I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. Small chest of custommade drawers form Elgin. Illinois, mid century. Purchased in the late 1950's from a cabinet-furniture enthusiast that custom built furniture with drawers. This piece has four drawers each drawer under 2" in depth. Many of his pieces have been stamped with his initials. I have several more of these custom built pieces available from the same estate. I would like to add that the drawers still slide out and in with barely any friction, a dream for those of us that have struggled with aged pieces that do not slide properly with age. The chest is comprised of both solid teak and teak veneer. Note the size next to the Eames LCW chair. The compact footprint is fantastic and while perfect for an entryway, it will allow for placement in just about any room in your home. Now lets talk function. You basically have three areas plus the top surface for storage. The top could be used to display some small vases ... moreand maybe a small tray or box for keys. Wallet etc. Below you have double sliding doors, each with a cubicle compartment behind them. In the middle are three pull out drawers that are bypassed by the doors when they are slid side to side. The piece can take on different looks depending on how you position the doors. If you want a something that is pretty much a complete departure from the norm. DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a beautiful solid wood buffet/sideboard made by Henredon in 1999. This piece is brand new with original tags and still has plastic over cloth in top drawer. This was a blemished piece so used as a floor model. The flawed damage is on the back part of the side. There are also scratches and marks on the top. There is a small hole cut thru on the back. There is also damage on the back part and few scratches on the front bottom. All of these flaws are shown in pics. This piece could easily still be used. I have not done any touchups on it so some of the scratches could be covered. It looks like they put a wood putty in the damaged place and a small notch right at it has been cut. This piece is SOLID. Weight is approx 250-300 pounds. Dimensions are 72" length x 38 1/4" height x 22" depth. This is a Vintage Mid-century Pirate Chest Liquor Decanter Set. It cinsists of the box which measures 7.5" x 6.5" on each end. 9.5" wide and 6.5" high, two amber decanters which are 3.5" square with a 1.75' stopper each, and 4 amber shot glasses that are 2.5" x 1.25" The glass has a diamond cut pattern. All the glass is in excellent condition! The box has metal Lion Head Pulls on the front and a metal latch, and chain on the side. The domed top has a pirate map which does have some slight damage and age related wear. Shipping includes insurance.

It is a beautiful walnut color in amazing condition. The son of the lady who owned it told me that his parents were married in the 1940s and this is the bedroom furniture that they started with. Mid Century Chestnut Wood Small Chest with Drawers Felt Lined Drawers
Small chest of custom made drawers form Elgin. Illinois, mid century, from Chestnut Wood. Purchased in the late 1950's from a cabinet-furniture enthusiast that custom built furniture with drawers. This piece has four drawers each drawer under 2" in depth. Many of his pieces have been stamped with his initials. I have several more of these custom built pieces available from the same estate. I would like to add that the drawers still slide out and in with barely any friction, a dream for those of us that have struggled with aged pieces that do not slide properly with age. Mid Century Danish Modern Teak Dresser By Borge Mogensen Chest Credenza Cabinet
Mid Century Danish Modern teak dresser designed by Borge Mogensen. Dimensions: 59" x 18" deep x 34" tall. The top has been professionally refinished. There are some minor fill-ins on the side corners as seen in pics 4& 5. Some slight teak oil spots barley seen in pic 9. All drawers work perfectly. This will ship freight.
