This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 82 inches. The dresser width measures 40 inches, dresser depth measures 19 inches, and the height from the floor to the top of the dresser base measures 25 inches,and this piece weighs approximately 120 lbs. Rare 19C Antique Mirror Large Walnut w Oak Leak Acorn Rope Gesso Wood
Up for auction is this exceptional 19C Walnut and gesso mirror. This is truly a rare find. Mirror measures a large 56 5/8" l x 33 3/8" h x 2" d. It has a three panel wood back. We put a sturdy wire across the back to hang. Of course. This mirror could be mounted either vertical or horizontal. Just an exquisite design with oak leaves and acorns. A stately work of art. Beautiful attention to delicate detail. A rich appearance while being understated. So many large mirrors I have found are either too plain or tend to be- well- a bit garish! This is a nice balance of beauty and great workmanship. As it dates to the 19C, it is not perfect and should not be. There is some cracking in the gesso and a little professional restoration during its lifetime, so please look at the pictures carefully. I am uncertain if the glass is original ... moreor has been replaced over the century +. As the item is rare, antique and fragile, I will ship, but all arrangements would be up to the winning bidder. Magnificent and stately old solid oak frame in wonderful condition without damage. The outside dimensions are 26" x 48" and it receives glass or artwork that is 18" X 40" The mirror that is in the frame has lost silvering in the center. I would be happy to send only the frame and reduce your projected postage. My guess is that it is from the late 1800s and it is still very solid. Super frame. This mint condition deco 1920s period built in hutch from a Chicago bungalow has stayed in near perfect condition and has a nice coat of laquer protecting it. Antique Tilting Dresser SHAVING Mirror TIGER OAK Wood VICTORIAN 1880 Round Frame
Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Era c.1880 Round Shaving Mirror- On Tilting Frame- DESCRIPTION A handsome antique shaving mirror on tilting stand. Made entirely of solid tiger oak grained wood. The mirror frame, tilting arms, base and round ball feet all with beautiful graining visable. This one is from the late Victorian era circa 1880's. It's in original untouched condition, not refinished. It also retains the original mirror glass and backing for the round mirror. The round mirror frame is 1" wide and has a deep beveled edge. The two arms have knobs at the sides that can be loosened allowing you to tilt the framed mirror portion. Tightening the knob will then hold it in that fixed position. The arms have lovely turnings and are mortised through the wide shaped chamferred edge base. The base has four round ball feet. We've ... moreleft this as found. We have not polished or refinished the wood it is completly original. Shows good wear, but no splits or cracks or breaks in the wood. And we have not removed the original mirror glass from the frame. As expected with mirror glass of this age, it does show wear to the silvering. Of course, if you like, you could replace the mirror with contemporary mirror glass. We like it just the way it is. Showing it's good age. Size: 12-1/4" high overall- 15-3/4" long and 5-1/2" wide at the base- mirror frame measures 9-3/4" across CONDITION Very Good. The wood has not been refinished. Stunning and Ornate Golden Oak - Antique Chest with Beveled Mirror
This is a very handsome solid large golden oak piece that could be used as a bureau or sideboard. Etc. It is in excellent condition and has original ornate brass hardware. The lower bureau is 55.5"WX24"DX36"H. On top is the 40" high original ornate beveled mirror that has some light silvering but still is in fine condition. Thus the total height is 76" or six feet four inches. The two top drawers are 24" wide. The two lower drawers are 49"W. All drawers are fairly deep. The piece is on casters that are in fine condition. Please note; this piece must be either picked up by you or arranged for pickup by a third party(movers) The condition again is VF. Vintage Oak Chifferobe Wardrobe with mirror Pick up in Virginia
This is an old oak chifferobe or wardrobe. Condition is very good with a nick. A veneer chip or scratch here and there but nothing bad, all minor. Beveled mirror has varnish around the edge but will scrape off easy, I tried it. I didn't scrape off because I'm selling for someone else. The original hanger rod is still in place or has oak shelves that lift out. No door key. Must pick up near Roanoke Virginia.
