Seat is 17 3/4" high by 23 3/4" wide by 14" deep. Back height is 23 3/4" Leg spread is 24 3/4" wide by 18 3/8" deep. Tag has it being made by the Statesville Chair Co. It looks to be solid mahogany to me except for the center lattice that goes between the seat and the fancy grooved and turned rail. It has been reupholstered at some point in a heavy 50's type vinyl covering. You can still see the old upholstery along some of the edges if you look underneath. Age is around the 1940's give or take 10 years. Sound and solid with some old nicks and scratches that look to have been touched up whenever they redid the upholstery. A little fine white paint mist on it from someone getting some roller spatter on it but not much of it and it does clean off. Upholstery has no holes or tears but does have 2 light brown ... moremarks on it on the front right corner looking at it. It still feels nice and flexible.
