Danish modern style cedar chest by Lane in excellent condition. This mid century modern style blanket chest is completely cedar lined. Stands on sturdy walnut peg legs with brass caps, has a bottom pullout drawer and is totally original, excellent with just a couple small nicks. Outside measurements are 18 by 40 and stands 20 high. The top and outside finishes are walnut solids and veneers. Note the date stamp: for those who do not know. It features double sliding tambour doors that open to reveal a spacious open interior with a single height adjustable inset teak shelf. There is also an extra set of holes(4 on each side) at the upper interior. There was likely once a full depth shelf here which you could so easily make if so desired. The piece is finished off with solid teak turned wood legs. The piece is a very well made and nice and solid and the legs will remove for shipping. measurements Overall 33 ... more7/8" wide by 15 3/4" deep by 29.5" high. Very beautiful 13 drawer Teak Danish Modern dresser from Denmark. Has six drawers covered by a lockable door. On the left side it has 7 drawers totaling 13 drawers. All drawers slide easily and have no damage. The only damage to the dresser is a small piece of veener missing at the bottom. Small damage at the back of the top, and a faint ring on the top. Dresser measures 45 1/2" in length, 18" in width, and 48 3/4" in height. This piece is very solid and is not going to fall apart like most dressers made today. Dresser will be shipped through Greyhound and will cost between $150-500. Depending on where buyer is located. You must pick it up at the Greyhound station as they do not deliver.
