LARGE ANTIQUE OAK MIRROR BERGEN COUNTY ROCKLAND COUNTY MONMOUTH COUNTY
Here’s a very large and handsome Antique Victorian Solid Oak Mirror with a large ¾” beveled glass. The mirror is original and is in great shape and gives a clean reflection. It measures 74-1/4” high by 30-3/4” wide. 1-7/8” thick. The beautifully hand carved crown measures 3” thick. The actual mirror without frame measures 47-1/2” high and 19-1/2” wide. The mirror has been professionally refinished with a hand rubbed varnish finish. At one time this mirror was probably on a large dresser and was able to swivel from side to side(see pictures) I have since put 4 brass plates on the back so it wouldn’t swivel. But these can be removed if desired. I’ve used the mirror in my house for many years and I’m ready to trade it in. It’s a great mirror for your hallway. Bedroom, powder room, or any room really. Antique 1870s BLACK FOREST Relief Carved Eagle Top Wood Frame OAK WALL MIRROR
I have up for sale a rare and beautiful vintage circa 1860s- 1880s Black Forest hand carved Hanging Wall Mirror. I believe that the frame is made of Oak- its relief carved with a bird. Possibly an Eagle on top. The bird has a glass eye and the talons are fixed on to a log. It measures approx 26-1/2" measured from the tip of the wing to the bottom of the vertical section of the frame,its approx 17-1/4" wide. The bird itself protrudes outward just over 4" The glass mirror itself measures approx 16-1/4" x 9" The frame is in very nice estate fresh as found condition. I am quite sure that the finish is the old original. Regardless it looks wonderful. It has a nice warm patina and recessed areas have darker coloration. Overall the frame is in Great Condition- other than some wear/small chip to the end tip of the birds beak ... morethe wood is in fantastic shape. Wear is light, the frame was well taken care of. The glass mirror is excellent- no silvering issues- no damages. I see that the bird is attached with 2 screws in the back. When I package it. I will take if off and package it separately. Antique TINY Eastlake Oak Mirror Picture Frame Ebonized Trim Fret Folk Art 9x7
This delightfully preserved 1880s mirror measures only 16” x 11 ¾” overall with 8 ½” x 6 5/8” reveal and 7 1/8” x 9 1/8” back opening. It is crafted of solid oak with original varnish overall and has black painted ebonized molding accents as well as a fret cut topper. This mirror is fresh from a farm shed and dirty with fogged glass and dull silver and some chips on the fret trim. There was no back so we improvised the cardboard protector for shipping. Antique Victorian Oak Purdonium or Coal Scuttle Stand with Mirror c. Late 1800's
Uncommon antique Victorian purdonium or coal scuttle stand. Beautifully grained oak stand with a small mirror with bevelled edges. Piece is on castors and has handles on the side to allow it to be moved easily. Tilting storage area looks like it has a tin lining for storing coal. The front has a beautiful design of scrollwork and garlands. Elaborately curved sides lead from the top of the cabinet up to a miniature bonnet top with scrolled sides and a flower in the middle. These pieces are more common in the U.K. But rarely seen here in the U.S. Most likely dates from the late 1800's or very early 1900's. Overall. The stand is in very good condition. There is a very small amount of seperation on the sides where the two boards join. See pictures. The tin lining is also worn and a little beaten up, probably from use. for sale a very nice antique quartersawn oak dresser with original beveled mirror and hardware. dresser is serpentine in the front which is a very desirable and somewhat rare feature. it has a great carved harp for the mirror which hopefully the pictures will show. it has abundant quartersawn flake on the top and all the drawers and dividers. the finish is overall in very good condition. Antique Oak Arts & Crafts Mission picture frame mirror Quarter Saw Vg+ Cond 1914
Even though it is not signed this is the nicest antique Mission Oak Picture or Mirror frame that I have owned. It is expertly crafted and is made up of darkly stained quarter sawn oak sides with 4 sided pyramids at the corners. The finish is original and in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and not warped. When I purchased it it had an Angus Mac Donall Western print dated 1914 in it that I am listing seperately. It has an oak ply back on it that is held in place with screws. Between the print and the ply back was a Milwaukee Leader newspaper that was also dated 1914. The glass was broken and I see no reason to purchase new glass to add to the shipping weigh. The buyer can purchase a piece of glass of their choiice or perhaps order a beveled mirror to go with it. Either way I think it will be a wonderful addition to any ... morearts and crafts setting. Please inspect it closely with your zoom tool to verify the condition before bidding. Here is a early to mid 1800's solid oak mirror with beveled glass. For its age. It's in great shape. The mirror itself could use some attention but there are no cracks or scratches. The top left corner of the glass shows some deterioration. The mirror is still quite clear and vivid. The glass also has a couple of air bubbles in it. The frame is made of solid oak with nice joints on the top corners. The carving up top was all done by hand as is simple yet very elegant. The frame measures 20.5" wide x 17" tall(measured from the top of the design carving) The frame is approx 3/4" thick. It had a solid wood back that is nailed to the frame. This auction is for a older unique and beautifull Oak Framed Mirror from England. It has the"spool" trim all the way around the outside edge. It has"beaded" trim all the way around the inside edge next to the mirror. It also has Jacobean trim on the top and Barley Twist trim on each side. They don't come much better than this one. It also has a pretty domed top. It still works and with it's pretty style adds interest and charm wear ever you hang it. It would make a Super Over-The-Mantel Mirror as well as wonderful entry or hall mirror. It could also be used in a bathroom. The mirror is not beveled but it' is an older mirror. When viewed from the sides. You can see some slight waves in the glass which validates it's older age. It has the old style wall mounts on each top corner. This Art Nouveau style mantel features intricate carving and a gorgeous tiger-stripe grain in the wood. The top of the mantel features beveled levels, coming down to a panel with raised vine leaf carvings around the outer edges. This section is supported by round columns with foliate capitals that extend all the way down. The beveled mirror is surrounded by a decorative tooth trim, and below is a projecting shelf with rounded edges. This auction is for a beautiful antique oak hanging shelf in the ball& stick style. From my personal collection. The side"sticks" and one ball seem to be maple. The frame for the beveled mirror is oak and most of the rest. Beautiful and lovely vintage condition with hangers in place; no work required. Just put into place. A teeny bit of water discoloration in beveled mirror, 1/2" x 1.5" or so, barely noticeable but must mention for accuracy. About 5" deep and 20" long for shelf size. Height of side"sticks" is 9.5" to underside of shelf top. Sweet and dainty; original purchased in Texas antique mall some 20+ years back.

EARLY 1900'S CARVED QUARTERSAWN OAK MIRROR BACK SIDEBOARD CUPBOARD CABINET
Here is an absolutely terrific find. Recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh and in very nice condition for an early 20th century quartersawn oak cupboard, with beautiful carvings including detailed leaves on the banquet drawers and upon the doors and mirror back top. This lovely sideboard has a nice, large serving area top surface, measuring 59 inches wide by 20 1/2 inches front to back( 24 inches deep from the front of banquet drawers) with a surface height of 38 1/2 inches tall. These are the overall dimension of the bottom section of the sideboard, which travels easily in two pieces. The top mirror back section measures 40 inches tall by 55 inches wide and 11 inches deep, front to back, at it's deepest point, allowing both top and bottom to be easily blanket wrapped for safe and easy shipping. The mirror back top features ... morecolumns, candle stands on each side 12 inches above the top surface with beveled mirrors behind to maximize reflection. These mirrors measure 15 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide and are clear with beveled edges as is the larger central mirror measuring 27 1/4 inches tall and 19 1/2 inches wide. The cabinet has 2 drawers. One on either side below the top surface, each 14 1/4 inches by 14 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches deep, and two delightfully carved banquet drawers each 18 inches wide by 16 inches front to back by 3 1/4 inches deep. Below the drawers are cabinets with beautifully carved doors. The two side cabinets measure 18 inches wide by 16 inches deep and 24 inches tall. In the bottom of the right side facing cabinet is a cellarette 16 inches by 16 inches by 4 inches tall, with room for 9 bottles with 13 inches overall clearance, that slides in and out for easy access. Above the top shelf on that side is an additional 9 inches of clearance space. The opposing cabinet is the same dimensions but divided into two shelves with 9 inches clearance above the lower shelf and 14 inches clearance above the top shelf. for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed.
