Five of the pieces have the makers mark of CJF for Charles James Fox. The comb has a different maker. The mark is rubbed, it has the date letter f for 1901. The rest have the date letter R for 1900. All are marked with the Lion Passant for sterling and either London or Chester. The mirror measures 9 3/4" in length. It has a couple of edge ding's and discoloration to the beveled glass. The grooming brushes measure 7" to 8 3/4" in length. The handled brushes have one tiny 1/4" or less, edge tear. The bristles have an aged patina and are clean smelling. You can hear a rattle in some as the cement holding ... morethe brushes in place has started to loosen, not unusual for the antique pieces. They are secure. The comb has a few dings. All teeth are present. All pieces have small scattered dings that get lost in the design and the same fancy monogram. Looks like AMM. Good antique condition. Vintage Retro Pink Plastic 13.5" tall Standing/ Folding Vanity or Travel Mirror Click on pic to enlarge Additional Pictures are below the description. Here is a unique item. I believe it is a travel or vanity table mirror that folds flat for storage/ opens to stand. Made of pink hard plastic with mirror glass on both sides(regular glass on one side/ magnifying glass on the other side) Mirror can be flipped/ turned. Has a silvertone metal screw and wing nut to tighten the stand. Simply loosen the screw to fold flat. The base feet have little flower designs in the plastic. With shell shapes in between. Another shell design below the glass. Little leaf designs at the arm ends by the glass. Designs appear on both sides. As a standing mirror it measures approx. 11 3/4" long front to back and 4 3/4" across the base feet. Approx. ... more7" across the arms. The mirror glass itself is about 5 1/8" across(not including the pink frame) The mirror frame is about 1/2" thick and the arms are about 3/8" thick. Laying flat the mirror measures approx. 13 3/4" long x 7" wide. I found that the mirror swings to the position as shown in the first picture. To keep it in an upright position I had to wedge a little piece of folded paper in between the frame and mirror. No chips or cracks. Mirror glass has minor wear. A 1 1/4" scratch on the regular side. Very minor spots along the edge rim. The plastic has some rough surface edges- how it was made. No musty or smoke odor. Brot is a french family business that has been making fine high quality mirrors for over 5 generations& 150 years. Creating exceptional quality. Distortion free magification with shadow free light source& lens. This piece stands 15 1/2" in height. 10 1/4" wide when closed, width extends to 28 1/2" with both sides fully extended, 6" depth with base. Very Good condition but it is vintage so there is surface normal surface wear& spot blemishes to the finish on the base(see image) This is not unusual for the age of the piece& does not detract from its beauty. Table is about 49 1/2" long. The mirror is about 41" tall and 24" wide. Vanity is about 19" wide(front to back) Drawers are about 14" wide and top drawers are about 3" deep. Antique 1916 Mahogany Dresser / Dressing Table / Vanity with Mirror
THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN IRWIN. PA 15642 ONLY. NO SHIPPING. Antique vanity/ dresser/ dressing table with mirror. The finish is a dark brown. As shown in the pictures. The facing is missing in a couple places. The mirror has two side mirrors that fold in and out. It has 5 drawers; each drawer has a lock mechanism that looks like it accepts the old style skeleton keys, but I don't have a key for it. The size is about 20 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 59 inches high. Although I can't tell what they mean, there are several markings on it. Stamped into the wood on the back are the numbers 4474 and 57. 4474 seems like it was important to the manufacturer, because it is in 3 separate places. The mirror is very delicately attached to the dresser. I took the wooden back panel off the mirror to see how it was attached and figure out ... morehow to make it more sturdy, and discovered that the back of the mirror is stenciled with the date June 13, 1916 and an"N" and a"P" which may be the mirror manufacturer's logo. On the inside of the wooden back panel are the words"4474 Mahogany" hand written in cursive pencil. The number"48-88" is stenciled inside the back panel also. 4474 Mahogany Toilet" is also hand written in pencil inside one of the left hand drawers, along with what looks to be the"48-88" again. I looked online but couldn't find information on what these numbers mean or where the vanity came from(or how much it's really worth) I also don't know if"Mahogany" is meant to be the color of the finish, or the type of wood it's made of. The mirror doesn't come off for transportation. It is attached only with 4 screws through the wood mirror frame into the desk part. Which is why the center mirror rocks back and forth a little when the vanity is moved. It could be braced more securely but I don't want to put more screws into it, the new owner can do that. This auction is for a vintage not antique victorian style free standing oval shaped mirror in an ornate metal frame. The condition is good no chips or cracks. The metal has age related wear and the mirror has an area of discoloration as shown in the third pic. It measures 141/2" high and 9" across. It has no markings that I see. It is a nice old mirror for use and display on a vanity or dresser. It is being sold as found and will need some cleaning. If you have any questions please ask. ANTIQUE ART DECO VANITY MIRROR Upright, Easel, Corn Stalk & Leaves Frame, 1920s
Listed for your consideration is a vintage. Or antique oval mirror, framed in two stalks with leaves. The mirror is designed to stand on a dresser or vanity and has a standing easel. The easel is sturdy and has a guard, to protect it from bending too far back and breaking. The whole item measures 18-1/2 inches x 14-1/2 inches. The mirror alone measures 16 inches x 11-1/2 inches. The mirror is ART DECO. From the period of the 1920s-1930s. The detailed frame of the mirror is made of a carved wood, designed to look like the large leaves of corn stalks curling up along either side of the frame. The crossing of the stalks forms the base of the frame. Very original, very unique! Whimsical! Folksy! Stylish! Everything is original. Including the mirrorl. It is beveled along the entire outer edge and is in very good condition overall, however it does ... morehave some small areas of discoloration due to loss of silvering at the back, but not enough to require resilvering, as some old mirrors do. Fortunately, the darkened areas are limited to the edges, and do not interfere with the center of the mirror. There is a string at the back of the mirror for easy hanging. Although that was a later addition and not part of the original plan. The frame of the mirror is wood. With some paint and gilt. It is in very good condition, no cracks, no repairs, but there is some edgewear to the wood. The brown, felt back is attached to the frame with six small screws, easily removeable in order to access the mirror, if desired, for cleaning. Non-smoking environment. No odors. Clean. Vintage Vanity EXCELLENT Condition! I believe this is made of pine. I cannot find any makers marks or stamps on the piece. Solid wood! This comes from one owner who has well maintained this piece. Cardboard lining in the bottom of each drawer. Legs have spindle accents and finished off on wheels to make for easy moving! The mirror does have some inside running that can be seen. Offering for sale a Rare Antique RODEN BROS/ Birks STERLING SILVER Vanity Dresser Mirror Brush 5 pc Set This nicely detailed set dates to the engraved date of 1937 when the monogranned T&W( a family member) were married. Beautifully Engraved in a Floral Pattern with a Sterling Silver hallmark on each piece: Sterling 925 R(lion) They were carefully made in Toronto. Ontario Canada by Roden Bros Ltd. Then Birks later acquired this firm in the 1950's. The hand mirror measures approx. 12-1/2" long; the hair brush is 10" long; the other brush is 7" long; the comb is 8" long, the nail file is 5" long and clippers are 4.5" long. These are used. But in great condition. There is some light typical wear, as to be expected with a 75 year old dresser set. This is a truly unusual vintage Art Deco black and brushed chrome double-sided beveled glass vanity hand mirror. It has a great Art Deco look about it. It is probably from the 1930s or 1940s. It has a standard mirror on both sides. When I first looked at it I was convinced it was bakelite. But it doesn't pass the"rub and smell test. It is in great condition with virtually no damage except for a couple of tiny dents on the chrome. But they're barely noticeable. The mirror has no marks or blemishes. It is marked with the company name Jewelite and the number 515 on the handle. It is also stamped U. S. A. right near that. Here is a wonderful art deco mid century beveled mirror with a curved chrome shelf with glass surface. It measures 28" long by 23" tall and 4" in depth at the base. The beautiful beveled mirror is in good usable condition with no cracks. The chromed bordered shelf is in nice condition as well. VTG/Antique Sterling Silver .925 Vanity Mirror and Brush w/Monogram - Beautiful!
Offering a beautiful antique vanity set- brush and mirror. Done in.925 sterling silver. The set is monogramed- difficult to tell what the initials actually are, which renders them relatively easily usable by anyone. They are truly lovely- mirror has slight loss of silvering on the mirror part, and on the back, there is an indention. Still lovely and incredibly desirable.

Vtg Antique International Sterling Silver Mirror& Brush Vanity Set Monogram S. Vintage or antique vanity set. Mirror and brush. Mirror measures a hair over 12 inches from top to bottom and width tops out at just under 4 inches. Brush measures 9.5 top to bottom and a bit under 2.75 inches at widest point. Both pieces show wear; there is a sub-surface scuffed area on the back of the brush and there are a few small marks on the mirror. In need of a cleaning and/or polish but generally in very good condition. Mirror is bevelled. Bristles are intact. TWO Large 9.25" brush has course bristles. Large 10" Mirror with 5.5" wide top. Weighs 300 grams. Mirror base is sturdy. There is a little movement at neck. Most likely from when enamel was damaged. Handle is good. Overall good condition. Nice sterling trim and bright blue guilloche enamel. Marked on sides with Y date letter for 1923.
