We have resprayed it in satin sheen lacquer, but it could use a good sanding and a rub finish to bring out the luster finish. It is all soldi black walnut with Eastlake carvings throughout. It has burl panel accents trims on the mirror, doors, drawers, bed and headboard are awesome. It came out of a home on the east coast. The overall size of the bed on the outside is 57 inches wide, 37 inches high on the footboard and 78 inches high on the headboard.

Antique Victorian Celluloid Glove Vanity Dresser Box Jewelry Children In Country
Victorian celluloid glove box with a beautiful country scene with children. The box measures 13 1/2" long X 4 1/2" wide X 3" high. Condition is good considering its age. There are however some cracks on the celluloid on each side of the box as we show in the pictures. The right side when facing the box is the worst one. The left side only has a split on the edging and one on the corner. The longer sides, front, back and top are looking very good except for some minor splitting on the top at each end(very minor) The inside of the box has a lot of wear on the silk lining as seen in the picture. This well crafted example has a moulded edge top with a stunning carved frieze over a central bank of two long drawers and cupboard doors enclosing a shelve flanked either side by two further drawers and panel cupboard doors with moulding detailing being raised on squat feet with a carved apron. Up for sale. Is a gorgeous, original Art Nouveau era sterling silver hand mirror made by fine American silver maker, William Kerr& Co. The mirror is a beautiful example of Art Nouveau styling, featuring high relief flowers and swirls. The hand mirror measures 10" long and 5 1/2" wide at the widest point. There is no monogram. The sterling portion of the mirror has no splits or repairs. But there are some dings. There are some very small dings on the top surface of the mirror, some dings along the side edge, and there is a large indentation on the back side of the handle, which can be seen in the photos. The mirror itself is still reflective, but there is some spotting due to age. The spotting is more pronounced on the edges of the mirror. Antique Dresser Box with two celulloid combs and hair accessories. The long comb is 7" and has a removable metal decorative piece in the handle. I am not sure what type of metal though it appears to be brass. The small comb is 4" long and also has a metal piece on the handle and has a case it sits in that has initials A U ingraved on it. The small comb is missing 2 teeth. There are three 3 1/4" long hair clips and three 2 1/2" hair clips. Also included is bobby pin with a large rhinestone. The box has a round mirror and has satin gather around it as well as padded satin on the bottom. The box is 7" wide x 5 1/2" deep x 2 1/2" tall. This is an Antique Late 1800's Victorian Natural Tone Oak Dresser with Original Brass Drawer Pulls and Key Locks/ Hardware. 44.5 inches wide x 33 inches tall x 19.5 inches deep. Has 4 dovetail drawers and metal caster wheels. Key to the locks is unavailable. The lower drawer bottom has been replaced. All drawers are opening and closing properly. Item is structurally sound for it's age. Caster wheels are all rolling. Top back right corner has a slight warp on the tabletop with separation and a small crack. Shouldn't be a problem for most. It's not noticeable when standing against a wall. Item was lightly sanded and clear varnished in the mid 1970's. Small top drawers are 18 inches wide x 5.5" tall. This is a sweet little box with a pink fabric lining It has its original hinges and brass hardware. The top is celluloid. And the sides are covered with floral paper. The condition is very good. Celluloid is all good. Some light moisture stains on the outside paper. It looks like it may have held a shaving mug and brush. Although it could have held something else. Lot of 3 Antique Victorian Wool Work Embroidery Dresser ScarvesTassles Fringe
These 3 pieces have some amazing workmanship and are beautiful but are not completed. Not in good condition and you may want to purchase them as cutters and for the tassels. The first measures 50" by 16" with 2" tassels. Red wool with two areas of(I believe) silk white flowers and soft high relief two-toned embroidered leaves and stems. The third panel on the right is flowers and stems with regular embroidery thread. Border on one long side only has two rows of wool fringe with gold thread and tassels comprised of two frayed wool yarn matching fringe above and a silk wrapped wood bead. There are 45 tassels and of those. 16 are in what I would consider very good condition; 8 are missing the silk bead entirely; and the remainder are in various threadbare stages and range from good to poor condition. There is some soil/discoloration ... moreon the front and a few small holes which I attempted to photograph. The second piece measures 55" X 16" with 2" tassels. Red wool with 5" red velvet strips on the ends. The embroidered areas on this piece are similar to the first- one area has the silk flowers and the other is all high relief soft embroidery. Which has a few threadbare areas I photographed the largest. This piece has no fringe and 5 tassels on each short end. These are unique and varied- two have a metal mesh case; 5 have a painted wood bead with a small round bead(some of the round beads are missing) and one has a 5-point spear. Two are missing hardware completely. Some tassels are attached by pin rather than thread. This piece has some soil on the front and a few small holes. The third piece measures 56" X 16" with 2" tassels. Is made of green wool, appears unfinished and has been cut. Ther is one area of beautiful embroidery with red fabric flowers and the same two-toned high relief soft leaves, but it has been cut into. There is no needlework on the other side or the middle of this piece, and there is a second area that is cut- not just slit but there is a small wedge

Victorian Antique Vintage Celluloid Vanity Dresser Case Box With Accesories
Up for auction is this absolutely stunning celluloid covered vanity case for a dressing table. This original Victorian antique is in remarkable condition for the age. I have not seen many of these and this is by far the best! Possessing all of the accessories is remarkable. There is a nail buffer. Two little pots for rouge and a brush and comb. The accessories are celluloid or French Ivory. The top opens, the two front doors open and a small drawer for jewelry slides open on the front. All of the clasps are in good working order- REMARKABLE! No repairs or enhancements have been done to this piece but very little is needed. There is some minor loss of the celluloid around the edges and bottom, there is a crack on the bottom board that you can't see nor does it detract from the piece. The inside satin lining is original and shows some fading, ... moreone of the oval trim decorations on the inside is detached but in good condition. These defects are minor on a piece of this age and material. The case is 12"wide, 13 1/2" high and 8" deep. Victorian and Ladies vanity collectors do not miss this opportunity.
