Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut& Burl Marble Top Side/ Music Cabinet c1875 Being offered for sale is this elaborate Walnut& Burl Walnut Marble Top Victorian Renaissance Revival Music/ side cabinet that features splendid applied and incised carvings from top to bottom. This fine 19th century piece features its original mirror at the back and the original white marble top with shaped front corners and the casters intact on the base. This beautiful cabinet appears to have had the pulls replaced at some point in time but with period brass and ebony teardrop pulls. The lock on the cabinet door is no longer there and the pull was added to aid in opening the door. The old mirror does show some streaking and silver loss as expected for its age but does not warrant replacing in my opinion. This cabinet is a great size to be utilized for ... morestorage with style and elegance in about any room of your home. measurements: 60 inches high height to marble 41 3/4 inches 31 1/2 inches wide 20 inches deep weighs approx. 95 lbs. There are no marks identifying the maker however. In research we have found identical tables that are paint decorated and manufactured by Herter Bros. New York and we believe this to be an example by them as well. The marble is mottled gray and white and sits on a walnut base. It stands 30-1/2” high with the marble in place and the ¾” thick marble top measures 24” x 38” The inside of the drawer measures 20” x 17-1/4” and is 2” deep. Condition: Sometime during its life it has been refinished and has had some gluing repairs. The marble has a tight 4” stress hairline and with the cut of the marble shaped as it is there are typical fine nicks found along the edges. A Victorian 19th century bamboo rattan server. Or bar featuring a marble top and six sky blue glazed tiles. The rattan has the original mottled finish. And the front legs have an interesting splay. There is a woven rush covered door with a working latch enclosing a two compartment interior. Woven rush also covers the bottom shelf on both sides of the cabinet. The tiles are secured with the original, old stamp decorated metal pins, and the top of the back posts are capped with beautiful stamped roundels. The tiles are backed by the original old pine board. The entire piece is in excellent condition, with no damage or repairs. The tiles and marble top are in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. The marble has been broke and repaire and is a very tight fix with no gaps(well done) The marble has been permantly attached to the base. It has its original mirrored back. there are no breaks or repairs in the wood and it is a 2 piece. The drawer is in great working order and dovetailed. The wood is a tiger maple. and has a great finish. Both pieces are a original match pair. The marble only shows very minor wear. Has the fancier beveled edge and shaped for the table. If you want a perfect oval top marble table?keep looking. If you'd like a decent looking MT table at an affordable price here it is. I used this upstairs in a bedroom. I am sure it was originally in a parlor as its still a pretty table you could use it in a parlor. It has an older repair to one legs in a couple of places with a re-glue and bracket screwed on both sides. Depending on how you place the table you'd never see it. The top is while marble and it has some scratches on it. These can be buffed out by a marble and tile guy and frankly if you have perfect base and need an oval top the price is worth it just for the top. This is real MT base as its open and always had a marble top Dimensions are 21x27 1/4 and its 29 inches high. This listing is for a nice Victorian oval marble top coffee table. The marble is in excellent condition with the exception of one small"scuff" about 1 1/2" that could probably be buffed out. See photo# 7} There are no stains on the top. The top measures 45 7/8"x 28" x 7/8" and is beveled around the outer edge. The veining throughout the marble{ made in Italy and very heavy} is superior. The base is expertly carved in a floral motif. There are some scratches and scuffs on the lower base. And on one side are some white paint drips that could probably be easily removed. It looks like someone was painting something in the vicinity of the table and some spatter got on it; See the photos} The base measures 44 1/4" L x 27"W x18 1/2" H. Spectacular Antique Victorian Marble Top Parlor Table. Exceptional details on this table set it apart from the rest. Intricate and unusual pierced carvings on the legs. Very little blank area anywhere on the table. Lots of carving, cutouts and curves. The white marble top is original to the table, nicely beveled ends and cut corners to follow the lines of the table. White wheels, also original to the table are a big plus. Very sturdy construction. For the sake of accuracy, there are a couple of insignificant marks on the marble, and a small 3 1/2" crack line on one end which does not show on the bottom of the marble so it is not all the way through. Beveled edge white marble top is original to the piece. Very heavy wood and well constructed. Overall in great condition for a 125 year old. The marble has two cracks running fairly central along the width. About 6" each in from the sides. Neither crack however shows up on the bottom of the marble, so it is not as bad as it sounds. This is a vintage. Victorian styled plant stand with a marble top. I'm not sure of the age- it isn't new but it probably isn't antique either. Our best guess is that it was made sometime in the 1940s-1960s. The base is wood and ornately carved with classical elements like swags, acanthus leaves and scrolls. Three angelic cherubs sit atop the scrolled feet. A handsome piece that could serve as a side table or a display stand for plants or statues. The stand has a marble top that was once glued in place, but is now removable. There is a hole drilled in the center of the marble. The stand is in great shape. Very strong and solid, it rests stable with no wobbles. There are some chips to the gold paint, but no major damage. PAIR TOP QUALITY VICTORIAN OPALINE STRIPED GLASS CORNUCOPIA ON MARBLE
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR LOTS OF PHOTOS. This is a wonderful pair of Victorian cornucopia vases. It is a long time since I last saw a pair of these in good order. The trumpet vases have opaline stripes in a pink shade of mauve and white and are housed in gilded brass hands and mounted on an alabaster or marble base. These are spectacular display pieces and date to around 1870 or so. Condition is very good- no damage to the glass. The glass is firmly held in the metal hand, there are a few tiny nibbles to the marble base bottoms. Measuring 6.25 inches(16cm) tall. base is 5 inches by 3 inches across. Weight 1.3kg. Wonderful quality.

I purchased this table about 4 years ago and I know for over 20 years it was used on a very famous tv soap opera series but hasn't looked this good since it was made. Table dates to about 1870 and presumed to be made in NY by no doubt a good firm. It has all the bells and whistles when it comes to Victorian furniture, pierced carved skirts that hang way down, carved knees, carved hoof feet, and the best 1-1/4" thick black and gold'paturo' marble which is rare in itself. Vintage Marble Top Coffee Table "VICTORIAN MARKED" Carved Roses, Antique
Beautiful dark rich dark wood with roses and leaves carved into table front and back sides. Marble is white with streaks of gray in the stone. Oval shaped table and oval marble top with a beveled edge. Photo reflects some stain on marble. Also a visible scratch on side it also has some of the finish rubbed off under the marble where it lays onto the wood base. Not visible with marble in place. This piece does have the mark"Victorian" located under the marble on wood. I have researched this item and found several bits of information but am unsure of exact details are accurate. Research indicates. Victorian marked indicates made during late 1890's-1901. Other searches say this is a Kimball made piece from 1950's. Either way. It is an amazing piece. Great condition. I believe this to be the work of John Belter from the Victorian era. Needs total restoration but is in solid condition. Check the pictures closely. Notice the early dovetailing. Having burled walnut panel dove-tailed drawers with glass drawer pulls, and three original marble slab tops. Circa 1885-1890's. Two small square drawers at the top. And two large, long drawers below. The piece is on the original four casters(wheels) No mirror- not sure if it ever had one. You can use this as a dresser. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. Also great for storing old linens, clothes, and textiles. CONDITION: Excellent ... morecondition with a few minor scrapes. Scuffs, or scratches on either/both the wood and/or marble- nothing major. As to be expected, it could use a light cleaning and a good polishing before use, if not just to show it some love. Drawers slide as they should. All four casters present, although one keeps popping out of its hole if you lift it too high off the ground. Glass knobs may or may not be the original hardware. No key, but if you try a few sizes of skeleton/cabinet keys, you're sure to find one that will work the locks. Marble tops have no chips or cracks. No musty odors. From a smoke free home/environment. Sweet smaller size Victorian credenza with original Tennessee sausage marble. Great looking cabinet that would fit about anywhere you need it. As you can see from the pictures.
