A very fine antique. Circa 1860's, solid walnut dresser with gray veined white marble top. Above is the separate mirror in frame, and yoke having a pair of candle stands and glove boxes. The mirror crest is beautifully carved with roses, the dresser drawers with nice carved grips. Dresser retains the three locks with walnut escutcheons, no key. Secondary wood is maple. Mirror frame will swivel. It has been nicely refinished. Total furniture measures 7'2" 86" tall by 3'5" 41" wide by 18-1/2" deep. Pretty dresser that I picked up from an estate sale for a man that was the organist at the Fox Theater in Oakland. Ca. It is in great vintage condition. There are some minor discoloration in the marble and two small holes where a mirror probably sat. The wood is in good condition for its age. One of the keyholes is missing the wood plug(probably removed due to a loss of the key) This piece has served me well but I purchased a different one. Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique French commode or chest of drawers with an incredibly beautiful marble top. Walnut quarter panel oyster veneer, hand painted portraits and floral designs on it's decorative doors, string inlay on it's internal drawers, fluted columns and heavy carvings on the edges, cabriole legs and feet. This marvelous piece has a scalloped front and the marble itself has a thumbnail scalloped edge and is truly quite special. I've included a detailed description of this piece's very nice condition commensurate with it's age as well as multiple clear pictures from all sides in an attempt to accurately represent this terrific antique French marble top commode with original hardware and lovely hand painted portraits and floral decoration. Manufactured around the turn of the century and well loved and ... morerespected since. This fabulous circa 1900 marble top french commode stands 37 1/4 inches tall and measures inches wide and 24 1/4 inches deep. Front to back. The gorgeous marble top has a thumbnail scalloped edge and represents the longest and widest measurements and is 3/4's inch thick. Again, it is in lovely condition, free of any cracks, chips or hairlines. The large top center drawer measures 25 5/8's inches wide by 23 3/8 inches front to back and 3 inches deep. The four string inlay decorated drawers behind the two central decorative doors each measure 22 1/4 inch wide by 19 1/4 inch front to back and are all 3 1/4 inch deep except the 4 inch deep bottom drawer. The two side top drawers are each 6 3/4 inch wide by 17 inches front to back by 3 inches deep. Below those side drawers behind the decorative side doors, the cabinet behind each door measures 9 1/4 inch wide by 17 inches deep, front to back by 19 1/4 inches tall, with each of those cabinet split in half in height by a shelf that runs across the width of each of these side cabinets. It has white with some gray and burnt color marble on top of the dresser. The marble is in excellent condition. This dresser has three drawers. Each drawers have two ornated handles on it. The top drawer has an ornated“keyhole” on it but there’s no hole in it. It is just the reproduction look. All of these three drawers are easy to open and close. Antique French? European? Art Deco Sideboard Here is a wonderful antique Art Deco Sideboard for you consideration. I'm not certain of it's origin but appears to be Italian or French. Since I cannot ascertain its manufacturer or age. You must be the ultimate judge. This stunning Sideboard has 4 drawers with silver ball type pulls. Each backed by a copper disc. The end swinging cabinet doors are hinged the full length and both contain a working lock(photo#4) with key. The pulls on each door are truly amazing, a perfect compliment to the quarter-sawn oak veneer inlay. There is one small area of veneer loss on the RH end(photo#8) which is easily repaired. my dad had this dresser for over 50 years and I'm pretty sure he didn't buy it new. I have no knowledge of this item my dad recently passed away so I am forced to sell. It stands 42 inches tall x 39" wide x18"deep. All drawers are intact in great condition and open and close with ease. There is a chunk missing out of what seems to be the back panel as shown in one of the pictures but I do have the piece of wood that came off of it for possibly an easy fix. I estimate this dresser being fRom somewhere in the late 1800's. Beautiful raised panels of burl walnut and the original beveled edge marble that does show some discoloration as common in old marble. The mirror looks to be original and shows a little age with some flakes and streaks. The mirror has neat candle holders that have seen the test of time once or twice. They are well attached but have had to be re-glued. T he base has four small drawers over two long drawers. Each drawer has raised edge and hand carved handles. Beautiful Antique Victorian Drop Center Dresser measures 89 inches tall(7 feet 5 inches) 46 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep. Floor to center marble top is 24" Floor to side marble top is 30" Shows normal wear for a piece that is over 100 years old. Missing left side thin wood trim about 2/3 way up(see picture) Center marble piece appears to be a replacement. Marble pieces and mirror remove for shipping. Eastlake antique dresser with mirror & marble top 4 drawers
I wish I knew more about this dresser but I don't. I bought it at an estate sale& it really is in excellent condition. It has 4 drawers total. 2 top& bottom& then 2 smaller ones along the the top. The drawers move smooth& the mirror& marble are in excellent condition. The marble is a redish brown color. The top is all carved wood.
