Stunning in color. Carved to perfection and incredible condition! size is 37" tall by 23" wide by 21" deep. Excellent addition to your salon or parlor, even your fabulous bedroom! It won't matter where these are everyone will love them, I've had them for a few months only and sadly must part with them. If you love the Colonial or Victorian style these are excellent additions to your shabby chic look as well. They are carved in the Louis XV style in solid mahogany but the tapestry certainly takes center stage, the colors are a soft palette vibrant without taking over the entire room. Solid construction very comfortable and sturdy, no issues that I can see of anykind. We are happy to look at offers on this lot of 2. Please keep in mind the sales price will not include the shipping to you. I have seen this exact Florenza pin cushion box on an antiques website for $95 plus shipping! But the rest of my web search suggested that the price above was more realistic for the market. Large faux pearls sit in the flowers on the ends and pink and green"jewels" are in the flowers that flank them. The item is about 4.5 inches long. 2 inches wide and 1 inch high. The velvet is unfaded and the stuffing is springy. The box is made of a heavy metal. In various places on the internet I have seen it described as"gold plated with a white wash" your guess is as good as mine) or"gold paint over white" In either case. I have for you this evening a stunning example of Limoges porcelain imported by the Sraus family in New York city during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This tray features a high quality molded scalloped rimmed porcelain body with powder blue galze covering most of the face with a cream or off white"X" in the center. The decoration is done entirely in gold in the most simple but elegant design that I have seen in many years with dainty hand painted raised gold flowers on long sinewy branches in five locations on the tray being all four sides and in the center. This beautiful piece had to have been done by the hands of a master gilder and painter. The scalloped edges are also trimmed in gold dust. Please see all of my attached pictures to gain a true appreciation for this fine piece of French made porcelain. Dimensions and ... moredating: All measurements are approximate. This tray measures 11.5" by 7.75" and stands around half an inch. The piece dates from the late 19th to very early 20th centuries by the mark and design elements. Up for auction is a lot of doilies. Table runners. These were all hand made and are very old. The 2 cross stitched doillies are yellowed and will need a cleaning. I'm told there is some way to brighten these up. There are a set of 2 orange-yellow and white doilies that are a 12" circle. In good condition. I don't see no rips or stains. The second picture is a rectangle shape 14 x9 cream color. It has a small stain. 3rd picture is a smaller rectangle 8 1/2 x6" it is ivory. The 4th photo is a 13" white circle doilie. I see no stains, may be a bit discolored but can't tell for sure. The 5th photo is a lavender circle dollie. Measures 7" across. No rips,stains. Pr. Vintage Blue Glass Boudoir Dresser Lamps Vanity Dresser Lamps
This is the sweetest pair of blue ribbed glass boudoir Dresser lamps from ca 1930's-1940's. That is my guess based on the look of the original electrical cords. They measure approximately 15 1/2" tall by 6" wide at the widest point in the shade) The lamp works just fine but I would recommend replacing the original electrical cords before using. Everything is original except for the bulb clips and finial. The ribbed shade has scalloped edge decoration and the inside of the shade is a powder blue color. The blue color looks frosted or a matt finish and is in very good condition on both shades. One shade has a flea bite(see photo) on the outside of the shade on the rib section and a very tiny chip on the scalloped edge. The base and shade are pressed glass. The bulbous part of the mid section of the lamp is also blue and may ... morehave been spray painted on the inside but due to its age the blue paint is starting to dry out and is flaking off. This can be easily fixed at the time you replace the wiring because this mid secion is two piece and lifts right up so it could be sprayed again if you choose. Light bulbs not included.
