting my auction! Heidi and Jan were Remco's most popular dolls of the 1960s. Little 5- to 6-inch"Pocketbook Dolls. Like their contemporary Penny Brite. Heidi and Jan had several playsets and furniture to make playing with them more fun. Here are three of the furniture pieces, from various sets: dresser with mirror. Hope chest, and lamp table with battery-operated lamp. All are made of hard plastic. The dresser has two working drawers-red ones. Its pretend mirror now is missing. Lift the hope chest lid and see a tray. Which lifts out and is lined in blue velveteen, and a red drawer beneath that, which lifts out rather than slides. Inside of lid has a pretend mirror-which is loose and needs to be glued in place(taped now) The ... morelamp table has a shelf in a more orange-y color than the drawers. It's a nifty thing, with its original bulb still in place It appears to take a AA battery-has prongs to hold some sort of power source in the lower part. You twist the base and it clicks-little pins slide around in a track-and lamp should turn on and off(see photo) Alas, I couldn't get it to work, but the bulb most probably has burned out-after all, it is 48 years old! I can't promise that it will work with a new bulb. All are clean and have no cracks or chips. There is a little yellow discoloration on the creamy-white plastic; I haven't used any strong cleaners on it so don't know whether it could be removed(often Clearasil and sunlight work wonders, even on hard plastic! Lamp has a few dark spots, especially under the lampshade, and the shade has a tiny melt mark. The trio is cute, well-made and hard-to-find. You find a lot of these dolls, but not a lot of their furniture. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding. Here is a fabulous small serpentine chest of drawers measuring 6 1/2" h x 10" w x 5" d finely made in what I believe is walnut(but I cannot guarantee that) take a look at photos. Maybe you can tell what kind of wood it is. Please note: although miniature in size, this is not for a miniature dollhouse but rather a larger"doll sized" piece) This is a wonderful piece of folk art done by someone proud of this piece enough to sign it(illegible to me) and date it 1971. The drawers are lined with vintage brown and tan patterned paper and the drawers have proportionally appropriate handles. But we are moving and must part with many treasures. The dresser measures 11 3/4" tall, 12" across, and 5" in depth or approximately 6" deep including the crystal knobs or drawer pulls. This piece was made to look like a miniature antique piece of furniture and was designed with antiquing and rub marks as well as a couple of small dents to give it even more of an aged effect. On the back of the dresser, some of the original finish is coming off where the price tag once was. It is lovely as is or can easily be refinished in whatever stain or color you desire since this piece is all wood. Used. Measures about 48" x 19" 43" There is a stamp on the back of the piece in black- see pic. I cannot make it out. I can read what I believe is Lawrenceburg Warranted Manufactured. The other words. Especially the top and what appears to be state initials I am unable to read. This piece is very heavy. The wood appears to be walnut. It has been refinished- that I can tell. I believe it's a gorgeous piece! But that is my perception. I believe it is is from around the turn of the century. Someone told me 1850- 1860. But I do not believe so because of the black stamping on the back. There are 2 holes on the back of the piece on each side toward the top. My guess is for a mirror. But I could be wrong. Vintage 1958 Mattel International doll furniture "Dresser"
1958 vintage Mattel International doll furniture. Danish Style. This Dresser was made by Taihei Mokko Co Ltd of Japan for the Mattel International company. Furniture is scaled to be used for Barbie. All wood furniture. This piece is in excellent condition. It does have a few rub marks around the edges and slight scratch on top. Mirror piece is in excellent condition as well but the mirror is aged due to shelf life(You can still see yourself: Piece is marked with the Taihei Mokko Label and stamped Made in Japan. Underneath, the Taihei Mokko Label is a stamp of the Mattel International Logo. Shipped to US locations only.

Vintage Fisher Price Furniture set. I think from the 70's You get what you see in good played with condition. The top of the dresser is a little dirty but it looks removeable and the mirror has some tiny pock marks on it.
