Antique Dresser Set, 6 pieces, Royal Bavaria
This is a six piece dresser set. There are no chips or cracks. The pieces are ivory color with trim of pale blue- flowers are blue and pink. Lots of gold trim. The two round dishes. One has a full lid, the other has a whole in it for hair. They are stamped Royal Baveria. The small plate is stamped B&G Co. France and the large one has a stamp GOA France and then printed in ink, M. Miller. The large plate is 11 1/2" x 8 1/2" small plate is 8 1/2" x 3" the two bowls are 5"x4" I don't know why the pieces have different stamps on them. They have the exact same design on each piece. It is a beautiful set.

Description: This listing is for a Federal Period Red Painted Maple Chest of Drawers. Probably Connecticut c. 1780-1800. It is a gorgeous work of art with a rather early and wonderful crusty red and black painted surface over the primary woods. The top projects over the case, finishing in soft molded edges over four graduated drawers. Each drawer features fully original hand cast batwing hardware and faux-keyhole escutcheons with numerous layers of original and later paints- one picture below shows a faux-keyhole escutcheon removed from the case, depicting the gritty surface behind it as well as detailed closeups of the back of the hardware. Each drawer is divided by cross bars that through-dovetail into and through the side of the case and backed by pine drawer runners nailed inside the case with rose head iron nails(one drawer runner top right replaced) The bottom of the case is uniquely designed, sliding into rabbets in the sides of the case along the entire bottom, locking at the front with an exposed through-dovetail. The top, likewise built to last, is joined at the top with a sliding dovetail joint that allows the top to expand and shrink easily without causing cracking or pressure. The back of the case features two board construction, one board being incredibly wide at 20" the second board being 13" wide with a soft ovular flow between the back feet. Feet mostly original w/ repairs and restorations, c. 1770-90 Item# 120010OEY02 This is a beautiful bachelor's chest with fine proportions. Crafted of solid cherry wood throughout all primary surfaces. The case is crafted entirely using dovetail joinery, noting the sides which lock to the top with a half-blind dovetail, covered with a fine molded rim; the bottom mirrors the top construction, and the drawer divider bars dovetail into the face of the chest. These are of only partial depth, not full dustboards, typical of New England designs as it lessened the overall weight of the chest. The facade is four graduated drawers with bold batwing brasses, each replaced using nearly the same holes, ... morethe brasses of the same age as the chest. The drawer construction shows exquisite attention to detail, note the channeling along the top of the drawer framing, a design characteristic of Massachusetts(though also seen throughout other New England states) The sides of the chests wear fine brass carrying handles, each of magnificent proportions with original hand forged screws locking them to the chest. The top embossed with gold vine and leaf border. The top is hinged at the back and has a beautiful pietra dura inlay of a rose on stem against a black background in the center. The base and marble are a unique shape due to the ornately carved columns on each corner of the base. The marble is cut to project out over the top of the columns. The marble has a deep double bull nose edge all the way around giving the affect of 2 pieces of marble. The base has 3 dovetail-jointed drawers with metal pulls. There is a small surface split in the wood where the crown meets the mirrors frame otherwise this piece is in excellent condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. The mirror measures 88 7/8 inches tall, 46 1/8 inches side to side and 5 inches front to back. It weighs 74 pounds. The marble measures 11/16 inch tall, 50 3/8 inches side to side and 21 ¼ inches front to back. The marble weighs 62 pounds. Vintage lot 10 Rare Antique Dresser Drawer Pulls Knobs Medallion Back Plates
This is for the vintage drawer pulls you see in the pictures. The first picture shows every thing you will get the rest are closeups. These are not shiny new pulls and they do have wear and patina from age. The 10 on the right as you look at the pictures are all good the row of knobs down the middle keeps them seperate for the other side that have broken larger holes in the middles. As the holes are not too big I thought if you needed a few extra I think a cleaver place washer would work to cover the hole and keep the knob in place. Please remember there are 10 good ones and the rest are extras. Please ask questions and look closely at the pictures. This is for what you see in the first picture. I think these must be kind of rare as most of them would have rusted through. Thanks.

This has beautiful scalloped and groove carved sides and edges. With a rope scroll carved top above the mirror frame. Below the mirror frame is a small candlestick shelf and handpainted decoration. Each drawer has two tiny brass knobs, with a center stencil decoration of scrolls and keyholes. It has superficial wear on the finish, and the mirror is gone, but no breaks, no replaced parts, and in sturdy condition. One drawer has early writing underneath with the girl's name and date of 1906 see picture. This is a little beauty and all original, all parts are wood. ANTIQUE PRE- ETHAN ALLEN BAUMRITTER 6 DRAWER SOLID MAPLE CRP DRESSER c.1952
I am pleased to offer this antique authentic Baumritter 6 drawer dresser. Circa 1952. And manufactured Beecher Falls, Vermont, U.S.A. it actually pre-dates Ethan Allen. This dresser is the real deal. 100% original. All solid Maple construction in a nutmeg finish with all of the original hardware. It measures 46" tall X 33 5/8" wide X 18 1/2" deep. It features beveled/rounded edging on both the top and each drawer face. This dresser was built by Baumritter New York just prior to being acquired by Ethan Allen. Of note in the styling is the elevated stance with scalloped lower/base edging. Once acquired by Ethan Allen, the CRP line continued through the 1950's with similar construction; but the pieces were produced with a flat base that sat flush upon the floor. The craftsmanship and quality of materials used on these pieces ... morewas exceptional. All 4 corners of each drawer are dovetailed. Each drawer slides using a central guide bar and groove; all of which is precise Maple wood construction. The top 2 drawers are also sectioned. Those drawers have a face width of 4 1/2" and a usable depth of 3 1/2" The lower 4 drawers are not sectioned. Each of those 4 have a usable depth of 5" This piece is absolutely authentic. The original brass Baumritter New York plaquard with company crest is still affixed to the side wall of the second drawer. In same drawer. On the floor, is literally heat branded"Made in Vermont" over"Beecher Falls" within a Maple leaf(to represent the wood and its' regional origin) Look closely at the photos and you can see the blackened/burnished patina from the heat used in branding. Furthermore. On the backside of this piece is twice stamped, Inspected" over"April 28,1952" over"Inspector No. 1" Apparently they did it twice as the first stamp was not wholly clear. And it is separated into three conn ecting sections. See pictures. This classic Dresser is in good original condition. And it has an unusual speckled olive-green/lime-gre en painted finish color. With a medium/dark Walnut stain finish color on the base. See pictures. This interesting convertible Dresser can be used as a single connected Long Dresser. Or it can be used as three separate large Side Tables, see pictures. This Long Dresser has a classic mid-century design with interesting antique Brass-finish handles, and there is caning with a light/medium Walnut stain finish color on the center piece, see pictures.
