This is a great little ... morechippy piece. Do not know the history, my guess it was a hand made piece by someone with very good wood working skill. There is a nice carved pediment across the top over an early mirror. Turned columns on the sides of the mirror and nice decorative trim around the mirror. There are two shallow wide drawers and two square deeper drawers on the bottom. As you can see in the pictures one of the drawer bottoms was made from a wood crate and one of the sides also shows the imprint of a wood crate under the paint(see last picture) There are old metal wheels on the bottom. In good solid antique condition. The paint is worn and chipped, there is wear to the mirror with some silver loss, on the side where the imprint of the crate can be seen there is a break to the trim wood on the back corner. On the old wood backing it looks like there is an old water mark. It has seen years of use. Still a great primitive chippy piece that could be left as is, or repainted for a bright clean finish. The top piece with the columns and the mirror is held on with screws and can be removed to cut down on shipping cost. Dresser measures 31" tall. 19" wide and about 12" deep. Vintage mid century modern Eames antique dresser mirror in good condition with mirror replaced. This 24 inch tall by about 12 inches wide mirror is in good shape. It does have one crack on the right-hand side. However it is been lovingly repaired. This beautiful Piece has unique knobs on each side. In order to move the mirror, one must lightly unscrew the knobs. The bottom of the piece also has the same knobs, but it provides dramatic effect. Vintage Bevelled Glass Vanity Dresser Mirror Victorian Cast Brass
This is a handsome. Vintage, bevelled dresser or vanity mirror that belonged to my grandmother who died at the age of 90- decades ago. So it's pretty old- I don't know how old. It appears to be solid cast brass, looks Victorian, and is stamped with the number 301 1/2 on the back of the mirror's frame and 196 1/2 on the base. It's heavy. The overall height is 18" and comes apart in 3-4 sections. The actual mirror is approximately 6" x 8.5" not including its brass frame. The frame has two decorative screws on either side of the mirror that allow it to pivot. The mirror has a few specs where it has lost the silvering. This would be perfect for anyone living in a Victorian home, and especially if the man in the family shaves the old fashioned way. Cosmetics, gloves or handkerchiefs. Well made little box with Thomas Kincaid-like cottage scene lithograph in front. Sealed into the wood. Wood is ornately carved, just beautiful. Cedar-type possibly pine wood little chest. Has pretty grain, texture and wood knots, it smells good inside, COOL etched and frosted glass vintage mirror inside. Sliding hinge hardware keeps box open. Box is in terrific condition. Inside very clean, mirror has some silvering and signs of age. Dresser Vanity Mirror Gold Tone Cherubs Hollywood Regency Sam Fink Vintage
Great Hollywood Regency style Sam Fink small vanity mirror. In gold tone metal it feature flowers around the rim with 2 young children or cupids reclining on the edge. Has 4 feet and velvetine backing in maroon. Small in size. Measuring 7 3/4" x 5 3/8" and oval in shape. In excellent vintage condition, with no cracks, and only a small area of clouding as pictured. It comes in its original box!
