Unique Victorian 36" diameter Foyer Round Marble Top Table The round table has a marble top measuring 36" in diameter and is 29" high. It appears to be quarter sewn oak and has floral carvings by each of the lyre. The table probable is from the late 1920's but not too sure. Might be earlier. A completely restored table like this one is being sold for over $3000.00 by a very famous Los Angeles antiquarian In the pictures the marble has like an ivory tint while in fact is white ground with grey veins. There are some spots in the marble that I would consider not too visible but there are there. Please note that the 5 legs' foot would need re-touching. Antique Victorian Drop Center Marble Top Dresser w/ Pivot Mirror
A very cute little dresser brought up from Georgia to the Asheville NC area 20 years ago. Judging from the style and the candle shelves on either side. Late 19th Century. Features the original marble. Clean and unbroken, the original antique mirror, all of the original drawer pulls of figured brass, and the original casters. Original finish- has not been stripped. Stands about 80 inches high and 16 inches deep- it is a smallish piece and stands nice and shallow out from the wall- perfect for a small guest room or an accent to a large room. I'm not certain. But the wood is probably walnut. The five drawers all work just fine and have unusual'round peg dovetailing' construction(shown above in a detail shot) The hardware is ALL original EXCEPT that the bolts that originally held the pivoting mirror have been replaced by heavy screws. ... moreWhich doesn't affect the look of it too much(and they could be fairly inexpensively restored with something vintage) The mirror section is removable to facilitate moving. A very handsome piece. With minimal scratches and wear. The hand-carved details are a bit on the rustic side and not terribly fussy or'polished' workmanship. Almost folk arty. It is a solid piece and nice and usable still, with a decidedly'country' feel to it. The piece is actually quite light once the drawers are pulled out for transport and is not too heavy to lift at all. I love the carved details and personality of the thing! I do not want to ship it if I can help it- would prefer local sale. We live in Mars Hill. North Carolina, just 20 minutes from Asheville and easy directions to find us. I can help move it as well. This is an antique dresser with a beveled marble top(marble recently replaced) and candle-stands flanking the large mirror in the middle. The greatest thing about this piece is the decorative top that attaches via pegs to the top of the mirror(see pics) It has rolling wheels on the bottom. So it's easy to move around. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Marble-top Drop Center Dresser
This bureau belonged to my grandmother. Unfortunately. I do not have space for it any longer. I believe this is"Victorian Eastlake" It is in very good original condition with original hardware. Sold as is. No one has painted, refinished or otherwise tampered with it. There was never a mirror from the time my grandmother acquired it. Local pick-up only! Dimensions are: 51 inches wide. 19 inches front to back and 33 inches at the tallest point. It is a large piece and heavy but the side sections with small drawers and the marble pieces come off for moving. Probably best to have a van or large-ish SUV to move it.

Dropped finials, rosettes and recessed oval panels of burl with filigree burl panels encasing the ovals.The drawer pulls are masterfully carved and the unique original key works all the locks on the drawers. The drawer ends offer period dove-tailing and there is old felt lining inside each drawer.The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful, truly a statement piece! This piece measures a total height of 84 inches to the top of the crest. Total width of 55 1/4 inches, height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 36 inches,total depth of the base is 21 ... moreinches, and this piece weighs approximately 160 lbs total and does dis-assemble into four pieces(base, marble, shelf portion, crest)for easier handling during shipping and moving. The Lovely display shelf measures 48 inches wide,12 inches deep and is 23 inches from the shelf to the marble. The original key does work the locks on the drawers but just aids in opening the doors.The locks are there but appear stuck. This fabulous 19th century sideboard has a wow presence for sure and is solid and tight and in excellent antique condition for being approximately 130 years or so old. There is a small piece of the grapevine carving missing at the tip end of the grape cluster on the crest, and a tiny piece of molding missing on the right side right above the marble(see next to last picture) and the left door does present with a slight age shrinkage separation in the center that is not very noticeable but there, all which I have tried to capture in the pictures, nothing major in my opinion but wanted to point them out. An impressive, elegant sideboard that has withstood time very gracefully and would surely be a splendid focal point and a touch of elegance and grandeur to your home. P

This is a white and gray grain marble top table with a heavily carved base. Dating from the 1870s or‘80s. It was ... moremost likely partially made by Thomas Brooks, but we can’t guarantee it. It certainly has the heavily carved trademark style of Brooks. It has carving on every part of the base you can see, including burl panels, big carved leaves, incise carving, fluted tapered center columns, amazing carved skirts. The only thing I can see that is a negative is that the marble itself could use some bleaching or buffing. It’s 130 years old, so it looks period, and will look fantastic if cleaned, polished, or replaced. The overall size is 32 inches wide on the marble, 25 inches deep, and 30.5 inches tall. A Top Table. Victorian by Kimball, Mahogany with a rose design and an Italian beveled oval marble. There is not much to say about this table, a thing of beauty stands out and out last's the test of time. This piece is a quality reproduction of a Victorian Top Table. Kimball is a maker of fine furniture and this is one of their finer pieces. The table measures 26" tall. The legs are all equal at 18" across, the marble( grey) is 22" long, 18" wide and 1" thick. The pedestal is 29" tall by 13" wide ~ the removable marble top is 9" by 9” The pedestal has aged quite well and is in excellent antique/vintage used condition ~ nice patina ~ marble top in great condition. Splendid Rope Twist Walnut Rose Marble Top Victorian Parlor Lamp Table c1880's Being offered for sale is this splendid Rope Twist Walnut Victorian Rose Marble Top Lamp Parlor Table circa 1880's.This lovely 19th century table features gorgeous rose marble resting on a detailed apron with half rope twists accents and carvings at the corners. A ring turned center pedestal, four rope twist supports and out-swept carved legs; and has its original brass casters intact. The carvings right above the legs looks a lot like folded butterfly wings! This table measures 30 inches tall.31 inches wide by 21 inches deep and weighs approximately 50 lbs. This table is tight and sturdy and in excellent antique condition with no issues we can find.
