Marble Top Victorian Antique Bedroom Dresser with Mirror and decorative top
This is an antique dresser with a beveled marble top(marble recently replaced) and candle-stands flanking the large mirror in the middle. The greatest thing about this piece is the decorative top that attaches via pegs to the top of the mirror(see pics) It has rolling wheels on the bottom. So it's easy to move around. The top can be removed from the bottom via screws on the back of the mirror. All in all. I'd say it's in good condition, but has been stored and of course needs a good cleaning. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Marble-top Drop Center Dresser
This bureau belonged to my grandmother. Unfortunately. I do not have space for it any longer. I believe this is"Victorian Eastlake" It is in very good original condition with original hardware. Sold as is. No one has painted, refinished or otherwise tampered with it. There was never a mirror from the time my grandmother acquired it. Local pick-up only! Dimensions are: 51 inches wide. 19 inches front to back and 33 inches at the tallest point. It is a large piece and heavy but the side sections with small drawers and the marble pieces come off for moving. Probably best to have a van or large-ish SUV to move it.

This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches. Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. This piece is heavy to move on my own. And the lighting was not the best for taking pictures. I am assisting a friend in selling this piece. It has been in their family for a long time. Gently used Victorian-period furniture. Having burled walnut panel dove-tailed drawers with glass drawer pulls, and three original marble slab tops. Circa 1885-1890's. Two small square drawers at the top. And two large, long drawers below. The piece is on the original four casters(wheels) No mirror- not sure if it ever had one. You can use this as a dresser. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. The center top of the mirror is graced with a beautiful scrolled foliate crown with carved grape cluster center. Roses and foliate. The swivel mirror appears to be original(some slight silver dusting)and is framed in rosewood and rests between highly carved rosewood arm supports. The step-back dresser base features two smaller glove box drawers for which there is a key that works the locks with the original gray marble below(some mild edge dings and nics) with three large storage drawers at the base. This dresser has period dove-tailed joinery on the drawers and the casters intact on the base. There is a key that works the lock on the middle large drawer but the locks appear stuck on the top and bottom drawers.
