We purchased some really interesting pieces from this collector as he is downsizing, and this antique oak dresser was refinished about 20-30 years ago, and we did a couple of touch ups. This fantastic oak dresser is in nice condition in a medium oak stain finish. It has two small concave front drawers on the top and a large bow front drawer in the base for plenty of storage. The Victorian dresser has cabriole carved columns coming down into a detail claw foot, panel sides, multi-molded rolled front above the drawers, carved yolks that hold up the mirror.

Condition: Used Location: Fairfield, United States This beautiful antique marble top dresser is in brown mahogany, heavily carved, and dates from the Victorian era. It has been previously refinished in ... morea beautiful finish with a satin sheen color. I would date this from around the 1880s. I don’t like to always say this, but it resembles a piece from Horner although I don’t believe it to be made by Horner. It is certainly a high-end quality piece. It has an extra heavily 1.25 bevel edge mirror that swivels and is in good condition. The mirror is wrapped around by a solid brown mahogany frame with carvings all the way around, rope twist going up and the very top corners having angels carved in both sides. The base has a beautiful rose quartz bevel edge marble top. The miniature knobs on the base look like miniature doorknobs.

Condition: Used Location: Waynesboro, United States Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this ... morepiece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. Two smaller locking drawers are aligned over four larged drawers. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. There are some drip marks along the top edge of the mirror(from glue or wood finish, see picture) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some wear associated with age, including chips and minor breakage to the veneers or inlay. See pictures. There is also a chip out of the left side finial and the right top drawer is missing its lock. The wood is cracked around the lock hole on the inside of the drawer. The wheels of the casters do no turn easily and probably need to be oiled. No other breaks or repairs. The dresser stands 70 1/4" tall and is 40" wide and 21" deep. This antique mahogany tall chest of drawers has six graduated drawers just waiting to be filled. The term graduated refers to the fact the drawers get deeper as you move down the chest. This stunning piece was made in England. We estimate it was built sometime around the year 1890. It has a very Chippendale look and feel to it. Due primarily ... moreto the wonderful brass pulls on the drawers. All of the drawers were crafted with hand cut dovetails and they still open and close easily on their wooden rails. The mahogany wood has a wonderful grain and color that is sure to go with almost any bedroom suite. At the bottom, large and strong bracket feet provide lift and support to the entire chest of drawers. Each drawer of the chest is fashioned with a lock. Unfortunately, no key remains. There is a black mark on the third drawer down and a few small dings here and there. The right side has a square of different colored finish in the back near the top and a repair at the back of the top moulding. Otherwise, this antique mahogany tall chest of drawers is in very good condition and ready to go right into your home and be used. The insides of the drawers are clean. This great looking tall chest of drawers is made from mahogany wood. Six graduated drawers provide ample storage. Here is the black mark on the one drawer as well as a look at the Chippendale pulls. Debated to be designed by Albert Parvin. And understandably so. The piece is marked American of Martinsville, and most likely dates to the early 1960's. Dresser is in very good shape with only very minor nicks here and there. One scratch on the front near the left edge of the drawers. Not so deep that it loses color. This sale for the dresser also includes the lamp and perfume jars. I did fix the one board on the right side holding the mirror. A small piece was missing, making the mirror uneven. I think since this dresser is more than likely 20+ years old,the drawers may not be as even as they once were but it is not noticeable, if you want to work on them I know it can be evened up with no problems. The wood is good and the dresser is sturdy. You will also get a lamp that is not electric or battery and perfume's bottles that rest on an interesting tray. Both lamp and perfume bottles I made. They are truly a OOAK. You can tell how tall the dresser is from a photo here, the mirror is clear and nice.

This is a nice set and it has that great Retro look with the cool legs. The set is from BASSETT and was a pretty penny in its day so this is a good deal. There is a 4 drawer dresser that is 34 x 18 deep and 30 tall. Another longer dresser that is 52 long 18 deep and 30 tall with a mirror. A King size headboard is included too. It would be even more beautiful if someone painted or re-stained it because the tops of the dresser do need it. This is a lovely curvy tall hqtbox dresser with oval mirror attached. All drawers glide nicely. Original finish is a pretty doe brown. The inside of the hat box door has a little curl to a veneer that seems to be a later addition. This veneer can be removed if wanted. This is fresh from an estate as found condition. Excellent quality piece with a lot of style and a very distinctive unusual look. The doors on the top have a 3 dimensional checkerboard effect and the bottom has an interesting slanted base. Very much in the style of Paul Evans and the Brutalist movement of the mid century time period. It has a very hearty and substantial feel to it. Measures 64" tall x 38" wide x 20" deep. It has two shelves for the right side(not shown in the photo) Good vintage condition. General light wear and surface scratching from years of use. There is a veneer chip on the left side of the top in the back corner. The facade has some scratches around the entire border.
