oak wood table top vintage jewelry music box armoire dresser bureau spindle
This is a vintage piece but I am unsure of the time frame. I purchased it at an antique shop years ago. I believe the wood is pine but the finish is oak. The insides of the drawers and compartments are all in IMPECCABLE condition. This armoire also has a mirror inside the biggest compartment. The window on the big compartment has a beautifully etched floral design. It reminds me of frosted glass. Also inside the big compartment is a spindle for all of your necklaces. The spindle functions and looks perfect. The only flaws that I see on this armoire are a few marks on the back(see last picture) and a few marks on the top. So its not in absolute perfect condition but it is pretty darn close. All of these pictures are of the actual item for sale. So other than a few marks. This armoire is in unused condition and you can expect all of the drawers, ... moreplus the inside to be perfect. This is also a music box. I will update the ad shortly with the song that music box plays. I am thinking the music box needs a new battery? because the song plays on and off. For instance. Antique Tiger Oak dresser with a bow front. 4 drawers, glass knobs, original metal caster wheels. The lady that I bought it from said it was from the late 1800's- early 1900's. She was in her mid 60's and her grandfather had built it. Great solid heavy dresser. Measures 44" x 21" x 34" tall. Drawers slide well. Metal key holes missing from a couple drawers but can easily be replaced. No scratches, mars, chips, etc. in the wood.

A dresser, or an armoire. It has a mortise and tenon construction, and I believe it dates back to the 1870s or before. It would make a perfect wall shelf bottom. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger. Oak Highboy Dresser Curved Front
This auction is for a Oak Highboy Dresser with curved front drawers. I bought this from my brother in 1978. He refinished it and added the drawer pulls. There are some nicks. Scratches and chips. The drawer bottoms need to be glued. Also, the dresser is a bit wobbly when moving via it's wheels. One of the drawer pull's handle is missing. Overall, the dresser looks good. Fancy Oak& Chestnut Victorian Marble Top Dresser with Ornate Carved Wishbone Mirror circa 1880's Being offered for sale is this superb Victorian Fancy Oak& Chestnut highly carved marble top dresser that features a detailed. Very ornate carved wishbone mirror, fancy carved key escutcheons on the drawer fronts and the original wood pulls on the drawers with dove-tailed joinery on the drawer ends. This fine 19th century dresser measures 77 inches in height to the top of the carved crest on the mirror. Height to the marble at the front measures 33 3/4 inches, width measures 40 inches and depth front to back is 19 1/4 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 24 inches high by 12 3/4 inches wide. This dresser does dis-assemble into 4 separate pieces for easier handling during shipping ... moreand moving. This dresser is solid and tight and the mirror portion rests sturdy and straight. The framed mirror does pivot front to back to adjust viewing. All the locks are intact on the drawers except the top left, but we do not have the key. The original beveled edge marble top is in beautiful antique condition with no chips or cracks. The left side does show a bottom edge divot that you may be able to see if you zoom in on the left side picture of the dresser at the marble.definitely not a distraction but just wanted to point that out. This is a beautiful quarter-sawn oak dresser with four drawers and mirror. Age is unknown. But the unusual dovetail joints should hold a clue. Carved design at bottom of mirror, at dresser bottom and around each drawer front. Dresser measures 19" x 42" and is 31" high at the top of the dresser, 59" at the top of the mirror. Mirror has beveled edges. The silvering behind the bevels appears to be damaged: appears scratched. Paneled ends. Dust separators are in good condition. Dresser appears to have been re-finished. ANTIQUE EARLY 20TH C QUARTERSAWN OAK BARLEY TWIST BED DRESSER SET ENGLISH CWS
Here is an absolutely fabulous find in wonderful condition. And carefully adapted for use as a queen size bed. a 1922 production quartersawn oak barley twist bed headboard and footboard and matching mirrored dresser. The dresser has a lovely beveled mirror, original teardrop hardware and casters, dovetailed drawer construction and the same beautifully turned barley twist columns as the carved headboard and footboard. Both piece are tagged with the brass C.W. S. Pelaw on Tyne tags of the English Co-Operative Wholesale Society and pencil dated within their stamped 4/8/1922. I've included a number of photographs from all sides and tried to highlight the features outlined here including the tags and stamp marks. This dresser stands 62 1/2 inches tall by 35 1/2 inches wide by 18 inches. Front to back. The lovely beveled mirror is in very nice ... morecondition and is 23 1/2 inches wide by 18 inches tall. The shelf 6 3/4 inches above the top surface across the back has two small drawers, 6 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches front to back by 2 1/4 inches deep. The three dresser drawers are 29 inches wide by 14 3/4 inches front to back by 5 1/4. 6 1/4 and 7 1/4 inches deep, in descending order, respectively. The beautiful carved barley twist head board and footboard are in lovely condition and have been adapted from their original full size to fittings for rails to make it queen size as is currently generally preferred. There is 54 inches between the original posts(full size width) but the modern adaptation involves attached boards 62 inches in width. With screws set for rails to be set at the queen size 60 inch width. I show a close up of this simple adaptation as well as these pieces from both sides. Bed rails are not included. The beautiful quartersawn oak wood grains, carvings and fabulous turned barley twist columns that really make this incredible early 20th century English bedroom group. For auction here we have a beautiful carved oak Victorian sideboard dating to the latter part of the 19th century. This impressive sideboard of large proportions has a large mirror upstand with ornate carved showframe over a base of inverted breakfront form with frieze drawers supported by twin pedestals with ornately carved fielded panel doors united by undertier and raised on plinth base. The carving throughout is of high quality with floral detailing and crisp edges. The sideboard is in good working order with no worm or splits. The only worthy note being that some of the top crest carving is missing but its not noticeable and one side could be adapted to match the other if needed. Dresser Bureau Backboard Antique Acanthus Leaves Wood Oak Architectural Piece
This is a lovely solid oak backboard from perhaps a small bureau. Dresser or maybe a dining room server. It has acanthus leaves across the very top with a dart design beneath that and swirled leaf or fronds motif below. It measures 40 7/8" wide at the very top. 40 3/8" at the bottom x 10 3/8" tall(not including the mounting boards which are attached to the back and protrude down below the backboard by about 5" It is 1 1/2" thick at the very top and 3/4" thick at the bottom. I would guess that it is from the 1920's. It will be packed carefully and insured which is reflected in the S&H amount.

This is a wonderful antique mission/craftsman oak dresser with mirror for sale. Original wooden roller feet. And mirror is original. Since this is an old piece, the mirror has expected aging to the silvering. Overall the piece is solid and in good condition for its age with only minor scratches to the finish. The drawers open and close and piece is very sturdy. One minor issue with one side of the piece. Near the bottom of the dresser on the right side(as you face the dresser) are a few minor nicks where the original wood has chipped away. Instead of trying to match a stain to the piece, that area was left alone. Also, that same area has a slight bow in the veneer- which is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. French Provincial Dresser Early Piece c1780-1820. Unusual Design Very Heavy Oak.
Description French Provincial Dresser c1780-1820. This is a wonderful and very unusual piece. I have never seen one in this style before. Made from very very heavy plank oak. Probably a provincial piece and therefore unique, this dresser is early and date from either the late 18th or early 19th century. The maker has used used brass headed pins to add a great detail to the front of the piece. It has a partly closed upper section with a shaped opening over a galleried section. Below are two small cupboards flanking another smaller shaped opening. The lower section has two large drawers with bevel fronts and heavy brass swing handles. Over two cupboard doors which open to one large space with one deep shelf. I'm putting it for restoration as the piece has multiple scratches and marks. Antique Dark Oak Bed and Dresser
I do not buy antiques for their monetary value. I buy pieces because I like them. Therefore. I really do not know details on my items(sorry, I know it makes it more difficult for others to buy them) I believe these are oak and I believe they are from the 1800s. You are buying the bed frame and dresser(not mattress and box springs) The frame for this bed is full size. As pictured, I use a metal converter frame to make it queen size(you can see that my mattress sticks out a bit from the frame) Headboard is 6 feet high. Dresser measures 42" wide. 20" deep and 78" tall. They are in a smoke-free and pet-free home. I think they are in very good condition. Any damage I have found is listed above.
