Table is about 49 1/2" long. The mirror is about 41" tall and 24" wide. Vanity is about 19" wide(front to back) Drawers are about 14" wide and top drawers are about 3" deep. Antique 1916 Mahogany Dresser / Dressing Table / Vanity with Mirror
THIS ITEM IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN IRWIN. PA 15642 ONLY. NO SHIPPING. Antique vanity/ dresser/ dressing table with mirror. The finish is a dark brown. As shown in the pictures. The facing is missing in a couple places. The mirror has two side mirrors that fold in and out. It has 5 drawers; each drawer has a lock mechanism that looks like it accepts the old style skeleton keys, but I don't have a key for it. The size is about 20 inches deep, 44 inches wide, and 59 inches high. Although I can't tell what they mean, there are several markings on it. Stamped into the wood on the back are the numbers 4474 and 57. 4474 seems like it was important to the manufacturer, because it is in 3 separate places. The mirror is very delicately attached to the dresser. I took the wooden back panel off the mirror to see how it was attached and figure out ... morehow to make it more sturdy, and discovered that the back of the mirror is stenciled with the date June 13, 1916 and an"N" and a"P" which may be the mirror manufacturer's logo. On the inside of the wooden back panel are the words"4474 Mahogany" hand written in cursive pencil. The number"48-88" is stenciled inside the back panel also. 4474 Mahogany Toilet" is also hand written in pencil inside one of the left hand drawers, along with what looks to be the"48-88" again. I looked online but couldn't find information on what these numbers mean or where the vanity came from(or how much it's really worth) I also don't know if"Mahogany" is meant to be the color of the finish, or the type of wood it's made of. The mirror doesn't come off for transportation. It is attached only with 4 screws through the wood mirror frame into the desk part. Which is why the center mirror rocks back and forth a little when the vanity is moved. It could be braced more securely but I don't want to put more screws into it, the new owner can do that. The finish is in excellent condition as is the whole piece. The lower right hinge on the left hand door is missing its fasteners for some reason but that is the only flaw. This was purchased in Korea in the early 70’s and was an older piece then. So not sure of the age but the quality it very good. Weighs about 6 lbs. antique federal mahogany heavily carved vanity dolphins for base and mirror harp
for auction is a wonderful federal heavily carved mahogany vanity built circa 1850. this is a great piece has wonderful claw feet with winged extensions all the way around. These are a very nice pair of Dressing Table and Washstand made in England circa 1900. There are 3 satinwood panels to the back of the Washstand, it also has the original cut glass handles, to the base it has what used to call a dog kennel were the dog would sleep below to the center. This would have at one time had a bowl and pitcher on the top were people would wash them selves. The condition is very good. The Vanity is in very good condition has all the same details as the Washstand but with a mirror and two trinket boxes to the top. antique empire flame mahogany vanity dresser carved!!!!
layaway available on any of my listings should anyone have an interest in that. up for auction is the nicest empire vanity i have seen in all the years i have been messing with antiques. i bought this not long ago and have it in my dining room as there is no where else to put it in my 20 room house. i have another one in a bedroom upstairs that i will list shortly. hopefully it will sell and not this one as i want to actually keep this one. anyway. I have seen a dozen or so of these, but none this nice. it is serpentine, heavily carved mirror harp, pedestal, feet and wings, along with carved roping surrounding the vanity top. the mirror shows some fog, which does not bother me, i can have that corrected for about 100.00 should someone want that accomplished. it is free from damage or repairs as far as i can ascertain. i think the knobs on ... morethe two serpentine drawers are original as well. this is a wonderful empire piece made around 1860 or so i think out of the most wonderful flame mahogany as you will find. the piece has wonderful patina and is gorgeous. the pictures do not do it justice. it stands 49.5 to the top of the mirror, it is about 30 inches to the vanity top and 22 inches deep at the widest point of the serpentine top. it is 44 inches wide at the back of the top and 38 inches wide at the front of the top. shipping will be the buyers responsibility. you may arrange a carrier, or i will do it for you, or you may pick it up at my home. if the carrier requires a crate, i will build it for the cost of the material and will not charge any labor. the material will cost about 50.00 for the crate, if required. i need to sell one of these vanities, don't have room for both. i am starting this at probably all it is worth, but if you want the best, this is for you! i bought it because it was the nicest one i have seen in years and years. i doubt you can find another one like it, and if so, it will be expensive. i will be glad to answer any questions or supply other pictures upon request. good luck

The mirror has the original silvering to it showing slight age to it and is still very nice to use daily. It also comes complete with all its original hardware as well. In its original light reddish-brown finish, ... moreit has a touch of empire, but also has an industrialized European look to it. It’s in beautiful condition. We had to re-glue and re-spray the top, which had split over the years, and now it matches perfectly with the rest of the patina. It has four little dainty handcut dovetail drawers on the top, which we call ditty boxes, for ladies’ pieces of jewelry. There is also a little swivel mirror in the center that’s in great condition, and a lovely beveled edge that’s not serpentine but is scroll-like and molded, and it stands on big, tall cabriole legs.
