The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. A very unique antique. Tiger oak, hat box, claw feet, nice carving on the mirror base, serpentine front. Beveled glass mirror, and very ornate solid brass hardware. This is about 34" wide. 20" deep, dresser height 48 1/2" and with the mirror, 69 1/2" The casters have wood wheels. This has no broken parts and all of the drawers open and close easy. I will be listing 4 lots of furniture this week from a local estate. 3 are antique or vintage. 1 is modern. Furniture is big and heavy so"Pickup Only" If you are wealthy and want to pay someone to come pack it and ship, that would be fine, just no way for us to do it. If you live locally we may be able to arrange a time for the owner to meet you and show it to you, if convenient for all. The items are in Washington, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, 40 miles north of Morgantown WV, 30 miles east of wheeling WV, and about 150 miles from Columbus or Cleveland Ohio. The owner's son thinks that these 3 items were bought as a set. I found the Lea label inside the tall dresser, but I did not look for Lea markings on the other pieces. All are dark brownish red, made to look like cherry but I am pretty sure that ... moreis stained wood, too light to be real cherry. The tall dresser is 40x19 and 58" tall with drawers and central swinging doors. The bed is 62" wide and 85" long. Owner thinks it is a queen though the mattress seems smaller, maybe a double? Headboard is 55" tall, footboard 37" tall. The bigger wide dresser is actually 2 pieces. The base with drawers is 68" wide and 19 deep and 32" tall. Then the mirror part sits on top, it is 63" wide, 45" tall and 11" deep. I may send reasonable offers to the owner. But he is not in a huge hurry so low-balling offers will be ignored, at least for now.

Offered is a Vintage/Antique Bedroom Set that consists of: Double Head Board and Foot Board. Tall Chest, Dresser and Mirror. These pieces were sold by The Adams Furniture Company LTD, Toronto. This company was in operation in the late 1800's and the last information I can find on them is a catalog from 1910 and an article written in 1912. So the age of this bedroom set cannot be accurately determined. The story is that the Canadian man who owned this set, bought it sometime in the 1940's from a doctor in Canada when he got married. There is no way to tell how long the doctor owned this set before he or she sold it. The bedroom set is in pretty good shape considering age and is very functional. If one desired. It could stand to be refinished or left in it's original state for the character. I took many pictures so you could get ... morea good idea of condition. The company information I could find stated much of the furniture was crafted out of oak and finished in golden or Early English colors. I am not sure what this finish is or if they crafted out of mahogany as other products were offered. The bed is equipped to handle a double mattress. However their are no mattress slats with this piece. A regular double metal mattress frame fits inside the opening just fine. The measurements are as follows: Head board approximately 57" wide, head board posts 50" tall, foot board posts 44" tall. Dresser approximately 45" wide, 20 1/2" deep and 35" tall. Tall Chest approximately 53" tall, 19 1/2" deep and 33 1/2" wide. Mirror approximately 47" bottom to top of finial and 23" wide. Pieces are very sturdy and heavy. There are 2 drawer pulls missing. Candlewick Imperial Glass Table or Dresser Mirror, 4 1/2 inches tall
Here's an Imperial CANDLEWICK mirror. 4 1/2" h. The mirror was made by Imperial Glass Co. circa 1940's- 1960 and measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches in height. It was not a general production item, it was specifically made as a gift for employees. In very good condition; there is a small spot where the mirror has become unsilvered, near the bottom of the piece-you can see this pictured. There is also a rough spot around the edge of the mirror, left side. On the backside, I find one straw mark. None of these issues are major; this is a very nice piece! Indiana– History and Families, Volume 1: Joe Hamilton started Blanchard-Hamilton Furniture Company ca. 1890. And it operated until about 1933. It made home bookcases. This dresser was made sometime between 1890 and 1933 We acquired it from a 91 year old woman in North Carolina. Who is originally from the Illinois and Iowa area It has so much style and personality Scroll work. Metal caster wheels, and it seems to be burl wood, tiger eye ... moreor curly maple wood(but we aren't experts- use your own judgment from the photos) The drawers come and in out without sticking. And are still well attached at the dovetailed corners Some of the drawers have floral liners(you could remove with adhesive remover. Or put new ones over top) Smoke-free home Measurements(rounded to nearest inch) 36" wide 44" tall 17" deep No gouges in the wood. Or stains on the side pieces Some water spots and stains on the top flat surface. However they'll be covered with your beautifully displayed items! Original finish- we just freshened it up with lemon oil One leg has been repaired and is sturdy(you can tell it was a repair from long ago. As the wood tone almost blends in! Legs are sturdy. No creaking or bending The top back piece has some white tiny speckles. Which look like tiny dots of paint And there are a couple chipped areas where the original veneer finish has chipped(common for its age) Great condition for its age! Spectacular tall danish modern dresser mahogany. Top quality Eames era
This is an amazing. High quality danish modern 7-drawer tall dresser. The pulls are a work of art. The drawers are well constructed and have stained bottoms. I believe this is a designer piece with solid wood and craftsmanship you don't see any more. Barrel peg legs with brass cuffs on apron support structure. All drawers glide smoothly. Some marks from use especially from fingernails at pulls but can likely be covered with old English. In the top section are two banks of drawers hidden by sliding doors. Each door has a large chunky brass pull! The large three drawers below have integrated artistic pulls and in the pull slot of each drawer is a ha;lf-moon shaped brass protector.
