The finish on the mirror is in great condition, with only a few exceptionally light surface scratches and dings to it. For auction here we have a beautiful carved oak Victorian sideboard dating to the latter part of the 19th century. This impressive sideboard of large proportions has a large mirror upstand with ornate carved showframe over a base of inverted breakfront form with frieze drawers supported by twin pedestals with ornately carved fielded panel doors united by undertier and raised on plinth base. The carving throughout is of high quality with floral detailing and crisp edges. The sideboard is in good working order with no worm or splits. The only worthy note being that some of the top crest carving is missing but its not noticeable and one side could be adapted to match the other if needed. This is a beautiful little French dresser box or jewelry/trinket box dating probably around Victorian era. It's wood with decorative detail border and what appears to be a foiled plaster cameo of Grueze' Jeune Fille aux Tourterelles. A girl with birds and a basket of fruit(very famous French painter) There is some damage to the foiling on the cameo as part of it is coming off. It has brass hardware and a locking mechanism to which I do not have the key. It has nice patina, normal wear, scratches etc. for an old box. Measurements are 6 3/4x 2 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches. Antique Victorian Walnut Highly Carved Bedroom Suite Bed/Dresser/Night Stand
An exquisite antique bedroom suite all original dating to the mid to late 1800's. This is a 3 piece set made from walnut. Burl walnut and veneer and accented with marble and original hardware that comes with the following pieces. Bed: The stunning bed is sure to be a focal point in the room. The headboard stands 70" high at the back center. It is 65" wide at the widest point. The footboard measures 38" in height at the center. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. The upper edges of the headboard are done in an elaborate acanthus leaf pattern and a matching pattern surrounds the birds in the center. The details on the birds is incredible with finely details individual feathers. There are losses to the veneer on this and there is also a section of wood missing on the carved back area. ... moreThe footboard has a metal strip on the back of it holding the two boards together and there is a paper coating it that has losses. There are age and use appropriate dings and scratches to the frame that one would expect to find on an item of this age. Dresser: The dresser has a beautiful black and gold and white veined marble top. This is one solid sheet of marble. There are some light scratches on the marble but there are no cracks in this piece. The dresser stands 37" high to the top of the marble slab. It is 36.25" wide and at the widest depth it is 21.5" It stands 74" high to the top of the mirror at the center. There are some light losses to the carving and scratches from use on this as well. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. The edges are also trimmed with an acanthus motif. There is a single drawer above two doors that open to reveal shelving. There is a lock on this and it does work. Divine Opaline This is a lovely piece of blue opaline glass; a large stoppered cologne bottle with detailed gold and enamel decoration. Likely made in France around the turn of the century. Antique Victorian Walnut Drop Well Dresser w/ Marble Tops Ornate Hand Carving
We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique drop well dresser. Constructed from walnut. This piece is ornately carved. The piece stands 91.5" high at the center of the mirror. The base is 44.5" wide at the bottom and 44" wide at the top of the drawers. It has an overall depth of 18 1/8" and the height of the center well is 16 5/8" The hardware on this has been replaced but still matches quite well. The pulls all have lion faces on them. The marble slabs that sit on the top of the drawers have a space that is approximately 1/2 an inch on each side where the wood shows. I am unsure as to whether these pieces were replaced or not. The slab of marble that sits on top of the well fits snugly and appears to be original to the piece. The mirror has beveled glass and is in good condition. There are some age separation cracks on the side panels and there is also a crack on the inside panel on the left side. This is a very nice antique Victorian maple mirror for a dresser or chest of drawers. Typically used on a five drawer tall chest or highboy. It retains it's original beveled glass and measures aprox. 34 1/2" wide x 23" high with just the mirror being 17 1/2" wide x 19 1/4" high. The glass is nice and clean and it retains it's original back. There is a small piece of applied carving missing at the lower left corner, otherwise it is fine. Antique Victorian Dresser/Vanity/Toothbrush Box Rose Finial
Up for auction is this stunning antique wash stand vanity set box for a toothbrush. This is heavy china unglazed on the bottom. Lid rim and bass top. The decoration is a beautiful robin’s egg blue. Then garlands of flowers around the lid and base bowl. The only mark on the piece is the embossed number“119” The lid is pierced and has a gilded rose finial. The inside of the bowl has brackets to hold the brush and allow drying. The box is 8 3/8” long. 3 ¾” wide, and 3 ¾” tall to the top of the lid finial. There is a small gap in the unglazed rim on the underside(this is not a crack. Does not go through, but is shrinkage from when this was made common in iron stone) The piece is in excellent vintage condition with no nicks. Chips or cracks. ebay allows 12 pictures. for this piece that is not nearly enough to do a decent job in describing and showing it. at any rate. Here is a wonderful antique serpentine front dresser most likely by mitchell and rammelsburg. if not by them, someone equally as gifted in furniture making. the dresser is mahogany and stands 94.5 inches tall on its original porcelain casters. it is 49 inches wide and 24 inches deep. it has 4 drawers. the one at the bottom does not appear to be a drawer. it was crafted to be a hidden drawer. there are no pulls on it and it is carved differently to appear as the bottom splash board of the dresser. the dresser is quite heavy, the drawers are well made with the front serpentine boards being about 1.25 inches thick. notice the joints of the drawers, all hand cut dovetails which date the piece to circa 1870-1880. it has ... morea large mirror harp as you can see that is pierced carved and has candle stands, finials, crests, and other nice details that make this a very desirable dresser. the mirror is arch shaped and shows some smokiness and a little silver loss. the mirror is actually in better condition than most. i do not know if the mirror is original but the backing appears to be. at the base of the mirror harp on each side is a nice glove box with a drawer that is hand carved dovetails. i forgot to get pictures of these with the drawers open, nor did i show the four drawers of the dresser open as i ran out of picture spaces allowed by ebay. the drawers all open with ease and each drawer is designed for its specific space. i have a book that is dated 1991 that lists a dresser like this but not as nice for 2250.00. it has great form and beauty, the front of the dresser corners are especially nice. the marble is original and is in great condition for its age. any questions please ask and if you want more pictures i have several and would be glad to supply them, again just ask for what you want. the dresser may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i know the pictures are bad, i

Antique Victorian Eastlake/Aesthetic walnut 5 drw dresser w/pull out shelf
Offered for auction is this very nice circa 1870's-1880's AestheticWalnut Victorian chest of drawers. The chest is a very nice small size. 38" t x 30" w x 19" d. It has 5 graduated drawers and under the top drawer is a pull out flat shelf for writing or folding clothes(see pic 4) The front stiles have nice Aesthetic carvings at the top and the sides are recessed rectangular panels surrounded by molding. Plinth base and raised on casters. The stamped brass bail handles and backplates have a wonderful scenic design. The top has been used a lot so will need to be cleaned up and maybe even refinished due to all the scraping and scratches. But still is useable and functional. Antique Victorian portrait blue dresser box
This dresser box is 3 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide at the widest part. The box depicts a girl on the top. It is partly a transfer and partly hand painted. The color of the jar is light blue and it has gilded decoration on the outside near the bottom. The mounts are likely brass and have turned darker. The jar is not signed. This dates circa 1900. Offered for auction is this beautiful walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian double high back bedstead and half commode/somnoe and dresser w/mirror. The finish is a light walnut which appears to be in pretty good condition with some areas of discoloration. The headboard is 7'4" h x 5'4" w. Foot board is 3'2 1/2" tall. Takes a full double mattress. There is a large carved cartouche at the top of the multi curved headboard with large applied panels with walnut burl veneer. Main part of the headboard has two recessed panels with assymetrical curved tops. Sides of the headboard are topped by large carved and turned finials. Footboard has same raised molding but has an elaborate carved element in the middle of the curved footboard. Side boards have raised molding and fit into foot and headboards with double hooks that ... morefit into notched holes. Up for auction is this beautiful Antique Hand painted Puff Box. Fire opalescent frosted glass. Jar lid with loving couple. Condition on this is outstanding. Artwork Wow. Rare find. The size of puff box measures 6" across and 4. 1/2 wide. Brass/ bronze footed feet. Size is 5 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 tall. The original tag is still on item($800.00) Most of my items are from estate sale/auctions. Age of item is a guess late 1890'S I enjoy this as a past time bringing unique items for sale. Hi. You are bidding on a beautiful BEAUTIFUL Victorian porcelain handpainted portrait dresser box. It is marked with a number 4624 and then 78 under that. The box is in good condition and closes nicely. The box is lined with silk or satin and that is fraying a bit but I still think it is in pretty good shape for age. The size is about six and a half inches by three inches. The box has a light pink color with gold highlights. I took close-ups so that you can see the beauty of the painting. From an Estate we have an Antique porcelain Vase or hat pin Holder Dresser doll figurine. She is white in color with painted flowers with gold trim with greyish hair and she is holding a fan. She measure appr. 9" tall by 5" at her widest. We can find no damage. Just a few of the usual manufacture flaws when made. Also looks like something may have run out of the back hole down the back of her dress, tried scratching some of it off and it some of it did come off, but didn't try cleaning all of it, light in color what ever it is, see photos. Beautiful turn of the century 12 piece sterling womens dresser set. Full sets like this are very hard to find especially with the perfume bottles. Most all of the pieces are monogrammed with the initials ECG and stamped sterling ALVIN 3100. The beveled glass mirror is original and glass powder jar is heavy cut glass. As with the age there are a few dings in the sterling and a few flea bites to the cut glass power jar but nothing that's glaringly obvious. It has a white beveled marble top, mirror, two candle/lamp stands, and four graduated drawers. The drawer pulls are gargoyle heads. All the drawers have locks, but I don't have keys.
