This fabulous early dresser is from Chicora Wood Plantation; an historical Rice plantation in South Carolina that was built in 1817. We believe this dresser to have its original rich finish. Original marble and mirror and the original early wood ring drawer pulls that are attached with wooden screws and blocks, and the original casters intact on the base. This high quality dresser has early dove-tailed construction on the dresser base top up under the marble and also on the drawer ends; and an old label with an original owners name handwritten with Chicora, SC written below on the base up under the marble. This dresser has a grand, majestic presence with incredible carvings and details; and amazingly left in its original state.you can almost feel the history in this piece when you touch it.incredible! This grand 19th century dresser measures 89 1/2 inches tall to the top of the fancy carved crest on the mirror. In wonderful vintage condition ~ comb is still in original package. Part of this set is still in the box it was originally shipped in. With name and company handwritten on the label. It also says"Los Angeles" so I suspect it is a vintage Hollywood style. Brush with handle has been gently used. This auction is for a vintage table top vanity. It is made of solid wood. But I'm not sure what kind. It is in good vintage condition and it's a really cute piece. I've taken close up photos so that I represent it accurately. The mirror is in good shape. However swivel is a bit"loose" mirror doesn't hold in place tightly) The finish is a bit crackled. The tips of the 2 back feet were broken and re-glued, but they really don't show from the front view(I've included close up photos of the feet front and back) I've removed the mirror for shipping. It is easily reattached with a small screwdriver.

Vintage Travelling Vanity Set- Dresser Set. The leather black case has moiré taffeta lining and includes brush. Comb, mirror, nail file; and glass lotion jar, 2 perfume bottles and a powder bottle. The lids and the backs of the mirror and brush have pretty lime green plastic. The case is 12 x 9.5 x 3.5 inches deep. Condition of the items is good. The carrying handle to the case is broken.

Vintage Vanity Dresser Set - Comb & Hand Mirror - Nice Estate Find!
Up for auction is a vintage comb and hand mirror vanity set. The comb measures 7 1/4 inches in length and the mirror 7 3/4 inches in length. They are not marked but appear to be made very well. Some sort of metal. Both pieces are in great shape. I'm not sure if their age. Only that they are old. 40's-60's? This was an estate find. The metal needs to be cleaned and should polish out nicely. Primitive Vintage or Antique Pine Doll Dresser w/Pivoting Mirror & Large Drawer
Offered is this great-looking antique primitive pine doll dresser. It has a moveable mirror and one large drawer. The piece stands 16” high. Is 7 1/4” wide and is about 7” deep, including the drawer pull. It is in very good condition. The only problems: the back upright portion holding the mirror leans forward a bit and the wooden frame holding the mirror moves up and down a little on one side. However. The mirror will pivot and is secure in the frame. I don’t know for sure how old this piece is but looks like it was“homemade” in the late 1800s-early 1900s to me.
