This is an Antique Late 1800's Victorian Natural Tone Oak Dresser with Original Brass Drawer Pulls and Key Locks/ Hardware. 44.5 inches wide x 33 inches tall x 19.5 inches deep. Has 4 dovetail drawers and metal caster wheels. Key to the locks is unavailable. The lower drawer bottom has been replaced. All drawers are opening and closing properly. Item is structurally sound for it's age. Caster wheels are all rolling. Top back right corner has a slight warp on the tabletop with separation and a small crack. Shouldn't be a problem for most. It's not noticeable when standing against a wall. Item was lightly sanded and clear varnished in the mid 1970's. Small top drawers are 18 inches wide x 5.5" tall. Wonderful quartered oak quarter sawn vanity dresser-3 mirrors---14803
I think this is the best quarter sawn oak vanity or dresser I have ever offered for sale. Butterfly' wing mirrors on each side which are adjustable. This style is sometimes referred to as a Jean Harlow dresser. Super pretty quartered oak with carving on top. Center, under the mirrors, and the center drawer. Heavy carved claw feet, drawers have original brass pulls. Note that the bottom large drawer has three drawers above it; the two with pulls and the one in the center heavily carved. This piece has been professionally refinished and is in excellent condition with a smooth and even finish(one minor repair to corner-see photo) Mirrors are excellent and drawers all work properly. Dollhouse dresser-pine & press-back chair late Victorian oak style
Offering at auction a nice"pine" dresser and an"oak" side chair that originally went with a table or desk. But the color is similar and they look nice together so I am offering them together. The dresser is 3-5/8" wide, 1-5/8" deep, 3" tall to the dresser surface, 4-7/8" from floor to top of mirror frame. The chair stands about 3" from floor to top of back. Chair seat is 1-3/8" square, and is 1-3/8 from the floor. The chair looks for all the world like oak, but I think it has to be plastic. Very well done, but plastic. The dresser is handcrafted from a light colored hardwood and the drawers pull out. We ship only to US LOCATIONS. thanks for looking.

What a great little child's size Victorian dresser. It could be A Salesman sampler or just that, a child's/ doll furniture. True Victorian Circa- 1890( wow almost 125 years old. The top portion is mixed. Oak and Ash, the bottom is Oak and Pine It is a nice LARGE dresser it measures 38 inches( over 3 feet tall) to the top The base is 18 1/2 inches tall. The dresser is almost 2 feet. At 21 inches wide 10 inches deep. The mirror is 7 1/4 X 9 1/2 It even has a jewelry/ catch all box on the top. It measures 12 inches wide X 4 1/2 inches deep. And still has it's candle holders on each side of mirror one shelf bracket on the left side is missing a small tip of the wood. It still holds and shows well. Here is an absolutely fabulous early to mid-19th century heavy carved oak sideboard with hutch top in the tradition of a Welsh dresser with beautiful dragon motif carvings on the doors. A lovely form, hand dovetailed drawers and detailed carving on all edges and trim including dentition on three sides around the top. It has small cabinets behind the ornately carved dragon doors in the hutch section as well as display shelves, and has drawers across the top with more open cabinet space below in the base section, which is where you see the traditionally older construction front to back planking across the bottom. This antique heavy carved sideboard with hutch top stand 85 inches tall and measures 69 inches wide and 17 inches deep. Front to back. It travels easy in two pieces- the top hutch top measuring 69 wide by 12 front to back by 50 inches tall. The two cabinets behind the beautifully carved doors in the top are each 13 1/2 inches wide by 9 inches deep front to back and 24 inches tall, with a shelf splitting that space with 11 inches clearance above the cabinet base and 9 inches clearance across the shelf. There are also display shelves, with 9 1/2 inches clearance above the base below the shelf, then 12 inches clearance above the first shelf and 24 inches of clearance above the second shelf, below the exquisitely carved bonnet or cornice. Good condition, Old and beautiful are two words we throw around quite a bit in the antique furniture world and this dresser is both. Made during the reign of King George III in England sometime around 1800. This chest of drawers is a wonderful piece of history. The primary wood used is English oak which has grown so lovely over the last 200+ years. The cut of the oak was such that the grain that displays is intricate and gorgeous. ... moreAn inlay of mahogany compliments the oak around the top and drawer fronts. The mahogany banding is actually slightly darker than the oak giving quite a nice contrast. The front vertical corners of the chest were canted and a fluted column carved into them. This combined with the shapely ogee bracket feet provide the chest with some softening and keep it from looking too square and sharp. Very nice plate back brass handles adorn each drawer and the key holes on the larger drawers. Being over 200 years old there is surprising little wear to discuss on this dresser. There is no key and the bottom and second drawer down no longer have locks. Each drawer is fashioned with hand cut dovetails as you would expect and they open and close easily when you use the handles. The small top drawers each have a small piece missing from their lower outside corners(bottom left on the left drawer and bottom right on the right drawer) They are small but you will see them if you look closely in the pictures. Finally there are age gaps between where the boards were joined on the top and sides. This is normal and expected as moisture leaves the piece over time these boards shrink. They are not sp

It has been painted with chalk paint in black over cream. I have covered the drawers and side panels in vintage sheet music from a 1910 Hymnal book. All of the french lettering on the drawers are completely hand painted and lightly sanded. I don't use stencils. It has been sanded and glazed with a coat of wax to complete her transformation. The plinth base. Raised on feet, supports the cupboard with twin, field panel doors decorated with delicate foliate carving and flanked by turned pilasters. Within the scroll moulded frieze between the upper and lower cupboards two drawers emerge with elaborate'kissing fish' handles. The upper cupboard. Solid oak 5 piece bedroom set: full size bed(head. Foot, side rails, slats) dresser, mirror, washstand, lingerie chest. Beautiful construction. Dove-tailed drawers, heavy solid oak, rolled headboard and footboard with matching roll on dresser mirror. Newer, beveled glass mirror, which will pivot. This was my grandmothers bedroom furniture(~106 years old) Wash refinished in the late 1980's. But could be gently polished/refinished. Slight damage to the footboard when we last moved(see photo) Wear consistent with age. Wash stand was stained walnut in the 1940's and even though refinished it is a darker finish than the other pieces. Pick up in East Brunswick. NJ.
